I walked in looking for "pearls". Other than that, I had no idea what I was looking for. The saleslady (Michelle? Melissa?) was very helpful and patient with me, and found me an adorable product line. My GF went crazy over it. THIS is my kinda place. Excellent customer care and service.

I walked in knowing that I wanted nothing but the label pearls. I'm not a savvy jewelry buyer, but the sales Lady Michelle or Melissa, I can't remember, was very patient and helpful, she found me the perfect piece for my girlfriend, and I wound up buying the whole set. Girlfriend went crazy over it, score one for me, score one for Sue's jewelry.

Steve did a lot off different thinks for me! I thought i could trust him. But i'll never go there again. I got two rings that he was going to make to fit. He toke the gold that was on the side which was thicker and they whey he yolks to gold out so he could keep it. then charge me $67! Any one know to my it smaller cut the bitten where it thin! I'll never go there again. And i will tell friends that want there.! terrible job. Don't recommend

Love love love my Sue's jeweler! I've been going there for the last 20 years and they have now become like family! Family run business who does it right! No matter if you go there in a fancy outfit covered in diamonds or like me shorts and a t shirt you get treated the same! The quality is always excellent and the service is like your sister or momma is helping you! Just great people!

Very disappointed! Needing to find someone who could help me repair and replace a battery in a watch I love. Being excited about visiting a store my entire family used to visit and shop at on a first name basis. I remembered playing in the back side shop that is now a separate hair shop. To walking in, in my really casual pants, hair thrown up, no make, and sandals, not looking the "Old Metairie Type" ( but looks are deceiving and should never be used to judge.) Upon walking in there were couple customers who were being helped by owner and son but neither acknowledged me nor spoke 'hello, I will be right with you as soon as I get done with this customer.' I stood looking around while I patiently waited for either of them to be available so I could introduce myself to see if they remembered my family and how we used to come in there and see if they could help me with my watch repairs. However and unfortunately I walked out after about a good 10 minutes of zero acknowledgement. Really disappointed!

Hey Karl H. thanks for yet ANOTHER 1 star review. Guess what? I'm going to Sue's this morning to get my wife's anniversary present. I've been going to Sue's for years and will continue to do so. Great selection of local artists and traditional jewelry as well! This is what a local jewelry store is all about. They know their neighbors and what we want. RUN don't walk away from this place! Find another jewelry store NOW! Took four months to repair my pocket watch and charged me almost twice as much as the original quote. Got half the refund I deserved! Train Wreck of a business.

If you ever want to give a saints fan a pendent, earrings, rings.this is the place to go. they have anything you could want. starts around $20. they have sir saint pendents, super bowl 44 pendants, krewe de drew, who dat, etc. also lots of fleur de lis jewelery and water meter stuff. they also do have non-nola related jewelery! ohh and i need to get this wine stopper they have - street light that says bourbon and a man drunkenly hugging the post. love it.
