Well, this was a true learning experience. Handed my earring posts to owner for a simple job. Never saw them again! Goodbye handmade vintage platinum earring findings, with a heart design. Given to me by my husband after a family tragedy. Unbelievably I was told I didn't recognize them as they had been polished and cleaned. This has been a truly disappointing and frustrating experience.

I've dealt with jewelers for years, buying, selling and designing my own pieces. Never saw this coming and you simply CANNOT force someone to admit or return your item. I wasted 6 trips at least speaking with owners, now I will move on and try to renew my faith in others. Update. Nov. 2021. I am still thoughtful about this despicable situation. Please beware.

This store is amazing! Barb and the staff are so helpful, knowledgeable and accommodating. The prices are very affordable too. What we liked best was the honest homefelt feeling, very personalble and welcoming. No pressure sales just honest help. Thank you Stores like this are hard to find, its a must visit business!

I recently needed a ring sized down so I went into Strauss Jewelers to inquire about price and services. The people were very nice and friendly. The woman who waited on me was knowledgeable, patient and helpful. I liked the estimate so gave them a go ahead on the order. She said it would be ready in a week. Three days later I received a call that my ring was ready! It was perfect. And, again, the salesperson was very kind. They will definitely get my jewelry business in the future.

The wonderful ladies behind the counter helped me take some links out of my new watch band. They were so helpful and patient and didn't charge me anything! This shop is great and I'll be back for some jewelry sometime!

I've got to say this, Dan Wilson and Company at Strauss Jewelers are some of the nicest people I have ever met for watch repair, getting your rings cleaned, etc. I went in to get a battery replaced in one of my watches and when I asked him what I owed he told me don't worry about it. I told him, "Dan, one of these days you have to get some money out of me." Good old fashion customer service. Hard to come by these days. Thanks Dan and Company!

Had some vintage family jewelry looked at. Barbara deftly sorted the good jewelry from the not so good. It was great having an experienced eye do a cursory sort so I know which ones to get fully appraised.

Came in for an engagement ring, I was looking for something specific that I had seen online, Barb did a wonderful job of treating me like the most important client that they had looking up the ring I had seen online showing me how it would look if I ordered it then getting one similar but a ring that I would be much happier with. When it was time to set the stone again Barb rolled out the red carpet and went over options a found something that will truly last a lifetime. Incredible service

Still so frustrated! Early in pandemic, gave my beloved vintage platinum earring settings to one of the owners to have a simple job done. Unbelievability I never saw those settings again! Wasted many visits speaking to both owners, one of whom offered to make me new setting( doubt that vintage setting would be easy to replace. Especially if you say you've never seen it)and seemed lost to the idea they are responsible for losing.or keeping?

Something that meant a lot to me. Believing in honesty, this has been a challenge to accept. Even with an appraisal, this management could have cared less about me the customer and the emotional value those earrings meant, which I lost.

Wonderful experience here! Only jewelry repairs for me this time but great work and very friendly staff! I would recommend them for any jewelry repairs and they do it in the shop!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS JEWELER. My fiance and I shopped around for several weeks in search of the perfect jeweler to purchase a ring mounting/setting to have his family diamonds set into. It was tough to find the perfect ring setting AND meet our service needs all in one place, but we found it all at Strauss Jewelers. Buying an engagement ring is a big purchase, and I wouldn't trust leaving my diamonds with just anyone, but I trusted them.

The ring was completed 2 days ago; I was thrilled that it was completed nearly 2 weeks earlier than originally estimated, and the ring is absolutely PERFECT. We couldn't be more happy with this ring. Our experience here exceeded our expectations.

Wow these people are so good. They are so kind. They are a wonderful family owned business and they work incredibly hard to help with any of your jewelry needs. They took the strand of pearls that my mom had and my sister wore at her wedding, and they replaced the gold beads for silver ones and made the length perfect for my dress. What an absolutely perfect touch to my wedding day, and such a delicate hierloom that we could easily trust them with. And all in all it was such a short amount of time from dropping off the necklace to pickup! I will be taking my rings there for care from now on too.

These guys do great repairs quickly. I trust them with my most precious jewelry.

Strauss Jewelers has become over the years our go-to place for all things jewelry. They do their very best to help you with any sort of jewelry-related problem (watch band too big, dangly earring tangled, ring band cracked), and often do not charge you for the small tasks. They recently saved us hundreds of dollars by suggesting we use an old family gold band to replace the band of my husband's wedding ring which had worn down and cracked.

They did a superb job, and topped it off by buying the rest of the gold they did not use, so the entire replacement cost only $100. We were very, very pleased. Super nice people, beautiful store, and helpful to the max!
