Had my engagement ring from 1973 repaired. Looks beautiful. Very happy.

If I could give it 1 million stars I would. I LOVE the finished product so much. I wanted to change my wedding set. I brought it in, and Shane had a vision and sent me some photos and in less than two weeks it was complete. The customer service is phenomenal.

After being quoted a low price over the phone for a custom engraving, I accepted the three times higher rate and was rewarded with only a minimal effort. The final product was done very basically, without any attention to the final result. I will be searching for service with more attention to details in my future business transactions.

I am not a high-end customer but I am always treated as one, even if I just come in for a polish/ cleaning of jewelry or a battery replacement for my watch. Often, the service is performed on the spot. I've had them engrave unusual items, which they have done with precision and excellence. They understand I could go somewhere else, but they've never given me a reason to go elsewhere - and every reason to come back!

The staff are all very very helpful and nice! I went into see about rhodium plating/ cleaning my wedding bands that had never been cleaned before. I ended up getting a prong repaired for a loose diamond. It was timely and well priced! I also picked up some cigars for my husband for our anniversary. They have a great selection of both rings and cigars. I will definitely be a return customer! Thank you guys!

Bought my wife's wedding ring here. At this point they've ruined it to the point it's longer wearable. It's not owned by the same family that everyone says has had it for generations. They've re-tipped and covered the smaller diamonds with gold. Told me to re-tip when I had them check it, got second and third opinions and it wasn't needed. Told me I didn't need anything when I had them check it, had loose diamonds that fell out 3 times. Thinned the band way to much when they resized it, claimed it was just wear and tear, now it's uneven. Made a custom band that came out lop sided and didn't match, still had to pay.

When I upgrade the diamond they bent the prong and the whole thing was crooked, tried to make me pay to fix it. Always try to up sell me anytime I go in there. Estimates are never consistent. At this point I won't even take it there for the free cleanings.

Received a stone from my late grandmother. They told us that the stone was rare when I got my ring resized. When we picked up the ring it was an entirely different cut/color than we brought in. We trusted them and they betrayed us. They will take your genuine stones and replace them with cheap ones. Never bringing anything back again.

These guys are great. I needed a special engraving job done in a hurry and they were able to pull it off and it looked amazing. My wife is due for a new piece of jewelry and i'm definitely gonna head back soon for that. Thanks Stucki Jewelers!

I have lived in Grass Valley for over 30 years. During this time, Stucki Jewelers has sold me several items, done multiple repairs on things, resizing, built a pendant, replaced batteries, etc. I have nothing but praise for their products and their excellent service. They are very trustworthy.

I had an earlier history with Stucki Jewelers many years ago. I got my ears pierced there for my birthday, bought my first gold ring from them that was Langstrom's Black Hills gold. My grandparents had retired to Grass Valley when I was very young and I spent many years in that area both to visit and to stay with my grandparents. I used to love Stucki Jewelers.

They had a huge selection and the folks there were so nice. I have treasured my past purchases from them. Fast forward quite a few years later and clearly times have changed. Their inventory is very limited compared to before but that is okay. However was was NOT okay was my visit this past week. I was so excited to be in town for an event and made a special trip into town just to go to Stucki Jewelers.

My plan was to see if they still carried Black Hills gold and also to buy myself a new pair of earrings. A complete treat to myself and something I was very much looking forward to. However when I got there, they had 2 clients they were helping and 2 others in front of me waiting to be help with just 2 gentleman working the counter. Okay, not a problem.

I walked around a bit and I waited. I was so happy to inquire on a pair of earrings I saw. They helped one of the others waiting and then helped the 2nd person. I grew uncomfortable as I stood there and waited. Approximately 15 minutes went by and not one of the 2 gentlemen ever acknowledged my existence. At least one did make eye contact with me but that was all.

I started to go from being uncomfortable to growing angry. I checked my watch to see how long I had been standing there is my earlier happiness disappeared. No one said Hello, no one asked if they could help me, no one said thank you for waiting it will be just a few more minutes, no one said BOO. After 15 minutes of waiting, I left feeling almost embarrassed.

And as sad as this may seem, I was almost in tears. This jeweler's shop meant that much to me from my earlier happy memories that I now realized I was no longer welcome. I have no plans to even return to Stucki's Jewelers. And that is something I never thought I would ever say. Shame on you for letting me leave without saying Hello or even Good Bye :

Would not recommend. Brought my engagement ring to be sized larger. Was told I wouldn't even be able to tell when it was done. It is lopsided, the shank is much thinner - I paid $187 for this. Does not look like they added any gold to the shank. And it is too big. Very very disappointed, will never go back.

Shane was fantastic! His customer service is above and beyond. He made sure that both my rings were sized correctly and that they were done in a timely manner. Thank you so much Shane!

Took my ring which is a family heirloom in because the band had bent and then finally snapped. They had to redo basically the entire band to fix the gold and I am very impressed with the results. Perfect shape. Also good customer service, payment options, and very timely. Thanks!

I have been unhappy with the work they performed 3 times. They can't get the size right and after 3 times I'm done with them. I had them solder my rings which was uneven. After spending hundreds of dollars I'm not giving them more $ to make more mistakes.

We bought my wife's wedding band and had my wedding band resized at Stucki's and it was an incredible experience. Not only did they have a great selection for us to choose from, but the staff was very knowledgeable and extremely friendly while helping find what was right for us. You can tell they take a lot of pride in their service and aren't like other jewelers that have a hard sales mentality.

They also offer this unique and amazing cigar gift option in their store. They carry a variety of excellent cigars in their in-store humidor as well as different bourbon glasses that you can personalize and buy. What's great is that they package the whole gift up in a nice presentation and offer other essentials like cutters, lighters, even snacks to go with your cigars and bourbon.

I bought a nice set of cigars and personalized bourbon glasses for my groomsmen as their gifts and they came out great! Stucki's worked with me every step of the way to make sure the gift package for my groomsmen was exactly what I wanted. Even if you aren't in need of jewelry, the cigars gift section is definitely worth checking out.

Stucki Jewelers is a great find in Historic Downtown Grass Valley. The long running business with its Historic roots has a Modern look on jewelry. They always have the latest styles, nicest designs and amazing window displays that all show their cutting edge approach to Jewelry design. I have personally bought new pieces, had existing pieces repaired and had custom jewelry made.all of which I have been very pleased with! I wouldn't think of going anywhere else when they truly DO have it all.

Stucki's has always been a family favorite so it was no surprise I took my engagement ring there to get sized. They had my ring resized and sparkling in less than two days. Very helpful staff and all around good people.

I have to say I've never been a glitzy kind of gal. But when I lost the diamonds in my 30+ year old wedding ring and went to have them appraise the cost of replacement, WOW. Their professional staff were wonderful at helping me pick out the perfect choices. I hate to say that I've been back multiple times! Every time that I'm in town I stop by and they clean my rings for free! Great people!

My husband and I worked with Stucki jewelers to create two custom white gold wedding bands with diamonds in-laid to fit my engagement ring setting. We really enjoyed working with the jewelers here - they are always very friendly and knowledgeable. They engraved our wedding bands for FREE! They also assisted my husband in sizing and ordering his Tungsten Carbide wedding band.

The prices were reasonable for what we were wanting to have made for us and we couldn't be happier with my new super-unique bridal setting and my husband's beautiful, different wedding band.

I moved to this area 3 years ago, after settling in and exploring downtown I found this quaint store. The staff is always attentive, very informed, and the jeweler Mike has done several repairs for me. Make sure you go in and ask for a clean and sparkle, they will inspect your rings and do a quick clean and polish, no charge.
