Cannot say enough good things about this business and Howard. I went in with a treasured Rolex watch with a broken band. It was fixed on the spot for no charge. No wonder everyone loves this place. And, or course, it is the ONLY place to buy a Rolex.

Howard and his staff are the best! He sold me my first Rolex ten years ago, and I've been going to him ever since. He does free polishing for all the watches that he sells, so I see him at least once a year. Today his guy spent over an hour polishing a scratch off of a watch that I didn't even buy there. He wouldn't take any money for it. If you, or someone you know needs a nice watch, Howard is your guy. He also does watch service at very reasonable prices.

This is our go to place for luxury high end watches. Howard and his team always goes above and beyond to provide amazing service. If you're looking for a hard to find Rolex or any other high end brand this is the place to go. I would highly recommend this place!

Amazed! In a world where almost nothing lives up to the hype, my experience with Howard Frum exceeded the hype. I planned a one-night trip to Chicago with my wife and my brother recommended I stop by Howard Frum's. I'd been thinking about buying a Rolex for a few years but hadn't ever found a shop that I really liked. I knew in the first minute I walked into Howard Frum that I liked the vibe and the experience. Howard was there to greet me and he and his team were awesome to work with.

I walked into Howard Frum jewelers and found a beautiful preowned 2020 Rolex explorer exactly what I was looking for, had a quick chat with Howard who turned me over to his colleagues Amit and Morris we walked over to the used Rolex counter and much to my surprise they had a 2020 explorer in perfect condition. Went downstairs to have a cup of coffee, there wasn't much to think about, went right back up and purchased the watch.

This is THE place to get a pre-owned or hard-to-find watch. Howard is an expert in the field. I bought my first watch from him over 30 years ago, and I've since moved far away from Chicago. I was in the market for a newer model Rolex that's impossible to find at "authorized dealers", so I called Howard and re-introduced myself. It was like talking to an old friend.

Not only did he have the watch in stock, he gave me a very good price and it arrived the next morning, perfectly packaged and stunning. His support staff is excellent as well (Thank you Lisa!). I called Howard to thank him and he wanted to know if the watch fit properly and told me if I had any questions or issues to call him - this is a level of service that is hard to find these days! I came to the jewelers center for a simple watch resizing. Not only did Howard resize my watch but he buffed it for me after the noticed a few scratches. You sometimes have to dig---or climb---to find hidden treasure. Such is Howard Frum's watch and jewelry shop in Chicago's Loop. For decades, Howard and his family have provided superb---and friendly---service and a wide variety of top-end watches. Their shop, located for four decades on the 8th floor of 5 South Wabash Street, is not highly visible, but more than worth the elevator ride.

Its setting is old-world, or New York diamond district---neighbor to other jewelers and even such interesting arcana as a flute repair atelier. Truly a treasure worth exploring.

Ive gone to Howard Frum for the past 20 years. Bought my ex-husband's Submarinar Rolex there at a very reasonable price, and he never had any problems with it. Then, 10years later, they fixed my Rolex. Ill continue to take, buy, and sell my high end watches to Howard Frum. Having a jeweler you trust is imperative when spending this kind of money. Hands down the best Rolex dealer in the country. I have been buying/trading Rolex watches with Howard for well over twenty years. Commitment to excellence, outstanding customer support, and most of all reasonably priced high end watches. Nobody is going to sell you a watch of this caliber as inexpensively as Howard and his people. If you are thinking about buying a Rolex anywhere else get a price and then go see Howard.

If you don't you're either to rich to care or you are an idiot. They also fix and repair everything they sell and they will go way beyond what is normal to make you happy. All of Howard's people have also been there forever and they are as competent as they can be. This review is unsolicited. I just happened to be in there today and as usual they wowed me with their expertise and customer service. This is how business used to be conducted in this country. I'm happy to say they still do it the right way at Howard Frum.

I've been buying watches from Howard for years and will continue to do so! It's always a low pressure sales environment and you can look at multiple brands all under one roof. His son and staff are all very knowledge and patient! It honestly doesn't matter what brand or price point you're looking at they treat everyone with the utmost respect!

I have been shopping at Howard's store for more than 10 years. He knows everyone in this business after 41 years and there is noting he doesn't have or can't find when it comes to Rolex watches. The place is always a fun experience and the staff know how to treat a customer! I have sold and traded a few watches over the years in addition to my purchases. I always feel I've been treated fairly and honestly.
