Jacob is such an amazing gemologist and salesman. He knows exactly how to get you out of your head and in the moment with what ring you're looking for. You just know he wants you to choose what makes you feel the best, even if it means a cheaper sale or a unique/complicated look. Thank you Jacob for making such a complex process so seamless!

Jake was awesome in helping me pick out an engagement ring and the final product was perfect. The customer service is top notch and all my questions were answered. Kept me updated with the process and gave me everything needed. As someone who is unfamiliar with jewelry in general, Jake made it incredibly easy.

I must admit, we had no intention to ring shop. My husband and I happened to be in the area and I just wanted to verify my ring size. Not only did Steve provide me my ring size, he cleaned my rings, suggested maintenance of my bridal jewelry at a reasonable cost and. I think he convinced my husband to upgrade my wedding band. Recently purchased an engagement ring from Sydney Rosen Co. I worked with Steve and had an excellent experience. I spent weeks searching online trying to find the best combination of quality and size. I'm glad I finally visited this shop as Steve quickly put everything into perspective for me. In the end, I got a beautiful diamond that was competitively priced with anything you'd find on the internet. Steve was great to work with and has been helpful in follow up service. I was once given the advice not just to shop for an engagement ring but to shop for a jeweler. Before my partner and I went to Sydney Rosen for the first time, we picked out a few stones from their inventory that we wanted to see. When we came in, Steve had picked another option he thought we would like that actually cost _less_ than those we'd picked (and he was right; that's the stone we purchased). We later went back to add a wrap to the the solitaire stone, and I love it. I'd go back for any future big jewelry purchases.

Love, love, love. My husband bought my engagement ring here and we went back for our wedding bands. They are the only company that I will allow to touch my weddings rings. They've sized them, cleaned them, engraved them. We now live 2 hours away and I always pop in whenever I am in Philadelphia for my rings to be serviced. We almost always work with Ann Marie but have worked with Stephen in the past and he is wonderful too.

Excellent people, excellent customer service, would recommend again and again. Honest jewelers are not easy to come by. My mother once brought her diamonds to a jeweler for a custom made necklace and they switched them out on her, so honest jewelers are very important to me. These people are fantastic and the real deal, don't hesitate to buy from them.

My fiance and I went there to get my engagement ring appraised. They were extremely professional and kind. They cleaned, apprised, and explained every detail of my ring. As we waited for our appraisal to be typed, they consulted us on best wedding bands that would go with my engagement ring as well as some options for my fiance. Simple and non complicated-We were in and out within 30-45mins. Highly recommend.

A GREAT place! Jake was very attentive to detail and my ring is fantastic. He didn't look fazed with my hundreds of questions and I felt he truly cared about my ring and how I felt. He was very personable. My fiance bought the engagement ring from him and explained to him everything about diamonds (to the point where he is definitely more of an expert than I am!). Also the diamonds are conflict-free which was a huge point for me. If I need any new jewelry I will definitely be coming back here!

Syndey Rosen Company is a fantastic operation. From the moment I walked in, Steve R was a huge help to me and answered all my questions and guiding me in the right direction. He educated me on what would be an appropriate engagement ring from the standpoint of beauty as well as functionality. I came in pretty well informed with a certain idea in mind of a ring design, and left with a different setup that was far more timeless and elegant, as well as practical (my fiancee is a nurse so I wanted something that would be work friendly).

Along the way of the build process of the ring setup I chose, all my phone calls and emails were answered in a timely and friendly manner, from start to finish truly being premium purchase experience! I can't thank Steve and the rest of the staff of this thoughtful 3rd generation family-run operation for helping me with one of the most important purchases of my life. 5 Stars!

This is my first review on Yelp, but definitely had to post it after the service I received. I went in the store with my family and my boyfriend to pick out my engagement ring. Ann Marie's helpfulness, patience, and knowledge was exceptional. I did not feel pressured into making the purchase, and was given an abundance of information on the diamond and how GIA certifications work.

She has followed up with multiple times since the purchase of my engagement ring. If you are looking for unmatched quality and service, I could not recommend a better jeweler. Good luck!

I've been working with Sydney Rosen Company for over 15 years and they are the only jeweler's that I will work with because of their amazing service and their honesty. Any time I've bought something from SRC they have shown me under a microscope what is going on so I can see what they are talking about. They walk you through the process and make you feel incredibly comfortable with your purchase. I couldn't recommend them more.

Ask for Steven Rosen! My fiancee and I came here for a new engagement ring setting, which we had already researched online. They had the setting available immediately to try on. Steven was friendly and knowledgable. We got the setting and the ring set within a week and the ring was appraised at no extra cost by Steven, who is a certified gemologist.

We were able to look under the microscope to see the GIA serial number on the diamond before and after the setting. I would recommend going to Sydney and Rosen Co for your jewelry need in Philly. They are professional, not pushy, honest, and the service was great.

Bought my engagement ring for my girlfriend here - no problems whatsoever, so I decided to buy my wedding band from here - BIG MISTAKE! I picked out my band the first week of August and said my wedding was Sept. 20th. I was told it would be in in about 2 weeks. Over 2-3 weeks goes by and they tell me the wrong ring was sent to them and that another one, the RIGHT one, would arrive in about a week or 2.

Last week they tell my girlfriend it would be in last week. I get a phone call Sept. 8th and I'm told its back ordered 2 weeks - after my wedding date. I'm then told I could use a loaner for my wedding day and then come in and get my ring after. ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME! Oh, it gets better. I'm THEN told that the manufacturer doesn't even make the ring anymore.

Yeah - This is told to me less then 2 weeks from my wedding. These people had over 7 weeks to get my ring when they said it would only take 2. You will NEVER see a dollar of my business again. And the kicker is, is that my girlfriend got her band from some wholesale diamond warehouse 2 blocks away - in less than a week. You guys don't deserve jewelers row - you deserve a kiosk in the back corner of a K-Mart - that's closed. Update: They offered to take off $150 from the cost of the ring, which we did because of time constraints. We should have gotten it for free.

Ask for Steven Rosen! I came here to have a diamond set in my then girlfriend's engagement band and insurance appraisal. The appraisal was quick and easy. The work to set the diamond in the band was completed in less than 24 hours, way above expectation. Steven took every approach to make this unknown process clean and simple. I was proactively reassured with every step the ring was in good hands. Steven insisted on validating diamond serial #'s through a microscope to give me that extra peace of mind.

My fiance and I had a great experience here and I couldn't more highly recommend the store. We worked with Jake Rosen and he was extremely helpful, knowledgable, and funny. We felt no pressure at any time to make a purchase. Jake found us a beautiful diamond within my fiance's budget and we were both really pleased with the final product.

When I changed my mind on the day we were finalizing the order, Jake immediately worked with us to find something else I liked. We emailed him about wanting to see different diamonds about an hour before we were due in and by the time we got there, Jake had other diamonds and settings ready for us to view. I found the perfect ring and b/c the company's website was down, Jake went above and beyond to call someone at the company (before we got there so we didn't have to wait at all) to make sure they could do a custom order on the ring.

He had options and information on insurance for us as well. Best of all, the ring came in within two weeks! Overall, the service was thoughtful, kind and informative. I highly recommend this store!

We had an excellent experience at Sydney Rosen the other day. Steven, one of the owners, was kind enough to take time out of his day to discuss a stone we had in our possession and offered us an identification on the house. He was extremely knowledgeable, courteous, and made sure to explain every detail of the ID process; he even let us observe what he pointed out under the microscope.

It is because of Steven's hospitality and service that we will be sure to return in the near future once we're ready to proceed with our investment. We will definitely recommend this establishment to our family and friends.

I went here to look for an engagements ring in the Summer of 2011 and even though I did not end up going with Sydney Rosen for my engagement ring, I had no complaints. They were not pushy, they let me look at their diamonds under a microscope, the diamonds were priced fairly, and they had a lot of nice settings to pick from. Unfortunately, like I said, I did not pick to go with them for my engagement ring, but I definitely had a good experience with them and would go back for other jewelry in the future.

Talk about customer service, skill, and jewelry. My fiance worked with Patrick Fisher to pick out my engagement ring, and I got the pleasure to meet him when it needed to be resized. Patrick Fisher was extremely helpful, friendly and curteous. My fiance tried some other stores on jewelers row, but was not taken seriously. He said that he was helped immediately at Sydney Rosen and was treated with dignity and respect.

We are definately going back for our bands, and I am hoping to find some nice bracelets or earrings there for my bridesmaids. Also, my ring is stunning, they have a beautiful selection.
