I had the privilege of working with Yoli at Harold Stevens and I have to tell you it was awesome! The backstory to the design of my ring is that my husband passed away and the thought of not wearing my wedding ring at some point in the future was just heartbreaking. So I came up with the idea to take the diamond from my engagement ring and surround it with the birthstones of my husband and I and our daughters to transition it to a Family Ring.

I wear it on my right index finger and no matter what my future holds I will never stop wearing this precious and beautifully made ring. I couldn't have done it without Harold Stevens and the care and compassion of Yoli. I will always use them for any future jewelry purchases. And one thing I want to highlight is that I'm not a rich person. I'm a middle class woman and I never felt out of place or that my business wasn't welcomed. They were warm and kind and I loved the whole experience.

Harold Stevens is my favorite jewelry store in San Diego, I have many beautiful pieces from them over the years. I recently visited them when my wedding ring was stolen, Yolanda helped me create a custom ring incorporated stones that represent each of my children and grandchildren and my husband, it turned out amazing. Yolanda gives you personal service, listens to your ideas and helps you create your special piece of jewelry.

5 star average for a reason -- best customer service anywhere. i've been a client for 15 years.have gone back again and again for pieces for my wife because ryan and team hit it out of the park every single time. resize? customize a piece? ship across the country? done, done and done. i haven't looked for another jeweler because i don't want another jeweler. i'm pretty intimidated when it comes to jewelry, but i trust these folks and always know i'll get a fabulous piece that my wife will love, and get terrific value.

Harold Stevens just has a beautiful selection of unique and high quality pieces. They also provide great customer service. I've always worked with Yoli, and she has guided me in the right direction more than once. And.they have an adorable golden doodle who is part of the working family!

I needed a repair done quickly as I was moving put of state the next week and had put off servicing my ring being busy coordinating the move. I called around and Yoli was knowledgeable, friendly, and stated she can't promise a quick same day turn around because that wouldn't be best for my ring. I trusted her and left it with them over the next couple of days.

They were able to k spent it closely and detect what was wrong and fixed my loose Center diamond. She made sure I knew the diamond signature number before and after so no funny business went on. Even tho it was a simple service, I still felt like a valued customer. The whole experience was pleasant from my first interactions with Yoli on the phone to taking my diamond wedding ring home a few days later.

If I were staying in San Diego, Harold Stevens would be my new preferred jeweler and I would entrust Yoli with all my jewelry needs. Highly recommend, you will not be sorry you chose Harold Stevens. TIP- Parking is under the building and kind of hard to find. But free with validation.

Amazing experience! Making the appointment via Internet was very easy and convenient, and more personal since Ryan chatted with me online, explaining everything in advance in a very professional, respectful, and polite way. The store was also flexible with our scheduling and accommodated our needs. We sent an email before our appointment explaining our budget and style of ring we were interested in.

We also checked out what was available online first too. By the time we got to the appointment, Yolanda had already picked out some great options and gave us her honest take. There ended up being an extremely pretty diamond ring available at an amazing price! The value for the price was impressive! Also the store was very transparent about the diamond report, pricing, etc.

We went for it and the resizing was done quickly. They helped us with a great insurance policy too. Shopping for a ring during COVID was stressful, so we're so glad Harold Stevens was one of our first stops! We found what we wanted right away! Also there was no pressure from anyone about what to buy or how much to spend. Beautiful view from the studio location too!

Such a wonderful experience designing my engagement ring and crown accent band with Yolanda. Definitely didn't feel like a typical jeweler experience she really felt as though she cared and wanted us to find our perfect fit! Went to Ryan as a recommendation from a friend. The recommendation did not disappoint. Ryan was great. I brought in a family ring that I wanted to convert and put stones into an engagement ring. He helped me create the perfect ring for my now wife. Harold Stevens has been my go-to jeweler for almost a decade. My husband and I found them when we first bought my engagement ring and ever since then they have treated us like family. They're creative, thoughtful, resourceful and present amazing heirloom jewelry at very reasonable prices. Harold Stevens has made us custom necklaces, custom rings, creatively included my kids' birthstone in my wedding band after their births and found us the most unique pieces for milestone celebrations. Yolanda in particular is amazing and will always treat you like a sister- she truly cares enough to find the perfect piece with the perfect fit at a price that fits my budget.

I am so happy with my beautiful ring. I picked out a diamond eternity band for our 10 year anniversary. When it came in, it didn't fit just right. Yolanda had some changes made and we got the perfect fit. I can't thank her enough! They care about and stand behind the quality of their work. Side note - their new office is a breeze to get to, parking is always available in the building and they will validate it for you, super convenient.

Recently was looking to purchase a simple silver band for my girlfriend and found this place on here. After calling and speaking with Ryan, I went into the shop and he showed me a bunch of different options and gave some ideas of what I might want to go with. We settled on a 14k white gold band which I put an order in for and it was ready in about a week.

Although I really was just buying a small ring, Ryan took the time to explain all my options to me as far as materials and prices patiently. It was a great experience and I will definitely be returning in the future for anything else I may need. They also do validate parking in the garage below the building which makes things a lot easier for busy days downtown.

Twenty-five years ago Harold Stevens jewelers helped me choose a magnificant diamond ring. I recently returned and had two rings appraised as well as purchasing the most fabulous diamond studs. If you are a guy who needs to buy an engagement ring, but can't name the 4 C's- look no further. This is a true jeweler who will walk you through the process from start to finish. Never pushy. Never up-selling. I was buying an engagement ring, and worked with Yolanda. She listened to what I wanted, then went to work. Over the next few hours she showed me rings and diamonds until we came up with the perfect combo for my (future) bride's ring.

She was always engaged and fully focused on finding the right ring for us no matter how long it took. Since purchasing the ring, Yolanda has followed up to see how the engagement went, invited us in to clean the ring, and went the extra mile to mail us the wedding bands after we moved across the country! What I really like about this place was the owner Harold and his son Ryan's willingness to walk the customer through the complete knowledge of choosing the correct diamond beyond the 4C's info on the internet. I absolutely LOVE my engagement ring. My husband worked closely for months with Ryan and I know how OCD he can be! Ryan gave him updates constantly from choosing the actual stone to the special design of my Todd Reed ring. Coming here is a nightmare if your not familiar with downtown. Near this building their is a parking lot connected to it, complimentary for customers, with validation. The parking structure spirals upwards, so just follow it. Make sure you ask for validation cards from the workers! This is a super upscale jewelry store. You have to be buzzed in to get in.

My husband bought my engagement ring here. And as I came in to look around, everything is just soo breathtaking. All the stones and their designs are definitely one of kind, nothing like Kay jewelers. The staff is also very kind.
