I could not be more pleased with the excellent service I have received over the years from Sid Stevens Jewelers. The attention to detail, depth of knowledge and personalized care have exceeded my expectations. Though I no longer live in the Albany area, I am happy to drive two hours, one way, to continue to do business with Sid Stevens Jewelers. In addition, I have always been very appreciative of Sid Stevens' personal dedication to the Albany Community through his charitable contributions. It is highly commendable when businesses make it a priority to give back.

I went to Sid Jewelers to get my wedding ring, from twenty years ago, re-designed. Sid did a phenomenal job! His work took my breath away. I almost cried when seeing his redesign. The wait time was about a month but it was finished by the date Sid promised. Very thankful! Thanks Sid Jewelers!

The customer service from the older woman who works there is severely lacking. I've had pieces fixed there and it's fine, but I have been literally insulted several times. My diamonds might not look like diamonds to you, but don't be rude. Four people I know have had the same ill-mannered treatment, it's unacceptable.

I cannot recommend Sid Stevens Jewelers strongly enough! The store offers much more than top quality jewelry and knowledgeable sales staff. Sid himself has made several custom rings for us and other family members that will be treasured for generations to come. Sid and his wife Susan are generous community members for area nonprofits as well as genuinely nice people.

Sid was able to make my dreams come true! I wanted to recreate a family heirloom in memory f my grandmother who was recently sent home on Hospice. I had very specific wishes to honor her memory and wanted a gold band from my great grandmother to be used in the making of my custom ring. Sid most certainly make this ring perfect in every way and his price was very fair. I feel so thankful to have a local jeweler that's so talented and that I can trust! I will definitely be back!

So I had a ring made at Sid Stevens and was given a ring from Sid Stevens. Love them both. Both are platinum with solid shanks. Since then I have lost some weight and need the rings sized down a hair. Unfortunately, when I called to ask how long and how much, I was told by the end of the week but that they couldn't tell me how much. I have to bring the rings in to get an exact price.

When I asked for a ballpark, the woman refused. I asked if it would be $700 to size one ring and she said she couldn't tell me without seeing it. I'm sorry, but really? All I wanted was a ballpark. So now I can drive over there to find out what the cost is or I can just give up on Sid Stevens and go to one of the stores that was wiling to give a ballpark.

Guess which one I am going to pick? Before you wonder why I didn't call the store and ask for Sid, I have found that the gatekeeper won't let you talk to him. So. I can't speak to the manager, I can only speak to someone who can't help me. ugh.

Sid did an amazing job of combining 4 generations of heirlooms in an engagement ring for us, creating a new family heirloom piece. Sid and his staff were great to deal with and very professional. I chose Sid Stevens Jewelers based upon reputation and the fact that all the work is done in house and locally, his reputation is WELL deserved. She loved the ring and we would highly recommend Sid and his team.

Beautiful Work. Sid is a superb craftsman and supporter of the community. I have been learning about some family history. One of my great uncles was in the 17th Dragoons (Lancers) of the British Army. Stationed in India, my uncle fought in the Boer Wars and then was gassed in WWI. I brought Sid a photo of the Dragoon insignia and he created the pin shown here. It is wondrous and a perfect match. Thank you Sid! This will become a family heirloom to be passed down.

Sid took great care of a family diamond and was able to reset the stone beautifully into a new ring. He listened intently as I described what I needed for my fiance's engagement ring and he asked questions that made me feel confident he would do it right!

Sid Stevens Jewelers didn't check the function of the watches when I picked them up after having the batteries replaced. They don't work! Not happy about this!

A past boyfriend gave me a ring that I had no idea what to do with - it wasn't my style, it wasn't anything I would wear. Honestly, it was pretty ugly. Having never been in to Sid Stevens Jewelers I wasn't sure what to expect, but I took the ring in to ask for ideas about how to sell it. Sid suggested he remake the ring into something I would love.

Sid and his team reused the stones from the old ring, let me trade in the old gold and the price in general was low compared to what I expected (feared?). Not only was the price great, they made a ring that blew my mind. I LOVE IT! It's gorgeous. I am so thankful! Check this bad boy out! Sid Stevens Jewelers helped me rework my wedding ring set to include a diamond I recently inherited and to add some embellishments to the band. Sid listened to what I wanted done and by the time I left the store I was confident he would get it right. The craftsmanship put into the final design exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend Sid Stevens Jewelers for any jewelry repair, design, or purchase.

About a year after moving into the area, I decided to take some second hand rings to this shop to see if I could get them traded in and a custom ring made for myself. I was delighted to be warmly greeted by one of the staff. Most of my inquiries were answered, the rings were looked at to see if worth remaking into something more my style and I was told to imagine or come up with a design and "Sid" the owner could make it.

I am so delighted with the end result and was able to trade in the leftover diamonds as credit toward the cost. This is not a cheap date however.you are getting what you pay for in the craftmanship and service. The store has some beautiful items available. If I am ever able to have another custom piece of jewelry made, I would have it done here again. Integrity in this business is paramount.

Sid does amazing work. Such detail. He can make you whatever you want, even designer-like jewelry like Verragio. Everyone there is so friendly and they seem to actually care about your needs. They will clean and check your jewelry every month for free. Best jeweler in Oregon! And Sid picks the best diamonds.

I grew up in the area, and was back in town for my sister's wedding. My family has been using this jeweler for years, so I didn't hesitate to bring in a ring that belonged to my grandmother to have it sized. Sid himself did the work. He was honest and up front with me in the beginning, letting me know that the stone was loose and how much it would cost to fix it, on top of the original sizing quote.

I wasn't able to afford it at the time, so he made sure to show me where the damage was so I could be extra careful with it. The good news was, not only was he able to provide the sizing in a timely manner (a matter of a day and a half), he was able to fix the stone setting just by sizing it -- and didn't charge me extra! The ring itself has little monetary value, as the stone is synthetic, but he cared for and appreciated it for what it was - a family heirloom and something I treasure. Highly recommend their services!
