This jewelry store is THE BEST! They have beautiful jewlery. Anything you want, but I had to have a bracelet added to a medical tag, and they did it while I waited and when the lady found out about my plight with a bone marrow transplant, she gave us a deal for which we will forever be grateful. She blessed us immensely and I know this blessing will be rewarded to her. I cried all the way to the apartment with deep gratitude for her kindness; tears of gratitude and joy. Amazing store with incredible staff. We have had a relationship with Levy's for over a dozen years. The inventory in the store is outstanding, spanning decades and at many price points. The staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is enjoyable and stress-free. Even after a move out of state, we visit whenever we are back in Birmingham.

I purchased a time-piece for my 30th birthday last year and I had to have it repaired twice under Levy's awesome warranty. After the third malfunction of owning it for eleven months I took it back and said "I think this isn't going to work out. I love the watch but is there a way to return it." 5 minutes later I had a check. I will absolutely be back -- their customer service got them a lifetime customer. No wonder they've been in business 100 years. 11/10.

I am always pleased when I visit Levy's! They have such a great inventory and it's always educational and exciting to see the beautiful pieces. My most recent visit, I dropped off my rings to be rhodium-plated and was promised they'd be ready by May 11. They surprised me by getting them done ahead of schedule and I picked them up on May 2. I highly recommend them for any kind of jewelry purchase, maintenance, or repair.

My favorite place to buy jewelry and have all my repairs done! They really do feel like family! Great team and fun environment! Love all the unique and vintage jewelry they find. Kim Wilkinson has been helping me for years and is very knowledgeable and great to work with! Also, my hat goes off to Candace Wade in the "back office." Candace is a fabulous designer and can create the most beautiful pieces! If you need something custom made, she's your girl!

My husband and I were very pleased with our visit to Levy's. We went in today to look for an additional wedding band for myself. Davis Green was very helpful in finding us the perfect band! I tend to like Estate pieces and as it would happen the one I fell in love with was in my size. It aligned perfectly with my engagement ring. Sometimes things are just meant to be! This is the place to go if you want to buy jewelry. I have had jewelry repaired, a broach transformed into a necklace and bought several pieces of jewelry. I cannot be more pleased. I have received excellent service from every staff member, and every one has been helpful, professional and patient with my indecisions. The price is correct for the excellent quality jewelry offered and wonderful service. I cannot recommend this jewelry store enough!

I was going with my girlfriend to pick up a piece of jewelry that she was having reset. I've never been in the store before and we went in on a Saturday. They were very busy. However the owner came out to help her and she liked it very much. While we were there I had my girlfriend look at rings that she liked. The next week I called Breton who showed us the rings. Breton was very helpful and eager to earn my business. I've seen some of the other reviews on here and they're not a discount store. You're getting high quality and a great family reputation.

If you're looking for something unique and a store that will stand behind what they sell this is a great place. Be sure to ask for Breton, he knows his inventory and is willing to work with you.

Learned about this place through word of mouth. Not sure if i had seen a commercial, however I'm glad I stopped by. The collection is unique, beautiful, and the staff seems eager to help and can provide tons and tons of information and suggestions. All other places felt more corporate, and their jewelry seems cookie cutter. Would recommend you at the very least make this a place to stop and see for yourself if you're looking for jewelry. I'm sure you'll be impressed.

Levy's has been so great with us every time we go in. We bought our engagement rings, wedding bands and other jewelry gifts from them. Customer service is always on point. We are a same sex couple and it's never been an issue for them. They have always treated us with amazing customer service.

Where to begin? I have been dating my boyfriend, now fiance, for about six months. I had shown him a total of maybe 5 rings off Instagram with the bezel setting that I like. He met with Joseph at Levy's and the beauty that followed is unreal. Joseph helped him design my custom ring and it is everything I could've dreamed of and more. I cannot stop staring at it! I went to buy a retirement gift for my boss. The representative (Joseph) was very attentive. He listened to our needs and was very patient with us while we made up our minds. He let us browse around without hounding us, but he helped us by answering our questions. After we picked out our item, it was gift wrapped nicely and we didn't need to do anything else. Our boss loved the gift, as Levy's is her favorite jewelry store. I highly recommend that you pay them a visit.

I have been going to Levy's since 2008 and I love that store, talking about exquisite jewelrys!everything is beautiful! Levy's will be the only place I shop for jewelry in Birmingham. I was looking for an engagement ring and found the absolute best options in town. Everyone that works at Levy's is very nice and really cares about selling you the ring you want and not just trying to make a quick sale. An employee, Joseph Denaburg, made my experience extremely enjoyable, he assisted me in the buying process along the way. Not only was Joseph a huge help with finding my perfect ring but also great to talk to and a very genuine person. Thanks for all your help!

If you need anything jewelry related go to Levy's. I've gotten a gold chain repaired here and they were really quick with getting it back to me. I went back with my girlfriend and met with Anne to look at engagement rings. She was so patient with us and was a tremendous help! She helped us find something that my girlfriend (future wife to be) loved and I will definitely be going back for any of my future jewelry needs!

Best jewelry store in town. If you like vintage rings/necklaces, this is the place to go. I bought my wife's engagement ring in NY (110 years old) and brought it to Levy's for refurbishment. When I got it back, it was in perfect. They know what they are doing. We also both purchased our wedding bands from them along with a Victorian necklace that I gave my wife for a one year anniversary gift. Levy's also has a good selection of vintage watches.

I don't really understand why most people would rather have a cheap quartz watch when there is so much history in vintage. They are definitely the best place in Alabama to go to find a huge watch inventory ranging from $100 - $10,000. They do not carry cheap throwaway watches.

Went in to buy a wedding band for myself, heard they are super friendly and great service. The representative that helped me was neither. She was a shorter middle aged woman with short curled brown hair, I forgot her name bc of how condescending she was. I told her I needed something simple, nothing too crazy of price. She immediately showed me some rings, price range $750+.

When I said that was a bit too expensive, and asked about the Tungsten and Titanium rings they had in their display case, she said word for word "no you don't want those" and immediately started showing me rings that ranged $700+. I saw a ring I liked in the case she was showing me, and voiced that to her. She said "yeah that one is nice" then looked at the price tag ($250) and said "oh no wonder".needless to say that was when I checked out mentally. Was going to ask about resizing my grandfather's ring but couldn't even bare to look at her face anymore, had to get out of there. One of the most condescending and snotty places I've ever been too. Do yourself a favor and go someplace else.

Best and most honest jewelry store in birmingham! All the employees are awesome and very knowledgeable about their products! I highly recommend this 100 year old family business! You don't go for this long unless you're doing something right!

I asked to have my watch repaired today The guy who did it was very nice However the other employees there were talking about other customers very rudely. Especially the blonde lady with short hair and he gentleman with the goatee/beard.

This is it for Birmingham y'all. The customer service has always been professional and sincere here for me. I have used them for over 20 years for everything from engagement ring to diamond studs to watch repair to gold chains. They are price competitive, knowledgeable, resourceful and unique. They do not put on airs or make you feel like a bull in a china shop. They are proudly Alabamian, but not brookies. Still, they have all the best selection of diamond goodies and unique antiques as well. If you don't know now you know.

Visiting a jewelry store is never high up on my list of things-to-do. But Levy's isn't your ordinary jewelry store. If anything, it feels more like a museum filled with beautiful and intriguing curiosities. Even if you're not looking to buy anything it's hard to not become entranced by it's shiny spell. Levy's keeps up with modern brands (especially when it comes to diamonds and watches) but their bread and butter comes from antique and estate jewelry, which results in them having lots of rare and / or one-of-a-kind pieces of jewelry.

Some of the pieces are immediately ready to hit the sales floor, while others are cleaned up and restored by Levy's amazing staff -- think of them as both artists and archaeologists. It's that last bit that gives Levy's a competitive edge to any jewelry store anywhere: Not only can they fix most anything you bring there way but they can also take bits and pieces of old jewelry and create something brand new.

Everyone at Levy's has a genuine passion for what they do -- after all, it's in the blood (Levy's has been family owned and operated since 1922). There are no high-pressure sales techniques, rather a dedicated staff who are as excited about what they have in the store as you surely will be.
