I am a local and have out of town guests and took them to the Quarter yesterday. They were shopping for jewelry and we stopped in several stores. I could not believe how unfriendly and rude the people working in this store and a few other stores in the quarter were. We basically had to beg for one of the ladies to show us a few rings. They acted like they could care less if we bought anything or not. Today, I am taking them to Magazine St where I know they will get much better customer service. I was ashamed of the bad customer service they received yesterday at this store!

This shop has some gorgeous jewelry. It makes me wish I had money to burn on diamond fleur de lis pendants. This is a small shop, but it packs a lot in. Beautiful diamonds glisten in the lights and you imagine yourself being draped in luxury while attending some fancy event at someplace interesting. They have a good deal of New Orleans themed jewelry- gators and fleur de lis in every fashion, but they also have a nice selection of vintage jewelry and charms.

I loved the selection of antique charms for charm bracelets, and they had so many that I'm tempted to start my own charm collection. The owner of the shop was very nice and offered to take anything out of a case, so that we might have a closer look. For the average shopper, many of the items here will be out of price range, but they have a few items that you might like for a special occasion.

I purchased the most unique and cute sterling silver charm for my necklace. It was a mini Bourbon street lamp post with the Bourbon Street sign on it. It is a souvenir to remember NOLA by and something that I can keep for many years. This jeweler has some very unique jewelry gold and silver, prices vary but I recommend if your budget permits. The saleman was a great jolly guy and very helpful.

A great place for fine estate jewelry if your budget allows. It's also a terrific place to find gorgeous charms to memorialize your NOLA trip!

Saw the COOLEST necklace at La Petit Fleur. It was a magnificent pique du jour-winged bat that could be worn as a brooch or a pendant This bat was totally whimsical yet so stylish & I completely wanted it! ( And I STILL do! ) Unfortunately, given the precious materials making up this cutie, it was a bit out of our price range for something I wouldn't be wearing every day The salesperson was very knowledgeable about this piece - I imagine it draws in a large number of inquirers - & he told us it could likewise be found on their website for our viewing pleasure So I can go visit this little batty whenever I like.
