All of our galleries are open seven days a week and are able to ship anywhere in the United States. Collectors can now schedule an appointment at any gallery and an associate will prepare a selection of jewelry for your arrival. Curbside pickup is also available at our New Orleans and Metairie locations. We are fulfilling all website orders placed within 1-3 business days. From my experience, if you are looking for quality jewelry I will not recommend MignonFaget. The upkeep is ridiculous considering the price you pay (both to purchase and repair) and the durability is nonexistent. Once your piece breaks, most likely after one or two wears, the company likens it to "natural wear and tear" (see their practiced response to previous reviews) however two wears and unraveling is not what I would consider "natural wear and tear." The craftsmanship is faulty and the cost to repair is passed down to the consumer with only a drivel cut and paste response about fair wage for their artisans to assuage the customer's valid frustration. Overall, this company does not take ownership of their defective product. Specifically, please DO NOT BUY the Halo Bangles they will break after a few wears (like literally 2 wears) and you will have to pay to have it repaired.
To the company, keep any apology to save face on the internet. Instead admit the fault in your product and not expect a gluttonous amount from your customers to correct your mistakes.

Don't waste your money on the Halo Bangles.horrible quality! I have 7 bangles and the wire in all of them have broke and if you want them repaired you have to pay $35! If your bangle has stones and the stones fall out when it breaks you have to pay extra to have the stones replaced. I will never purchase from Mignon Faget! Terrible customer service and horrible quality!

I've been collecting Mignon Faget for years and always admired the style and design. Over the past few years we had ordered online because it was our experience, in the past, that the sales people were extremely condescending and rude and quite frankly we became tired of it. We stopped shopping the collections for a while because I won't spend my money where it isn't valued.
My husband would occasionally purchase something online - but even then we stopped. Recently I needed a gift for someone and I knew that she adored the Mignon Faget designs. I held my breath and went into the store on Magazine street the morning of a Saints game and was decked out in some fun attire. It was on that Sunday that the friendliest sales associate id ever encountered in any retail experience greeted me. Hollis Marshall said hello, didn't hover, *didn't* ask me if I was familiar with Mignon Faget's work in a condescending tone and was downright HELPFUL!
I was floored and left with a new view on the retail experience. In fact, I was so happy I returned recently to do some additional gift buying. Clearly things have changed for the better and I believe Ms. Marshall is reflective of a new happy vibe or renewed happy vibe at the magazine street store.

This past weekend, I went into the Magazine store and was pretty disappointed with my shopping experience. I specifically went there for the crystal fleur de lis glasses. The majority of the store was on sale and I new that these were also on sale. A young lady assisted me and I asked her to confirm that they were on sale and she immediately said no.
I asked again to make sure, still her answer was no. I then went online on my phone to show her that they were in fact on sale. She did not apologize for her error, instead saying that the store was jumbled with items on sale and items that aren't. There were more Senior Sales people around her throughout this process who did not speak up during this entire experience.
If you are selling items in a store that does not have that much inventory, especially at a higher end store, you really should know your product. If your customer is asking the same question more than one once, look into it for them. I ended up purchasing 2 sets for myself, but would not have by the customer service and if I didn't live out of town. I give 2 stars only because MF products deserve 5, but her sales personnel brought it to two stars.

This business will sell you broken jewelry and then blame the customer. I recently bought a piece of jewelry, its promptly broke, so I brought it in, everyone in the store was so nice and said it wouldn't be an issue to replace it. Then I received a series of emails stating that I could buy another necklace off the website at full price. why would you lie to loyal customers? rude. It's a shame because the pieces are beautiful. But in reality, you will only receive poor customer service and faulty jewelry.

I went to the Lakeside Store to ask about getting the Humphrey's Halo Bracelet repaired. There was a piece of wire sticking out of the bracelet. The sales associate told me that the bracelet will need to be sent to corporate and they can restring the bracelet at a cost of $35. When I asked why the store has to charge to back up their products, I was told it was the store policy. My husband and I purchased many products in the past. I decided my $35 would be better spent at Kendra Scott.

Just rude. I was very excited when I was strolling Magazine street and saw the MF storefront. Upon entering, there were about 10 other customers inside and 3 salespeople. I wandered the store for about 10 minutes with ZERO recognition. I saw several things that I wanted to try and most likely buy, but I could not seem to get anybody to attend to me.
There were two customers at a glass counter looking at two trays of rings with a sales person. I reached out (I did not have to move or bother anybody in any way), and selected a ring to try on. When I put the ring back in the tray, the women said to me VERY coldly, "we will be with you shortly". Assuming I had committed some terrible faux pas, I backed away from the case and sauntered through the store looking at other cases and waiting for some form of acknowledgement.
After another 10 minutes of being completely ignored, I left the store. Though apparently no one noticed as I said "thank you" and left. Unbelievable. As Julia Roberts said in "Pretty Woman", BIG mistake. BIG. HUGE. I spent my money elsewhere.

IF YOU WANT BREAKABLE JEWELRY, this is the brand for you! I received a bangle bracelet as a gift. The second time I wore it the end broke off without my knowledge and the pendant slide off and was lost. When I called customer service I was informed that only the end that broke off was replaceable. Never mind that I lost the pendant because the end broke off. I definitely would not recommend this to anyone, poorly made product.

As a born and bred local, I grew up with Mignon Faget. I think she's our most well known, local, original jewelry artist. From the very young to the very old - and everyone in between, if you're from NOLA, chances are you've got at least one piece of her beautiful jewelry. Most of her creations are simple and elegant, and being the true artist she is, there is meaning in her pieces.
Some are whimsical and fun, but never gaudy or tacky. There truly is something for everyone. Her Magazine Street gallery is beautifully decorated and the staff is welcoming. They're happy to help you choose just the right bauble and don't mind answering questions. There is street parking, and if you're not lucky enough to snag a rock star spot, enjoy the walk to her shop.
The people watching, shopping and architecture on Magazine street are top notch. Also, she designs beautiful housewares, scarves and bags. If you're visiting our beautiful city, please don't skip this local gem.

I bought my bridal party gifts from Mignon Faget. I was looking to get each of the ladies something individual to them with a little New Orleans flair, something that they could wear everyday. I found all 7 ladies something which they love at Mignon Faget. The jewelry is high quality and the sales people helpful and kind. I highly recommend Mignon Faget.

This review is more for the shop itself than Mignon jewelry. Growing up in New Orleans I became obsessed with Mignon at a young age, often receiving pieces for gifts. I probably over the years have accumulated 20+ pieces from here and have never been disappointed -- all my pieces have held to the test of time, get many complements, and look good with both casual and fancier outfits.
The prices are comparable for what you are paying for -- original designs and Sterling Silver. I've been to every Mignon in the city and this is my least favorite simply because of the selection. Having a pretty good idea of their inventory, I feel like they really sell themselves short with this gallery! If you're going to peruse, I'd either reccomend looking online and having a good idea at what you want to see so you can ask if they have it in the back, or just going to the store at Lakeside Mall which is far more extensive.
I have only bought something at this location once and the associate helped us was very kind and helpful in us finding the correct sizes and colors for a few gifts. TL;DR: LOVE Mignon, but the other galleries are far superior.

Came here with my fiance to pick up an item that had been purchased as a gift for us. Waited by the register for a solid five minutes in full view of all three sales clerks without being helped or even so much as acknowledged. Finally managed to catch the eye of a sales clerk as she trailed a shopper who was literally wandering aimlessly from one display to the next. Me, politely: "Umm, excuse me?" Her: Wordless, without smiling, holds up her finger in a silent "hold on one moment" motion.
We stand there like fools for a few more minutes. I am boiling angry. Finally, the shopper leaves (she wasn't even being "helped" by this sales clerk, the clerk was simply tagging along behind her. the shopper left without saying a word to the clerk.) Clerk walks up to us. "Yes?" We explain we're picking something up, and give our name. She disappears into the back, come out 5 seconds later saying theres nothing there. Ummmm can you check again?
Because it's definitely there. Lo and behold, she finds it. Places it on the counter with a tight smile. I ask, "Are we all set?" She says, "yes." We exit. Fin. High end snobbery at it's finest. Love the history and story behind Mignon Faget. The jewelry isn't really my speed, but it's well made and attractive enough. But I can do without the judging and the attitude. I left feeling really lousy, when before I had been excited to stop in and pick up this gift. Totally unecessary and unwarranted rudeness. I will not be back.

Mignon Faget jewelry has been around since the 70s & this location has been in existence for about a decade. My service here has varied depending on the associate. Popped in for the first time in a year or so with visiting family yesterday, the associated was solicitous but left us alone to browse. This location also features art, books, housewares and accessories from MF and other local designers/artists so that's cool. Loved the oyster plates! Prices are bit high for sterling, but folks (including myself on occasion) are willing to pay it. There is a tiny 2 car lot on the side street (off magazine) behind the store if parallel parking on Mag seems to terrifying.

Kathy here is the best for customer service. I buy pieces whenever I'm in NOLA from Kathy. Great unique & love the service & quality. it is a bit pricey so I will pair with Express, Ralph Lauren, or Kenneth Cole. Generally get the necklaces & ring combos with bracelets & earrings being the cheaper couplings.
