The process of getting an engagement ring was very easy with Stan. I made an appointment on his website, he emailed me right away asking what I would like to see. When I got there, he had a selection of diamonds already laid out. He had something better than I originally asked for and within my budget. The ring was ready in 2 weeks and my fiance absolutely loves it. He does great work and is very professional and knowledgeable.

I am so happy with my engagement ring and our wedding bands! I had a particular design in mind when my husband and I began talking about getting engaged. The custom engagement ring turned out incredible and better than I could have imagined! I love that the tiny stones encircling the main stone are hidden from the top view and are only seen on the side profile.

Such a dainty look, yet I know the quality is there. We are so pleased with how beautiful and intricate my rings turned out. We also loved that we were able to engrave the inside of my husband's band after we got married. You can tell the rings were carefully and skillfully made. Both my husband and I ended up needing to resize a ring and they also made the process quick and seamless. It was so fun to work with Stan and he was very professional!

Stan has been amazing to work with. We had him make both of our wedding rings as well as my wife's engagement ring. She wanted a blue sapphire and I did not know where to start. I was recommended to Stan by a friend. I setup an appointment with him and he educated me on the process and gave some great recommendations. We picked the stone and he helped me design the band around the stone.

I found M. Martin through a referral from a friend who got their ring and wedding band from them and had an awesome experience. I came in knowing very little about rings/diamonds and didn't really know where to start. After meeting the owner Stan, I instantly knew I came to the right place. Stan Perkins helped me create a beautiful ring. I had rings from my mom and dad that I couldn't wear. We used the metal and diamonds to create something that I'll wear a lifetime. My ring was designed to fit the exact diamonds I wanted to keep. We researched ring designs and customized my ring to be uniquely mine. It's a beautiful ring with a lot of sentimental value. I met Stan when shopping for an engagement ring. My wife's mother and one of her sisters got their rings from M Martin & Co Jewelers as well as her grandma also getting jewelry there! Martin so we went downtown to check it out. With a warm greeting and a clear explanation of what to look for in a diamond (the website was very informative, too) we immediately felt we were in good hands.

A few years later, I took in the engagement ring to have Stan check the setting and clean it. Another customer happened to see it and asked if she could get that one instead. I had thought about buying rings to propose but me being me, I let it drag for weeks (er months) and then I realized I only had a few weeks to buy them before we had to leave the county because I wanted to propose abroad. I am not going to lie, I ended going to M Martin because they advertise themselves as LGBTQ+ friendly and I wanted to give back the community I have gotten so much from (otherwise I would not have been in the situation of proposing to my boyfriend). Stan, who runs the business, was extremely professional, accommodating (I only had 2 weeks to get custom-made rings) and very knowledgeable.

He didn't try to up-sale anything and was very respectful with my rather simplistic ideas. Other stores/businesses (I.e. Tiffany's) would sell you anything just because you can put your money forward, but it doesn't necessarily mean they care about you or support you and your community; this is not the case with M Martin at all.

My Husband and I just purchased our wedding rings at M. Martin & Co. located at the Mallers building in Jewelers Row Chicago. Both Stanley and Mr. Martin were very accommodating, knowledgeable with their craft and overall, great to work with. Stanley worked within our price range to help create my custom engagement ring and our wedding bands. NOTE: Plan and order ahead of time from your wedding date.

At least 3-4 weeks if you intend on going the custom route. Receiving the ring(s) make take a while, but it was all worth it in the end. Overall, certified diamonds and quality craftsmanship at reasonable prices. Highly Recommend!
