Worked with Josh on a watch trade plus cash payment on my end. Tarrytown Jewelers made this a easy and painless process. They were fast to confirm receipt of my watch and wire transaction. Shipped the watch i purchased same day and received it the next day! They were the best out there in regards to the sale transaction. Highly recommend! A+++

Hey, Steve, and the rest of TJ, thank you for everything and dealing with me being a pain most of the times, lol. I knew Steve and TJ for a few years, I recently started developing a better relationship with Steve and TJ. Over the last few years, I had a few different Rolex's and I'm glad that you gave me a good price to get into my new (pre owned but new to me) Rolex!
Thank you guys for eveything! Steve is the man, very professional along with everybody there, all great people! if you need a nice Rolex, Patek Philippe, Audemars Piguet or any high end Swiss time piece, this is the perfect store for you and you need to visit them! Also great for gold/diamonds etc. highly recommended! Thanks again!

Ricki and Linda at this store are the BOMBS! Their professional goes unmatched. They did everything possible to put me at ease buying a watch site unseen over a very long distance. As soon as they received the wire transfer the watch was overnighted to me and it was exactly as represented and I am thrilled! This store was highly recommended in the Rolex forums and I know why.
They will be my first phone call whenever anyone in my family is going to purchase another watch. Please give them a chance if you are in the market, I know you will not be disappointed.

I wanted to share what amazing service I received via phone and email from Tarrytown Jewelers. I worked mainly with Monika but also Ricky (sorry if I'm misspelling). Both were incredibly patient, followed up every time they said they would, had a system so anyone knew the details of where I was in the process and provided me with a great offer. The experience was also no pressure or hassle. I am incredibly happy with the service and my watch and will be keeping Tarrytown Jewelers in mind for the future.

Absolutely exceptional buying experience from Tarrytown Jewelers. Steve is a true professional and VERY quick to reply to my emails with a detailed response and he took every call when I would call with a question. I was shopping for a Rolex YM for my 50th birthday and honestly was hesitant to make a such a large purchase online but Steve went above and beyond my expectations.
Watch arrived overnight as promised, date and time accurately set to MY timezone (nice touch) and in impeccable condition. Highly recommend them for any of your jewelry/watch needs.

Just purchased my first Rolex here. I was recommended by my cousin who has bought a few watches from them. Ricki was extremely professional with answering my questions. The owner Steve was extremely knowledgeable and went above & beyond with customer service. I could not be more happier with this purchase. I would highly recommend Tarrytown to anyone looking for their next watch!

My family and I have patronized Tarrytown Jewelers many times over the years. We've bought three rolexes there. I recently went there to get my Rolex repaired. Firstly, they took way more time repairing the watch than they said they would. Then, when I went to pick up my watch, I noticed there were three little hairs under the crystal of the watch on the face.
Even worse, they put on a badly chipped crystal back on my watch that wasn't my original crystal. I had to then leave the watch with them to fix this and the hairs on the face. Then when I called in to figure out when my watch would be ready a second time, I spoke with a female watch repair person who interrupted me multiple times and completely lacked professionalism and just plain decency and courtesy.
It was appalling, especially after she was the person who messed up my watch in the first place. When my watch was finally ready the second time, I was again treated rudely and received no apology for the hassle they caused. Suffice it to say, do not patronize Tarrytown Jewelers unless you want them to mess up your watch and then treat you badly. The treatment I received was so grotesquely unprofessional that honestly I can't help but think they were discriminating against me and my dad (we are Latinos).

POLITE & PROFESSIONAL : After numerous transactions at Tarrytown Jewelers, I can say without exception that this is a first class operation and a satisfying customer experience. Recently purchased a new Rolex Yachtmaster 40mm, rose gold, (126655) from Steve. Great watc! Not only were all aspects of the sale handled flawlessly, but also he and his staff made me feel like a valued client. Gregg, their jeweler, even insisted on removing a few hairline scratches on the oyster clasp before he would deliver it to me.
They have a wide range of the prestigious watch brands- Rolex, Patek, AP, and Vacheron- at very competitive pricing; and they have the difficult to get models, like Rolex sport steel, Royal Oak, Nautilus. I can enthusiastically recommend you visit them before your next luxury watch purchase.

I stopped in today. All I needed was for a watch back to be put back on (I replaced the battery myself). I would have paid. But I was met by an unpleasant woman who just said "We're not doing anything with watches right now". No "Could you possibly come back in an hour". No "I can do it if you would consider leaving it here". No "can you come back next week".
Just a snooty kind of disinterest in helping someone out. I found another Jeweler in Elmsford who was happy to take the grand total of 2 minutes that it took to put the back back on, and I gave him $5 for his time. I don't think you need to ask me if I'd be inclined to go back to Tarrytown Jewelers, especially having read in several other reviews here how rude they are.

I went in today to have my ring checked because the stone had a slight rattle only to be treated in a most condescending way. The woman told me that she could tighten it but that she couldn't guarantee that she would break the stone because "blue topaz is just quartz." It's not. I could tell that she thought my ring was simply not worth the effort. I went to another shop where I was treated kindly (not condescendingly) and they willingly tightened my ring for no charge.

I want to begin by thanking Ricki for all of her patience and kind help. They were able to arrange for me to pick my watch up in the city, when I opened my watch there was a hand written thank you note. I cannot overstate how important it is to me to feel like I am being taken care of when I am spending $1,000s on a luxury item. My 1999 Rolex 15210 literally looks like it is brand new.
They had set the time and date for me, offered an extended warranty, and gave me a wonderful box. I purchased the watch for hundreds less than I was able to find anywhere else. Again, I cannot overstate how happy I am. I will not look anywhere else when I am ready for my next watch. Call and ask for Ricki, she will take care of you. THANK YOU.

Worst Experience Ever! Watch Enthusiasts who has purchased time pieces globally. Never have I entered an establishment of any kind to conduct business and was Greeted by a Rude condescending Middle aged blond. Who knows nothing about watches. Her approach was Rude and abrasive I cant help but think Race had something to do with it. After being disrespected and told I dont even want the watch.
I couldnt believe that as a Human Being I would be treated in such a Manner. Steve the owner who was visible assisting other customers. Came over and tried to diffuse the situation. I informed him that his daughter wife or girlfriend lacks professionalism and is in need of a course in Etiquette. Steve could care less. Which shows exactly why I was treated with such disrespect.
Nevertheless I am thankful that the Staff ran me off. This establishment gets 1 star only because ZERO STARS is not possible. Buyer Beware. I was referred to this Establisment by a friend. Who had a different experience than myself. Be aware Tarrytown Jewelers is extremely over priced. They Lack Common Courtesy and Professionalism. Most of all they have No Respect for the customer.
Buyer Beware do your Research and find the watch of your dreams somewhere else where the prices are better and the service is conducted professionally. Again for a Great Experience go anywhere except This Place. Stay away From TarryTown Jewelers its the Worst. #WorstExperienceEver

Following our purchase of a fine made watch for my wife, we must recommend Nate to anyone seeking to purchase a quality watch as he was very efficient and on top of everything regarding our long distance purchase from central coast California. He truly cared for our desire to purchase the correct watch and was involved in every pertinent detail to be sure we had what we were searching for. Highly recommend.

Took my Rolex to 5 different places in the city and was not happy with their offers. The last one suggested I take it to Tarrytown. This is a far drive so we sent an email showing the watch. They offered more than all of the NYC places. We drove there half expecting for them to reneg or find some small imperfection and change the price but they did not. We had a check within 20 minutes of arriving. They were fair, honest and a pleasure to deal with!

You will struggle to find a more knowledgeable, friendly and professional staff in any jewelry store in NY. The staff is welcoming and a pleasure to deal with! I have been a customer (primarily buying watches) for some time and they earn my business and trust over and over. Every purchase I have with them is smooth and fair. They offer very competitive trade valuations and stock some beautiful timepieces and jewelry. Buy with confidence.

I tend to take Yelp reviews with a grain of salt because there are legitimate misunderstandings and sometimes the customer isn't right. Then I went to Tarrytown Jewelers. I walked in with a bunch of my late mother's jewelry. I said I was not ready to sell because I was visiting three stores to see who would give me the best price. I was clear that nobody would know anybody else's price- I wasn't going to use one to bargain against another.
Just tell me what you can pay. Jennifer looked over some of the stuff and gave me prices, which both she and I wrote down. A week later (gold is UP 1% but I wasn't going to quibble for more) I went back because they had the best prices on some of the pieces. Jennifer took the first of four pieces in the first batch and weighed it. Asked me what price she gave me a week ago.
I said how much did you come up with on the scale? She accused me of playing games (I said it's the same 'game' in reverse if she's asking me). I gave her the price and she agreed. On the next two pieces she was lower than last week. I said that's lower- she made some excuse that maybe last week she saw something she liked in the piece.
I said these are the prices you gave me- and you wrote them down. Do you want to find where you wrote them down? She said "Do you know how many estates I look at every day?" What's the point of writing things down if you don't refer to them when you need to? I said I came back here because of the prices you'd quoted me. She said you can't come back a week later and expect the same prices.
I said gold is UP (these are things whose value is pretty much just the price of gold). I asked why she wouldn't just offer the same prices she did last week and she told me how helpful she was to have spent time with me, looking at some of the pieces and telling me which were costume. She had looked at maybe a third of what I had. FYI the other two jewelry stores looked at EVERY piece I put in front of them- how long does it take to look at something and say no thanks? That's what everyone else did with some of the stuff.
She acted like she was doing me a favor- isn't buying jewelry part of their business? It's not like I was asking a friend to evaluate stuff for free. I went in there today expecting to sell about $2500 worth of gold jewelry and maybe another $500-$1000 worth of other pieces. Then she got really nasty with me, told me never to come back, and continued to argue with me as I left, when all I was doing was trying to explain I just wanted the same prices she'd offered last week.
If you can't trust someone to keep their word, don't do business with them. And to be nasty for no reason when you're dealing with someone whose mother has passed away?

Fanstastic service and experience! Called and spoke to Ricky about getting a bracelet sized for my wedding. She was very nice and told me to come in that day. She immediately helped me make my bracelet perfect for the big day. As I waited, I looked around and saw they had some beautiful jewelry and watches. She gave me the sizing as a wedding gift. Needless to say, she made my day! I will be back.

Know your prices and don't fall for the " this piece is really hard to get " nonsense. Paid less for a new Rolex at an authorized dealer than Tarrytown wanted for a pre-owned model of the same watch. Sales help was friendly enough, but I would definitely know my prices and market availability before striking a deal with this or any jeweler. Everyone likes to think their getting a great deal.stick with an authorized dealer. I believe you'll have less headaches in the end.

WARNING. If you have a piece of jewelry that needs repairs do not bring it to Tarrytown Jewelers. As a gift for a special life event, my husband gave me a vintage gold watch. It required sizing. Not only was it sized incorrectly but the employee's lack of skill (or caring) required 3 additional repairs to get the watch to be acceptable. Not great.
Not as promised originally. Acceptable. In addition the employee had the audacity to lie about the original discussion and intimate that I must have misunderstood her description of how the watch would look after it was sized. Hopefully time will heal the experience. A gift that was supposed to bring joy and fond memories is now tainted. AVOID Tarrytown Jewelers.
