I recently had an appointment at Govberg to adjust my watch band length to better fit my wrist. I was greeted at a beautiful store by kind staff members who checked in to make sure I was being assisted. Best yet, the adjustment was at no cost - thanks Daniel! The staff were knowledgeable professionals who's primary goal is to best serve your needs. Looking forward to coming back!

Had a really great experience today at Govberg. Had an appointment with Greg to discuss a Tudor watch I'm looking for. Also brought a couple of watches along that I need the bracelets adjusted on. I'm visiting from out of town and did not buy those watches at their fine shop but they were happy to help me with attentive professional service. Their shop is one of the most beautiful watch shops I've ever been to.

They are the friendliest Rolex AD's, I've had the pleasure of visiting oh, and they also carry several other high-end brands. It was a wonderful experience and I look forward to buying my next watch from them when they can get the exact model I am looking for. I would be happy to even make a trip from the west coast to visit the shop again.

Such an amazing experience at the center city location today- intended to drop of my wife's vintage bluesy for service since my past service experience with Govberg was phenomenal. Didn't realize that it was by appointment only however the security officer was very accommodating and professional- we were met by Natalie Goldberg to help us coordinate the service request, immediately her hospitality warmed us up and we were welcomed to browse the showroom without any sales pressure.

A few casual conversations later we were invited to try some pieces- to cut the story short we ended up with our his and her's Grand Seiko's! We had no intention to make any purchases but Natalie's personality sold us- we've had previous AD experiences in the past but I can assure you there are no sales sharks here at Govberg! Glad to have one of if not the best experience we've ever had- see you on our next purchase Natalie!

I had a wonderful experience purchasing my new Rolex from Govberg Jewelers. It was just a regular Friday and finished having Starbucks and lo and behold there's Govberg Jewelers and they're open. I call to see if there's any availability to look around for a watch and they were kind enough to make an appointment for me on the spot. I've been in the market for a pilot's watch and today just felt like the right day.

I was helped by Monica today. Right from the start she was very welcoming and knowledgeable about watches and shared the same enthusiasm as me, so we clicked very quickly. Tried on a couple Breitlings, but just wasn't in love. Monica did mention IWC and of course it's a brand I love and wanted, so she found a beautiful Le Petite Prince 43mm with a blue dial and leather strap.

It is perfect. She hit it out of the ballpark with this recommendation. She took her time to find out what I wanted and truly valued me as a customer. I really enjoyed the entire experience and will recommend to come to Govberg and speak with her for your next timepiece. I look forward to many more watch purchases with Monica myself. Monika is absolutely an amazing person! She made the experience of buying my first watch one that I will remember forever. The sales room is something to be awed at with amazing watches on display. Just brought my watch in for servicing in the Govberg Walnut Street location. Could not have been a more pleasant experience. I was helped by Gregory who was very knowledgeable not only about Rolex, but also took the time to show me some truly fantastic pieces after offering a drink. Unlike other watch stores people at Govberg, and particularly Gregory, really give the personalized service and attention to entry-level collectors that the industry has been lacking since demand has skyrocketed. If you want an all-in-one shop to build a relationship with, my advice would be start here!

Went in for a quick screw tightening. Eric saw me right away and helped me immediately! Best customer service! Also smells amazing in there. Best in the business!

Used their company through Watchbox previously but this was my first time coming in. I had no appointment but Natalie G was free and helped me out. She was very friendly and accommodating. Knowledgable on her watches and ultimately helped me pick out a BB58. Couldn't be happier with her and how Govberg carries themselves. Will be coming back to add onto my collection.

Three days back, I bought a pre-owned IWC Pilot Le Petite Prince using their Watchbox website (NYC area). Within thirty minutes, I had received my confirmation of sale, and notification of my Order having been sent to their Authenticator. Today at 12:25pm, FedEx delivered my watch to my AZ residence! Really fast service, and there were no surprises. A clean, no- problem purchase!

I needed help resizing the bracelet on a new watch and stopped by one morning. Greg Durham was cordial, quick, and did the job perfectly! I sincerely appreciated the care he took to ensure there were no scratches left on the bracelet or extra links. I've got my eye on a few watches and will definitely be back!

An amazing experience! My fiancee and I have found a new home for watches in Philadelphia. We were looking to find some special gifts for our wedding party, as well as gifts for one another. Natalie, our Govberg representative, was kind enough to make all of that happen for us, all in one morning! She was welcoming, knowledgeable, and obviously very resourceful.

She has been able to help make our wedding day even more special for the people we care about. We were also lucky enough to meet the general manager, Tyler. He was very kind, and truly seemed interested in establishing a lifelong relationship with us. Had a wonderful experience at Govberg. Booked an appointment with Erik W and he is very honest, knowledgeable explaining different types of luxury watches and gave a tour of their beautiful boutique. I expressed interest in one of the Rolex watches and he was able to get one for me very fast. I will be returning to Erik for my next watch and many more.

I worked with Gregory Durham on two purchases in the past month. Gregory's knowledge on the watches I was looking for as well as his ability to track down exactly what I wanted was invaluable. If you are looking for a watch, do yourself a favor and ask for Gregory when you stop in.

A long time Rolex fan over the past nine months I've been in communication with the store four times about acquiring a Rolex yacht master. Staff seem uninterested in helping and wanted to upsell me to a Watch brand I was not interested in. For collectors, finding a good watch dealer is about establishing a relationship. That did not happen at Govberg. Linkendorfer Jewlers in McLean Virginia took less than 12 weeks to get me my watch from the factory - and their customer service was impeccable.

As a Philadelphia in living in the DC area it seem to make sense to give Goldberg a chance but they seemed unworthy of it And their door guard really does seem quite thuggish. Linkendorfer for me.

I purchased my Breitling Super Avenger 2 from Jon Callahan while being here in Florida. He was a gentleman. Along with giving me an amazing price he shipped the watch over night through Fed Ex and even sent me an Appraisal on the watch with a Breitling Catalog. No local Breitling dealer here in florida came close to their price. I would recommend Jon to anyone looking for a luxury watch.

Had an appointment with Erik W. this afternoon to look over a few different pieces. Absolutely fantastic interaction and very knowledgeable of all the watches. I've never had to make an appointment to look over watches before but I immediately saw the value in it after going over a few. 1 on 1 without any rush is the way to go. I will be returning to see Erik on my next watch purchase.

This retail space is on par with what you'd expect from waking into. Caesar's Forum Shoppes in Las Vegas. Amazing store. An incredible new space on Walnut St. Big BIG thank you to Natalie for giving me the full tour, spending time with me and sharing her expertise. Fantastic customer experience. I highly recommend!

I made a last minute appointment online and was able to be seen in an expedited fashion (8-minutes after I booked). The website didn't book me a specific client advisor, so the store manager, Tyler, worked with me until another advisor was available. I worked with Erik. Trained in watchmaking, he was very knowledgeable about the brands, the intricacies of the different movements/complications, and I was able to make a decision without feeling any pressure or time constraint.

The model I was interested in was not available at the time, but I was reassured when the response was much more optimistic than from other Rolex ADs for the same watch. Fingers crossed that something becomes available soon! PS the new store looks fantastic!

I started collecting my first watch from Govberg since 2015. Today l bought my 5th watch for my watches collection and 10th total for my family members all from them. It's mine only go to rolex AD. For the past 6 years, I had been help by different salesperson, some had not work there anymore but all were very professional. I was been helped by Mrs. Natalie G. today.

She was excellent salesperson. I like her a lot. I will always referred Govberg to my family members and friends. It was pleasure experience every single time. I always felt like I was VIP client to them. They treated me and everyone with respect and dignity. They once even offered our family to a dinner treat. I'm so grateful I found Govberg and thanks my friend who introduced me to Govberg in the first place.

This dealer has tremendous turnover and it is impossible to build a relationship with them. I have purchased over a dozen high end watches there and they treat you like you just walked off the street. I have spent well over $100,000 with them over the last 5 years and the owners don't even answer emails. They are a very large dealer and they care less about customer service.

Even the simplest request requires many phone calls to get any answers. It's sad that high end luxury customers get treated like they are walking into Walmart. When you have cash in hand they love you but as soon as the deal is done you are forgotten. I am taking my future business to Tourneau and I expect a much better experience

Just want to give some insight on my dealings with Watchbox/Govberg Contrary to other negative reviews, Brian Govberg and his whole team are courteous, knowledgeable and get the deal done. Brian thank you for the great deals, effortless transactions and fast shipping in the Platinum Patek and AP I bought from you over the past few months. You guys are the best and deserve the business! Shoutout to Phil Maltese as well, awesome guy and amazing communication! Can't wait till the next deal.

This is a review that I thought long and hard over. In fact, I waited a few weeks to write the review. If you are a true watch person, then do not sell your watch to this company. I had an AP Royal Oak 15400 (white dial) that I wasn't wearing that much and I contacted them to see what they would offer. I contacted this organization because I love their YouTube content and wanted to give them an opportunity.

This is a VERY HOT watch right now. It goes for well over retail. Watch Box will not give you an offer in writing. A company sales representative contacted me and asked me what I was looking to get for the watch. I was born at night, but it wasn't last night. There was no chance I was going to throw out a number so he could say that it wasn't realistic and try to "anchor" me on a much lower number.

The sales representative said he would get back to me with a price. At the same time I was getting prices from a variety of different watch dealers. In a day or so he came back with a rather low price and said he would have offered me more if the watch were the blue dial variant (classic salesperson speak to make you think your watch isn't all that).

The exact same watch I offered Watch Box is listed today on their website for $31,900.00. The price they offered me built in a 39% margin on the resale of the watch. Amazon and Microsoft have 40% margins because they are tech companies that have a massive competitive advantage. That kind of margin on the resale of a watch is over the top. I let the sales representative know that I had multiple offers for more than his offer.

He said he would go back to his manager (car sales tactic) to see if he could get a better price. The next day he let me know he could match the other price. Match the price? Why would I sell the watch to him at the same price that someone else already offered me? Nevertheless, I sold the watch to another dealer at a final price that was 20% more than the Watch Box final offer. 20% may not seem like a big deal, but it ends up being a substantial amount of money on that watch. If you really need the money, then Watch Box will purchase the watch from you. On the other hand, you aren't getting close to the best price (in my opinion).

Last minute I needed an adjustment to my Rolex band. Wow - these guys are pros and suoer nice. if I didn't already have a beautiful watch I would've bought one from them just because. Thank you!

Purchased a watch through their online watchbox store. The salesman was kind, courteous, and promptly answered all of my questions regarding the watch. I will bring my business here in the future for pre-owned watches. Very awesome place. NOTE: it's worth "making an offer." They'll work with you on the price. The old art of negotiating plays true here.

It's very simple, Govberg (and The WatchBox, their affiliate) played the old bait and switch with me. After agreeing on a price for a watch, plus tax, they sent me an invoice that was, including tax, significantly more than it should have been. I got no satisfactory response from Jason and canceled. I have it all in writing, too, which makes it even stupider.

Make sure you scrutinize the bill *very* carefully before you buy from them, if you do at all. I wouldn't. *****UPDATED TO ADD***** I'm grateful to the response below because it illustrates the problem. What he's saying is that a company that moves millions of dollars of inventory doesn't have a calculator. If they did, they'd see that we're not talking about $50.

Watch collectors get into the hobby for a lot of reasons. But one thing we have in common: we're Type A about precision. The idea that a used watch dealer would be so sloppy with my money (I'm sure there's never any ambiguity about *their* money) bodes ill for the quality of the merchandise they sell.

These people are clowns. I am a watch collector and contacted Watchbox - a division of this company. I sent pics of a luxury timepiece and they were interested. Here was the problem: They don't give written quotes for watches. HUH? Phil Maltese sent me this email: "Unfortunately I am unable to give offers in writing." Uh, what are we doing then?

If you like my watch and you want to bring it into inventory you need to communicate an offer price. There are more professional dealers for watch collectors to deal with than Watchbox. UPDATE: Because I went to the Watchbox website, a Watchbox popup appears on my screen about every five minutes. SMFH. Watchbox is like Coronavirus.

My brothers and I bought 2 watches from this location 2 years ago. We spent over 7 grand so when my watch needed repair, I went to them. Hence, the disappointment begins. I dropped my watch off on 12/8 and was expecting to hear back 12/22 per invoice receipt. No one from the store call me to give any update and I gave them a few days before I would follow up since I understand the holidays can be hectic.

No one called me so I ended up calling them and the service manager told me that Breitling haven't gotten back to them and that they will call me back when Breitling contact them. Long story short, today is 2/7/20 and they still have my watch. My brothers and I are currently in market for watches and Govberg just lost 3 customers.

Govberg is the best in the business regarding service, quality of product and guarantee. Over the past three years I have purchased and traded several watches working with Justin Rix each time; his patience, knowledge and customer focused approach has kept me coming back. Recently I found myself chasing after a "good deal" on Chrono 24 with an alternate vendor out of Chicago.

Terrible experience, terrible service, poor product quality and no customer care to speak of. I immediately returned that product, contacted Justin at Govberg and purchased the IWC Big Pilot I had been looking for. Of course it was delivered on time and in perfect -like new- condition. Do your homework and shop around on line, then go to Govberg for the purchase. don't bother dealing with anyone else. I will be a lifetime customer.

Went in last weekend with my spouse looking for a particular watch. Met with a younger male, who spoke as if he was the owner (he is not)--repeatedly referred to himself (not the store, not the actual owner) as an "authorized dealer" of the particular watch brand we were looking for. Was incredibly cocky and arrogant, and stated that he only sources watches that are at least $50,000.00 (he did not know our budget, or ask). Would absolutely not return, nor recommend.

Seen this one a few times. Negotiate on a watch, can't come to terms, then get a message watch has been sold! Check back in a few days and same watch is still for sale. Good trick! Take business elsewhere. the watch you told me was sold at the asking price is still for sale! your company simply isnt trustworthy. shame on govberg

I bought my latest piece for the collection from WatchBox, which is the pre-owned watch arm of Govberg. Alex was totally professional, and provided an awesome customer experience, and personalized service. He went through everything with me from the watch's original purchase location and all its service records, to warranty information and a personalized fitting. Great service all around, and a trusted name in Philadelphia! Thank you!

TLDR: Clyde is rude, condescending, and arrogant. I never give 1 stars, but this warrants it. Came in with cash to buy a watch. I planned on buying the watch that day. I was greeted by Clyde who was quite kind while surrounded by his colleagues. We went upstairs to the preowned selection. Upon being out of earshot of the sales manager, Clyde was rude, condescending, and arrogant.

He said one price and was unwilling to budge. In an attempt to bargain, I said I was willing to pay a couple hundred dollars above market price for Govberg quality and warranty. He was immediately offended: "You know what I would tell you? Go buy your watch off eBay then". He arrogantly explained his stern pricing: "I am the top salesman here. I sell 10x the inventory of the Ardmore store in a month".

No customer wants to hear about your sales. He proceeded to excuse his poor behavior by saying: "I am an actuarial science graduate student at Temple. us math guys are a bit socially inept". I will be taking my business elsewhere.

I initially tried to sell a fine wristwatch on my EBay site with a bit of frustration. After the watch didn't sell ( I rejected a number of ridiculous offers) I was contacted by Josh at Govberg he offered a fair price for a trade in on a new Tudor Pelagos and we completed a deal. I had a few questions about the Tudor after purchase and the follow up service by Josh was outstanding If you are considering a trade I highly recommend that you contact Govberg Happy Holidays! Russ

In my opinion this is the best place to buy and sell watches in the country. I watch all of their streaming shows on youtube and learn a tremendous amount of knowledge from Tim Mosso, Josh Thanos and Brian Govberg. Excellent team of people that are best of industry. I have been using Josh for all my trading. It seems the entire staff is a collection of great people. JD

I am not sure which address I dealt with as I dealt with Andrew over the phone, searching for one of the holy grails of watches, the Omega Speed Master Moon (Brown) with the sapphire crystal sandwich (display back). Just received today (see photo). Andrew was fantastic to deal with, made me a great deal, had excellent communication and shipped the watch overnight for 10am delivery.

Everything arrived in the original box with all the documentation, warranty cards, and a nice card from Andrew and a free copy of International Watch Magazine (I thought that was a nice touch and a way to say "Thank you".as was the card. My watch was a pre-owned but basically brand new. I would only buy from an Omega AD (authorized dealer) which they are (confirmed on the Omega website). Don't think your getting a great deal on those watch websites.

Gray Market and easily swapped out mechanisms, you never know what you are getting. If it's this easy to get a great pre-owned from them, I'll be back for more. Great response, great communication, great customer service. I listed $$$$ because if your buying Omegas on up, you should plan on spending a few clams;-). I don't think they are overpriced at all compared to other luxury watch stores, so the "Price Range" is not really accurate for this review other than they have the $$$$ watches you are looking for.
