Theo's is the best. I bought my wife's engagement/wedding ring from Theo's 25 yrs ago. She was devastated when she recently lost the diamond. Of course we went back to Theo's! Michael took great care of us and the ring. He managed to upgrade the diamond on our budget and had it done in less than a week! The ring looks and feels brand new! He made sure to restore the portions that showed 25 yrs of wear & tear. My wife left Theo's with a big smile.

Michael makes the most perfect rings! He takes the time to listen to your vision and creates the jewelry of your dreams. For my engagement ring. He is incredibly flexible, creative, and has the best!

Have had nothing but great experiences here. I bought my fiancee's engagement ring here, I've had watches repaired here, and I'm going to get our wedding bands from here. I had a wonderful experience working with Michael at Theo's Jewelers I have been looking to replace a very meaningful piece of jewelry, a pearl ring gift from my father that I received fifty years ago, that had since been lost. The missing ring was very petite and delicate gold ring with shoulder wings that come up to meet the small central pearl.

I had seen a 14k yellow gold mounting that recalled this ring in Stuller's wholesale manufacturer/distributor catalog website, with filigree work on the shoulders. I connected to Theo's through recommended local vendors for Stuller. I chose Theo's specifically based on the wonderful prior reviews on Yelp - I'm delighted that our expectations were perfectly matched by our personal experience here!

Initial questions by email and phone were attended to carefully. Michael promptly obtained the mounting and my husband and I came to see it in person, to get measured for ring sizing, and to choose the correct size pearl to set to work well with the design. Michael chose and mounted a lovely soft white pearl that sets off the ring perfectly. The ring is truly beautiful and a lovely reminder to me of my father. Michael also resized my garnet engagement ring for me. I felt that the whole experience was very warm and welcoming and Michael at Theo's will become our personal family jeweler.

Theo's was recommended to me by my Mom. They had sold, reset, and repaired (bought from other jewelers) countless pieces of jewelry she had and her expectations were always exceeded, so my fiance and I went there to get a custom engagement ring made. I brought in a few pictures, my grandmothers engagement necklace, and a few small diamonds from the ring my grandpa gave my grandma on their 50th wedding anniversary that I wanted incorporated in the ring.

They used all these things to draw a sketch of what I wanted while I sat there and told them what I liked and didn't like. When the sketch was done and exactly what I wanted they took only 3 weeks and I got the ring that was identical to the picture Michael had drawn. We are coming up on our 5 yr anniversary and I have never had a single problem with the ring (I wear it 24/7) and I continue to get compliments almost daily.

I was so pleased that we took my sisters future husband there to get hers custom made from a few pictures taken off the internet. Using ideas from three different pictures Michael custom made her engagement ring and it was once again even more beautiful than we had hoped for. Her ring came out stunning and she was thrilled with the design. They can truly make whatever you are looking for if it's not in their display of gorgeous rings.

If anyone is looking for an extremely reasonable, knowledgeable, talented jeweler, I highly suggest using Theos! I recommend them to all my family and friends and no one has ever been disappointed. They are top of the line and in my opinion the best jewelers in Chicago!

How can I describe Theo.'s in one word? Well amazing. My fiance went here for my e ring and wedding band, now we did do some shopping around before we decided to go with theos. Here are some of the reasons we picked them out of everyone else. We didn't feel like we were being pushed into a purchase when looking. They were very knowledgable about the trends out there.

They took the time to explain to my fiance about diamonds and certain metals, not to mention created an amazing ring for me. They made us feel like family here. I love how they truly care about their clients they respond to my calls right away and clean my ring when ever I come in. I recommend them to everyone. You will not be disappointed

My co-worker recommended Theo's when my fiance and I got engaged. My experience with Theo's, especially working with Michael, was nothing short of spectacular. He and his brother -- who own Theo's -- are maginificant jewelers. They are very knowlegeable, friendly, and extremely helpful. Michael explained every detail about the ring -- from diamonds to what metal to use.

We are very pleased with the result, and, as other reviewers have mentioned, the price was reasonable and the result is simply beautiful. I've been back to have my ring checked and was greeted with their usual friendliness and help. We will be picking out our wedding rings from Theo's in the next month or two. Overall, it's been a very pleasant experience. I would highly recommend Theo's!

I love Theo's. When it was time to get engaged, my fiance reached out to my father with regards to designing the ring. My grandfather designed my grandmother's engagement ring here and my father did the same for my mom. My dad took my fiance to Theo's and created the masterpiece that is my engagement ring. Top notch quality without the blue box price;) They will clean, size, tighten, etc. whenever I come in.

They are prompt to respond to emails and call as soon as the job is done. When it was time to design my wedding ring, we went to the big jewelers for inspiration and took a design to them and they are duplicating it exactly (with a much better price tag). I can't wait to see it! When I have children one day and it's time for them to get married, I know we'll be sending them to Theo's to design the ring!

Theo's is the best! Mark and Michael are knowledgeable and friendly, always fair and a pleasure to work with.and they have a good eye for design. It's the only jeweler I trust when it comes to buying real investment pieces.

Every year i take my pieces in to be cleaned and settings secured and I know I'm going to get back exactly what i dropped off. If you don't see something you like, ask for the catalogs.if they can't find it for you for less they can make it. Real pros. All my girlfriends go to them now.and so do the men in their life.

I have been a customer of Theo's for more than 20 years. I bought my wife's engagement and wedding bands, a diamond tennis bracelet, an anniversary band, diamond earrings and other gifts. I've shopped elsewhere (around the world in fact) for jewelry and found Theo's compares well with anyone for quality and value. Theo's takes a low-key, educational approach to jewelry. I've stopped in many times just to say hello and look. Theo and his sons have always been happy to show me what's new and different, ask about my family and leave it at that. I've never once been pressured.

There were two occasions when my wife's jewelry needed work and in each case Theo and his sons did it quickly and affordably. The shop is pretty small so I don't know how successful it is but Theo has been around for years and it's probably a result of his willingness to get to know the customer rather than just sell jewelry. He and his sons are the real deal.

I wrote a review for theo's before, and noticed that it has conveniently "disappeared". so here is it again. My fiance bought my engagement ring at Theo's and at first we were really impressed, they were friendly, helpful, etc. But then I needed the band portion of my ring to be changed because it cut my fifth finger. and Theo's went from friendly neighborhood jeweler to a shady bottom line jeweler nightmare.

We paid for the work to be done on the band, different shape, same stones, and it Theo's missed their promised deadline by 5 days! And, when I finally picked it up, it was NOT what they promised me. when I dropped off my engagement ring to have the band redone, I also dropped off my wedding band, and Theo's promised me that the beading detail on the engagement ring would be matched to that on the wedding band - not even close!

I told them that it didn't match, and Theo's told me that if I wanted them to fix their mistake I would have to pay for the work AGAIN! Please do yourself a favor and stay away from this jeweler. they are untrustworthy, don't follow instructions, and try to squeeze more money out of you for their own mistakes! I would give them NO stars if that were an option.
