I went to DeWitt's to sell an engagement ring that I no longer wanted. Evan was great to work with and offered a very fair price for the deal. He offered more than the other jewelers I visited in the Cleveland area. Quick and easy transaction and treated great from the second we walked into the store. We bonded over of University of Michigan connection. I highly recommend visiting Evan for your jewelry needs.

This hidden gem in Cleveland is a great place to buy or sell jewelry. From the moment I walked in, I was promptly greeted even though they were busy. Evan DeWitt takes great care to learn your style and select creations just for you. I looked all around town at other jewelers and came back here because service and jewelry was the best for the cost. I'll be back and highly recommend.

Evan is a clown. He is way over priced. Pretty much highway robbery. The worst part is he feels he is ENTITLED to rob you. photos with D list celebrities has definitely gotten to your head. Shalom

Evan and his staff to the best they can out of the small shop they have to service all the client as best as they can. I'm a very patient person, when it was my turn I was taken care with water and great customer service overall. Once I had my selection of the chain I wanted I was taken care of with fair pricing and a smile. Every other review on here has to be either fake or just a poor experience that is out of the normal.

Quoted me almost 10k over msrp on a used rolex, couldn't be bothered to stop wiping down a window or even make eye contact let alone let me walk in the shop, ended up just looking in the window at all the pictures of him with d-list celebs but no jewelry before leaving

This is a nice little convenient place in a fantastic venue, well established, does quality work. But, perhaps so well established that acknowledging the existence and presense of a waiting customer while the help shoots nonsensical obnoxious chit chat with other customers who were already served and should bevon their way--is evidentally not important.

Never does any establishment become too good to forget about exercising common courtesy.but it seems some customers are pandered to more than others. I actually find this place quite RUDE! Still, if you don't mind that, its otherwise a good place! Very retro experience.

I visited DeWitt's after searching 2 years for a setting that would match my current wedding band. I knew Evan could design a setting that would enhance my wedding band. The results were spectacular! His phenomenal work brought me to tears. Because I had researched many other jewelers I can honestly say I saved hundreds. His craftsmanship and knowledge were extraordinary. I have received numerous compliments and am delighted to tell anyone where I had it made. Thank You Evan I love, love, love my ring!

What an amazing experience I had at this place. I mean so many options.whatever your looking for, you can find it there! The quality and range of items CAN NOT be matched. I was looking for a few gifts and Jenna (& her husband) really went above and beyond. They were able to narrow it down for me and somehow knew exactly what was looking for, even though i didn't lol!

They have THE BEST customer service. They wrapped the gifts for me, and really gave me useful info for future purchases. To top it all off they all thanked me and they meant it. It was just a really great experience and they just gained a lifelong customer. Thank you all so much.

I've been going to DeWitt's for years, along with my whole family! Always pleasant, helpful, and if Evan DeWitt is there (which it always seems that he is), then that's even better. Very reasonable prices and a huge selection! Evan and his staff make you feel like you are part of the family and Evan's knowledge on jewelry and design is spectacular. This is a must see if you've never been. It's tucked away in the 5th st Arcade, but is such a hidden gem.

Visited the store over the weekend and walked out with a few beautiful pieces. The owner was very friendly, fair and knowledgeable. Will definitely return!

I would say I'm a little picky : After searching online and seeing the positive reviews for Dewitts, I thought it was worth a shot to check this place out, and I'm so happy I did! Customer service was awesome, and the selection of unique jewelry is great. I found my perfect ring! I would recommend this place to anyone.

I went in today. I had a piece of jewelry that has been sitting for the longest. He is super sweet and easy to speak with. Female that works there is very nice as well. I was in and out. Very fast transaction. I would definitely recommend and I will go back if I ever needed anything else in the jewelry department.

The staff is knowledgeable and friendly and service is polite and professional and their products are of the highest quality. I ordered my wife's wedding ring to be custom made to my specifications to match her engagement ring and their product surpassed every expectation.

My Fiance and I went to DeWitt's to have my grandmother's wedding set resized in January. Neither of us has any experience with jewelers or fine jewelry, and Evan was incredibly kind as he walked us through the process. He went above and beyond, answering all our questions and helping us decide on some small changes to the rings. The process was super easy and he had the rings resized and ready for pickup in a week.

He also checked the rings for any potential issues (they had some wear and tear from being worn 50+ years) and let us know what to look out for. We'll definitely continue going to DeWitt's!

The owner, Evan was an absolute pleasure to work with. He helped me transition the ideas in my head to paper and into one of the most beautiful rings ever. The whole process was made so simple, the communication was outstanding and the quality of work, amazing!

I went to DeWitt's to buy a ring setting for a sapphire engagement ring. At first I didn't know what to expect but it turned out to be a great shopping experience. Mr. DeWitt is an awesome guy and his work is pretty amazing. My first impression of him was that he's a very trustworthy person, which is quite different from what you'll find in most of the other jewelry stores around.

Since I was in the process of buying the sapphire somewhere else, he gave me some tips with respect to the price range (helped a lot with the negotiations). He had a wide selection of ring settings at a fraction of the cost you would get in other big chain jewelry stores. He ended up mounting the stone and resizing the ring. Since the ring I found was much larger than what I needed, I was a bit concerned with how it would look after resizing it but he did a great job. The ring looks amazing. I highly recommend this place.

We had my wife's ring appraised. The owner, Evan Dewitt, and his staff (possibly family) are an engaging group. It was a trustworthy staff that explained everything in a very warm manner. In an industry where the customer must rely on the honesty and expertise of the staff, trust is critical. We will now use this shop for all our jewelry and watch business/repair.

I went to Dewitt's to sell my diamond engagement/wedding ring set and got a fair quote, but wanted to shop around first. After visiting 3 other places, his was the best and I returned today. He GAVE ME FAR MORE MONEY THAN ANYONE! Also, the other store owners told me my ring wasn't as valuable because it was princess cut or that the diamond was too good for this market. Mr. Dewitt told me it was a beautiful ring and gave me a great deal, no cons or games.

It was a sad thing to do and his honesty made it a little bit easier. He was extremely pleasant to deal with and he will definitely get all my jewelry business from now on! I would recommend him to anyone.

When my husband and I started talking about getting engaged we were told by many go to Dewitt. We tried a few other closer jewelers and were so depressed but the prices and service- I was beginning to think I would never get a ring that I liked. When we went to Dewitt we were treated so well. I of course found a ring that was out of my price range but Evan made it work.

We sold some of our own jewelry and I got my dream ring! When it was time to buy our wedding bands we knew to go straight to Dewitt. We both love our bands and the service was once again stellar. The most impressive jewelry store that I have ever been to. He has been a sponsor for many events held by a friend of mine and is a generous guy. I figured that I should buy a gold chain from him. A friend bought a diamond engagement ring here and was very satisfied. You can hawk any of your old jewelry here if you need some money and he will usually give a better price than other stores in the vicinity.

If you want a crazy gold chain with diamonds in it, a Cartier or a Rolex, you can get it here. There is some really cool stuff on display including some nice medallions and charms. Some of the pieces and chains are in the high thousands price range. You need to ring a buzzer to gain entrance. If you are near the Colonial Arcade downtown you should stop in the shop and check out some really nice work. There are pictures of Mr. Dewitt with local celebrities Bone and other rich entertainers that he has done custom work for.
