I was always a fan of Walker Metalsmiths, even back when they had a shop in Fairport NY. I purchased jewelry from them for years - it was reasonably priced and they have beautiful designs. Everything was great until I got my wedding bands from them. The first issue was the diamond was not set well in the claddagh ring. Within two weeks, the stone was rattling and I reached out to get it fixed.
While they did fix it for, I had to pay shipping to send it back. They also suggested I be more careful with it since I must have loosened it. After getting it fixed, I have had zero issues for over a year now. It's a lovely ring, but I was sad to have to send it back two weeks after proposing. The second issue was really disappointing. We decided to get another ring, just a silver claddagh with no stone, and we figured it would be a great trip to drive 2 hours and go to the shop in-person.
We got there right at the opening, and there was only one other person. The shop is great, and full of even better looking items then what is shown on the website. However, the young woman at the counter made us feel very uncomfortable, as if we were bothering her. We were trying to find the specific ring when she asked if we needed anything, and we explained the design.
Instead of looking it up for us, she asked if we had a photo since there were so many claddaghs on display. She was loud and unintentionally rude, and it felt like she was trying to rush us through the process. She kept asking if we found it, and then sped through the purchase - she kept making errors in spelling our names and we were concerned the ring wasn't going to make it to us.
She even asked "are you sure that's how you spell it?" - in reference to our own names. In the end, we did get the ring and the engraving is correct. Overall, we are happy with the products but no longer with the service. The jewelry is really nice, and I appreciate the business, but I am not interested in buying from them anymore.

Amazing quality and wonderful people! I received a set of earrings made by them as a birthday present from my partner. Unfortunately, I lost them as I have a horrible habit of losing things. I told them about what had happened as I ordered myself a new pair. I didn't expect anything. I just wanted to tell them why I was reordering them and thanking them for a quality item. They sent me a second pair of earrings as a free gift and I honestly cried tears of joy. I will absolutely buy from them again in the future and I recommend you do the same!

I had a ring that the stone fell out. I contacted Walker's via email. Kristy told me that they would replace the ring under warranty. I went over Saturday 10/30/21 and Kristy had the ring ready for me. I have purchased many items from Walker's over the years and I am very happy with the quality of the jewelry. I am even more impressed with the customer service! I will be a customer for life. Thank you.

My sizing was off 1st time using Amazon ring sizer I'd recommend going to a jewler with those trays of rings in every width. But I got the new size today and it's perfect fits comfortable quality is beautiful exactly what I was wanting. I'd even call and discuss issues staff are friendly and happy to make order right.

One of a kind Celtic Jewelry with excellent customer service to boot. They offer top quality and unique pieces. You'll never go wrong ordering from them. I've had this bracelet for over 15 years and worn it every day. They have repaired it twice for me and often people ask me where I ordered such a unique bracelet from.

Walker Metalsmiths is unique. I wear a lot of Highland Attire. I have found it very hard to locate a source for kilt pins that are not just cheap, chrome-dipped tin. Walker's produces first-rate, clearly handcrafted pieces in real silver and other metals that have deep Celtic character and stand up to hard-wear. I bought two Zoomorphic silver pins that draw attention wherever I go (incidentally, I'd buy more of these if they ever decide to offer them again).
Their substantive look and feel led me to recently order pieces in a combination of bronze and silver. They arrived promptly and, as my previous acquisition, are stunning (and my wife loved the added, small Celtic-design earrings that came with my order). Thanks for offering such rare service and products.

I received this necklace as a gift over 10 years ago and never wore it because the chain was so fine. Walker Metalsmith's was able to create these beautiful earrings so I can wear these beautiful hearts! Highly recommend for Celtic or other jewelry! Create something new with pieces you already have!
