The full ring shopping experience without frills or exorbitant cost! I recently proposed to my partner of almost 10 years and Michael and co were absolutely spectacular throughout the process of selecting and purchasing a very special ring. Firstly all the staff did the basics right: timely, friendly and direct communication over the phone and email.

I never worried that I would get lost in the shuffle and it's clear they value all of their customers, no matter the price-range. Speaking of price range: I was completely up front about my expectations and Micheal returned that courtesy. He was forthcoming and direct throughout the process and clearly believes in the work he and his family do-- producing beautiful custom jewelry with none of the pretension or snobbery.

This is proven by the fact that they can source lab-grown diamonds to be used in any of the settings in the store. You won't necessarily find this option at some of the more traditional places on Jeweler's Row. Completely recommended! We'll be back for our wedding bands this year.

Talk about good fortune. My wife to be and I were in the jewelry district in Philly looking for a Bangle Bracelet. But, I must add I was also interested in finding the right engagement ring for my wife to be. We had been to Tiffany's and Cartier searching for that "Right" ring. Of course they had tempting product. I was willing to pay a pretty penny to make my bride to be happy.

To be honest I was skeptical about shopping in Jeweler's Row. For the hell of it, we went down town anyway. We stopped into several stores really unimpressed. Well, we were headed back to my car when we were passing a rather unassuming, rather small shop and decided to just stop in for the hell of it to see what they might have to offer. Call it Serendipity.

He beckoned us to come back and he promised we would not be sorry. Well, we did. Michael made it happen. I bought THE MOST BEAUTIFUL stone I had seen to date. And for FAR less than I thought I would have to spend! My, now, fiance and I could not be more satisfied nor happier! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Michael. It was the first day of the rest of our lives and it could not have gotten off on a better start!

AMAZING! My father has bought my mom countless and beautiful pieces such as anniversary rings (custom) and other pieces of jewelry. and my parents have bought my sisters and I beautiful diamond earrings. As of recent, my fiance and I just bought weddings bands. Mr. Desumma & team custom made such a gorgeous ring for my engagement ring. It is flawless and absolutely beautiful.

Ronnie did such a great job. The excellent customer service he provided was only topped by the beautiful ring that he made. I walked into the D&W early in May with a picture of a ring my girlfriend liked and he created exactly the same setting and design. I would recommend Ronnie and his team to anyone looking for a great experience and design perfection.

Where do I begin.well I'll start at the beginning I got a gorgeous ring from Zales, but they broke it while sizing, then my second ring, sized wrong and my third ring had so many inclusions and flaws in my black diamond, that I was really upset. I know black diamonds come with inclusions but I didn't want my diamond to have 3 white marks right on the top.

So I decided me and my fiance would call De Summa & Wexler, because they had wonderful reviews. Michael answered the phone, and he let me explain what I had gone through with Zales. He listened. He told me he would pick out some black diamonds so I could come down and look at them. As soon as my fiance and I got there, we were kindly greeted by Michael.

He looked at my ring, understood why I was upset, and said he could help us. He brought out a gorgeous black diamond for me to look at, and guess what. no inclusions on the diamond to the naked eye. No white spots, no chips, no markings, just a gorgeous black diamond. It was perfect. He said that would be the exact diamond in my ring, if I wanted it.

I did! My fiance and I were treated with respect and kindness. Michael is a professional. He didn't insult us, or my first ring, instead his only concern was making sure I was happy. I picked up my beautiful ring today and it's absolutely perfect. No flaws. The quality of the jewelry here is impeccable. But Michael sealed the deal for us, he knew what we were looking for, and he created that. Perfect experience. Thank you so much Michael and De Summa & Wexler for making my gorgeous engagement ring!

After Michael read my review the first time that I posted it, he contacted me to reimburse me for the rhodium he charged me on my engagement ring, since I was an unhappy shopper. Even after I told him and his partner, that I had my ring made by them, they both charged me for the rhodium, to my ring and wedding band. I was reimbursed the $35 for my engagement ring and told only the first time was no charge. Mike would not reimburse me for the ring that I bought elsewhere, though the place that I bought the wedding ring from, was nice enough to rhodium my engagement ring along with my wedding band. I will continue to get a free lifetime of rhodium at the other store. Thanks anyway guys.

Felt comfortable the entire time. Worked with me on everything from diamond selection to cut clarity color size to finally setting. After the dust settled I was truly glad to work with them in stead of some of the others on the street. Most importantly my girl went back and had her ring re-sized for free. Much appreciated.
