Sausalito Jewelers is the best Bay Area has to offer! Sam and his team are incredibly personable and spend time with each person to get to know what they truly want. The diamonds are beautiful quality and Sam is always striving to give his customers the best deal. Sam cares about his customers deeply- every time I go in he asks about my family, friends, wedding, ect.

Outside of the best, personalized service, the have unique designs you can't find anywhere else. I get so many compliments on my wedding band because it's it's beautiful quality with unique stones. If you are in the Bay Area, do yourself a favor and go to Sausalito jewelers for unique items and amazing service.

Sausalito Jewelers was the PERFECT place to get my engagement ring made. I stopped by just to ask some questions about the center stone diamond I bought elsewhere and ended up having an amazing conversation with Aida. She walked me through their whole process, showed me their studio, and introduced me to their master jeweler. I learned so many things about the ring creation process without any pressure to give them my business.

In the end, I'm so happy I did. They worked with me on a condensed timeline and designed/crafted a ring that not only looks gorgeous but is structurally strong to last for generations. My fiance and I will be going back for future jewelry needs, and I highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for a personable jeweler that will work with them to create the perfect ring of the highest quality!

My girlfriend's silver ring that had A LOT of sentimental value to her cracked. We had a friend try to fix/solder the ring and he just made the ring worse -- big mistake! I searched Google for a jeweler near me and met up with Sam. Sam and his team do not usually work on silver, but I explained my story and they were very helpful and very fair with pricing!

I've always been uncomfortable going to any jeweler outside of my long time family jeweler in NY before meeting Sam and Aida. Even after moving I drive to them because I know I can trust them. They have taken such good care of me and made me feel so safe leaving my most sentimental pieces with them for repair recently. It's like going to the local family owned deli vs Subway. I would recommend them to anyone for repairs or new pieces.

Having searched dozens of websites and several jewelers and stores in person for an engagement ring-I cannot overstate how much I recommend Sam and Sausalito Jewelers. I made an appointment online and went in for my allotted time. Having been to a few different places that couldn't work with my timeline (I needed the ring in a little over three weeks), I was beginning to lose hope. Sam didn't even hesitate when he told me he could make it work.

This is despite the fact that the ring I had in mind was one of his more intricate (not to mention elegant and stunningly crafted) pieces. Sam assured me that as long as I didn't hold up the process on my end, it could be done. Sam and his team walked me through the process throughout the creation of the ring. His enthusiasm is infectious. It's clear he cares deeply about his work (his art) and his customers.

He invited me to witness, take video, and even participate. They also took video and pictures for me when I couldn't be around. The content we gathered was a really special part of the proposal; my fiance loved seeing everything that went into the ring. Finally, after the proposal, Sam invited us to toast with a glass of champagne, and his team resized the ring (it was a tiny bit big) at no cost and with no visible impact on the overall shape. 6 out of 5 stars!

Great work both fixing some watches but also being extremely friendly and educational on how we can use some family jewelry and reset into some nice pieces. Also helpful on education around engagement rings! We'll work with Sam for many years to come

Excellent service! I went in to have my engagement and wedding rings inspected and cleaned and had a lovely experience. I was able to make an appointment online, which I love, and was greeted by Sam and his friendly team. Sam was incredibly knowledgeable and extremely friendly and even though I wasn't purchasing anything he made me feel like a valued customer. I will definitely be back in the future and would recommend them to everyone.

Just the most incredible place with the most incredible and gifted team. Sam designed a custom engagement and wedding ring set for me 4 years ago and I still have people ask me where I got my ring constantly. After four years of never taking them off, they needed some TLC. Sam made the rings look brand new. I kid you not, they may look even better than when we first got them four years ago.

Great experience creating a very reasonably priced engagement ring for my fiancee. I had a general sense of what my girlfriend wanted based on looking at a few other shops with her and Sam & team helped me think through the options and settle on an approach. Sam went above and beyond and made it for me right before I was set to fly out and meet her for the (surprise!) proposal. The ring was beautiful, exactly what my girlfriend wanted and she has been showing it off to everyone ever since. Highly, highly recommend shopping here.

My fiance and I recently got engaged and I was referred to Sam by my sister-in-law. She had her engagement ring, and several other special pieces, re-designed/produced by Sausalito Jewelers years ago and I trusted her recommendation. She forewarned me that the process could be long and frustrating at times, but that it would be worth it in the end. Looking back now (3 months later), nothing anyone could have said would have prepared my fiance and I for the disappointing experience we had with Sam.

We thought it was slightly odd that there was no jewelry in the store when we arrived for our initial consultation, but we attributed it to COVID strangeness and low inventory/supply. When I handed over my treasured diamonds in exchange for what was to be a 'unique and special design', it was because I trusted him. When Sam talked at length about all of the expensive equipment he uses to create unique ring designs, but then failed to make a simple sketch for us after 2 1/2 months, we thought it was strange, but given that we were trying to customize a ring leveraging existing stones, I trusted him.

When Sam ghosted me for weeks and failed to produce a CAD design as promised, I knew something was wrong. He claimed everything "was out of his control". Ultimately, we made the decision to give up on Sam and all of his unfulfilled promises. If you are looking for a talented and trustworthy jewelry designer to work with you on a meaningful piece that you will treasure, save yourself the headache and avoid Sausalito Jewelry. Sad but true.

Went in looking for the perfect diamond engagement ring and meet the wonderful team at Sausalito Jewelers who make the magic happen with their onsite studio. I was really blown away by the top of the line technology that they use. Will happily call this place "My Jeweler" for any needs.

My Husband and I have been looking into to getting me a new engagement ring for sometime now. I was referred to Sausalito Jeweler from one of my girlfriends who had heard about them from many of her clients. We live in Rohnert Park so it was a drive but SO worth it. I had the pleasure of working with Aida. She was super perfessional, knowledgeable and fun to work with.

I sent pictures of what I was looking for ahead of time which I suggest. She pulled some options for me to look at so we could customize my perfect ring. I had to bring my 11 month old with me and she welcomed him like one of her own family members and that made me feel so comfortable. All you families know traveling around with a baby has its unexpected issues but my baby felt at ease.

After our appointment I felt so excited! Three weeks later my ring was ready and it is literally PERFECT the craftsmanship, stones and band were just what I had imagined. I'll for sure be coming back for more pretties in the future!

A couple years ago I walked in to inquire about an engagement ring for my girlfriend at the time. I immediately was assisted by Jessica, who was so helpful and so passionate making it such an amazing first visit. Since then Jessica, Sam and the rest of the team worked with me to create the perfect engagement ring. Since I had such a good experience, I went back with my (at that point) fiance for our wedding bands as well.

This time Sam walked us through the whole process and we couldn't be happier with how our rings came out. Sausalito Jewelers was amazing! My engagement ring did not come with a matching band. Sausalito Jewelers was able to make a custom band, made sure it had the exact details that I wanted and made sure it was flush against my ring. Sam took the time to sit down with us to design our ring the first visit. The next visits they created a mold of the ring, which we saw and could modify, and created the final product.

We drove their multiple times from Fairfield, CA to make sure the ring was perfect. Sam was extremely knowledgeable and the price of the ring was fair. If I need any other custom jewelry I will definitely be back!

Unbelievable experience working with Sam on a custom ring project for our engagement. He met with us by appointment and really got a good understanding for what we wanted. We were thrilled with the final design and after wearing it for a month, my fiance could not be happier. I set a budget up front and let Sam work with her to build the ring of her dreams over 8 weeks.

The final product is truly first-rate. The ring was moderately expensive but super reasonable given the exquisite quality and traceable provenance of the gems. We strongly recommend this business for anyone looking to have an enjoyable and rewarding experience with custom jewelry. Sam is the best!

I had a wonderful experience working with Aida at Sausalito Jewelers to design my wedding band. I already had worked with another Bay Area jeweler to design my engagement ring, and it turned out very poorly, so I was skeptical of any other custom jewelry designers. I'm happy to say that working with Sausalito Jewelers was nothing like my previous experience, and my ring turned out even more beautifully than I could've hoped.

The entire process was remote during the pandemic, and I couldn't believe how easy and painless it was to plan every detail, get all of my questions answered, and to create a design that aligned perfectly with what I wanted. Aida was responsive, patient, and helpful in planning my ring design, including fulfilling my requests for particular ethical sources of materials.

The price was also more reasonable than the other jewelers I've gotten quotes from throughout the Bay Area, and I was never pressured to increase my budget. I'm grateful to have this jewelry design team nearby, and I look forward to shopping here for many years to come.

This is not a job. They get to make people unbelievably happy, all day, every day. How is that a job? Also, this is not a jewelry store. this is a place where actual magic happens. I get a bit cynical, and the tourist-type location would make me overlook the storefront. In fact, I had for years. and without sites like Yelp, I may have never. been lucky enough to have the greatest consumer experience in my lifetime.

My fiance and I had a perfect experience working with Jess at Sausalito Jewelers. We wanted to create a custom setting that fit my style but also enhanced the family diamond we had for the engagement ring. Jess was patient and helpful during the entire process. Once we agreed on a design, we left the diamond at Sausalito Jewelers and were told the ring would be ready in 2-3 weeks. Jess emailed us the virtual design, then photos of the 3D printed wax mold so that we could confirm we liked the design before the setting was created using platinum.

We picked up the engagement ring 3 weeks later and absolutely love it. I would highly recommend Sausalito Jewelers to anyone shopping for engagement rings, wedding bands, etc. The service is exceptional.

Warm, real, honest Jewlers. Sam and his team are creative and accommodating for any budget. If you want to buy something, he has a lovely collection, if you want to design something from start to finish, he can do that, if you want to transform your inherited jewelry into something that you will wear today - more to your liking - he will work with you until you are happy. We love lunching at Poggio, stopping by Gene Hiller and then a quick walk down to Sam's to see what he has new and exciting. Oh and everyone is dog friendly too!

Plenty to say about a great experience! I took the plunge and leaned on Jessica and Sam to help me make some big decisions on an engagement ring. I'm a hardcore shopper and leave no stone unturned especially on big purchases. Budget and value is a delicate balance and they helped me navigate that very well. I live in Sausalito, so anything downtown I am immediately skeptical of being a complete tourist trap. So I was a little surprised to see the rave reviews this place got time and again-- it wasn't just seashell necklaces and overpriced rings? I swung by one day, in need of a repair for my engagement ring, and met Jess. Jess is totally authentic, incredibly knowledgable, and just really damn nice. Don't let the downtown Sausalito location fool you-- these guys are the real deal, and will help you out with whatever you need, with reasonable prices to boot.

Buckle in and grab a tissue because I can't share this epic retail experience of mine without waning poetic. Before we were married, my darling husband did something really selfish--he left me. In an instant, a thousand blissful moments of love and connection seemed to disappear. Dumbfounded and heartbroken, I packed all of my belongings into my car, said throat-knotted goodbyes to all my loved ones, and set out on a cross-country roadtrip. Everyday, I wrote and I cried.

One day, I went to the Sausalito Jewelers to meet Sam, "the wise one." The tall, olive-skinned shopkeeper has a smile that lends to a sage--a natural salesman sans a dishonest bone in his body.

He remembered my partner immediately. "He was pretty frazzled when he came in, said he needed it tomorrow--which never happens. I can tell he's a great guy.we talked for a while." I gave him a hug, without saying anything else. He had offered more support for my man than he'd ever know. I went back to the shop two more times to get the diamond re-set, and I got to meet sweet, beautiful Jessica. Oh, Jessica! Sharp, accommodating, stylish, so personable--I felt like she was enthusiastically (and kind of secretly) sharing her passion with me--jewelry creation!

Her bright eyes and kind smile, she followed through on all the calls and emails--doing everything she could to make sure that I knew all my options and got exactly what I wanted. When I went to pickup the finished sun-moon diamond re-set on a gold band, I brought her a gardenia flower as a small gesture of gratitude for her kindness. She started to cry as it was her Grandmother's favorite flower, who she had been missing and speaking of just earlier that morning. Sometimes, life is really, really hard.

Some person, some thing, some idea abandons you and all feels lost. And then, there are moments of perfect balance--when you discover great beauty in something you've seen a thousand times before; or you embrace forgiveness in a way you never thought possible; or you meet a stranger who turns out to be a calming presence amidst a storm of chatter and strife. I have had nothing short of an amazing experience working with Sam and Jess at Sausalito Jewelers. I designed my engagement ring and wedding band as well as purchased my fiance's wedding band through them and I'm so happy I did. They have a super customizable process and work with you to create exactly what you're looking for. I selected a three stone setting on display and they were able to tweak the design to have a lower profile, small side stones with pear shaped diamonds, rose gold instead of the white gold on display, and they were happy to set my own diamond in as the center stone.

I also love their color of rose gold - not too pink/brassy. Before the final ring was created, I had several opportunities to view the 3D printed mold of my ring and make adjustments beforehand. And I can't forget about Paulo - who is the one behind the scenes masterfully creating the beautiful jewelry- God bless that man who resized my ring twice to get it to a size 3.25.

On top of that, the prices are good for the quality of the ring, the excellent service, and the customizability. I honestly think they are capable of creating almost ANY design you could think of. Thank you guys!

Sam and Jen were fantastic to work with. When there was a snafu with my ring order, they took it upon themselves to make sure I got my ring in time no matter what and that I was totally pleased with everything. When I discovered my ring was a little big, they quickly resized it at no extra charge.
