May Jewelers is simply the best at what they do and a wonderful family business! Their customer service is warm, friendly and always very accommodating. The quality is always perfect and their jewelry is beautiful and unique. There is nothing they can't do. Our family has been purchasing jewelry from them for over 20 years and we have recommended many of our friends to them throughout the years.

Anyone we have recommended has the same positive words to say about May Jewelers. My engagement ring and wedding band from May Jewelers are over 10 years old and I can't think of another design I would rather have. Amazing quality, beautiful design and timeless. I still get compliments all the time.

May Jewelers is an incredible jewelers store with impeccable merchandise and customer service. My family and I have been going to them for nearly 3 decades, including when they were in Maryland. Everything we have purchased from them has held up incredibly well and they have always stood by their products. I just picked up an item they repaired for me for free after 2 decades of use. I've referred many friends and family members to them over the years and they share my experience. John and his staff are one of a kind.

Terrible customer service. Definitely not recommended! They behaved rudely and ignoring us and moved away when trying to ask about pricing details.

Very patient and informative with the entire process of helping me find exactly what I was looking for. While I walked in knowing more than your average customer they took the time to give me every bit of information even a novice would need for a large purchase. I didn't feel rushed or pressured and even with multiple visits I was always received with a smile and positive attitude from all employees.

I bought my stud earring 10 years ago here. And I come there every time I need some gift for myself, family & friends. Great customer service, a lot of beautiful selection and reasonable price. They can design anything you can think of, great designer team.

The guy at the reception desk is horrible. Any time I asked him a question he had a smart answer for it. While I was there a person called for general inquiry and he was SO rude! He constantly rolled his eyes while on call. He was really vocal about how he hated his job of locking and unlocking the doors for the potential clients. Speaking to his friend in a foreign language and saying things like "loco" for clients. Don't give your business to this shop they need to find someone who knows customer service.

Pick up your damn phone! I've been trying to reach them since past 3 days and they just won't pick up the phone! Very unprofessional and I'm going to go with a different jeweler.

The store has some good collections of jewelry. You will more often than not encounter a person named Jaime. He is the worst. The rating is wholly because of the experience after the encounter with him.

I recently purchase an engagement ring from May Jewelers, and I can't say enough good things about the overall experience. I visited a few different jewelers when I was trying to find the right diamond and setting, and all were very nice. However, May had by far the most personal feel, as well as the best price. Before I had even committed to buying from them, Anh helped me design the perfect setting for the stone.

My fiancee absolutely loved what we came up with. Since the purchase and the proposal, the experience has been much of the same wonderful service through the re-sizing and appraisal process. Anh in particular is an absolute pleasure to work with, but John and everyone else at the store was equally friendly and professional. I can't recommend this jeweler highly enough. we will be going back when it comes time to pick out our wedding bands.

My friends referred me to May Jewelers for my engagement ring and I couldn't have been happier. My now wife was very pleased with the custom design that Ahn made. I have been shopping at Mays for 10 years now and I've never had anything but impecible service. The staff is expedicious and friendly, they always have the customer in mind and thrive on having your return again and again. Upon arrival they greet you with your name just like family. Vincent knows how to ask the right questions to identify your needs.

He then presents his wares based on your requirements and discusses each of them in detail relating them back to your discussion. No need for obscene lighting in this place as the jewelry is high quality speaks for itself. Anytime Vincent can't find something to fit your needs, you can work with him to have it built and the jewelers behind the counter do an excellent job. I've had multiple custom pieces built and Vincent assures the quality of everything delivered. In regards to timliness, Vincent has never been late and is clear on when you can pick up. I walked into this location totally out of the blue as I was returning home from Tyson's II mall for Christmas shopping. I was helped by a gentleman named Vinh, and he was amazing. They didn't have the exact cross that I wanted, so they designed, created and delivered the perfect cross for me. My wife was ecstatic and it was an amazing Christmas as a result. I will definitely go back again.

Vincent was great to work with from start to finish, as a helped me upgrade my wife's engagement ring to a new setting for our tenth anniversary. My fiance and I got her engagement ring and our wedding bands from May Jewelers. I could not imagine a better experience and would implore anyone looking for their wedding rings to check out May Jewelers. Firstly, I didn't know much at all about diamonds and jewelry, but Anh took the time to educate me about the different ratings of diamonds and qualities of metals. Secondly, Anh did not try to upsell at all and gave her honest opinion.

For example: instead of suggesting the most expensive 24k gold for my wedding band, she explained that 18k would be better because it is not at soft and will hold up better over time. The same was true for the diamonds: instead of suggesting the most expensive diamond within my budget, Anh gently suggested the diamond she thought would look best in the ring my fiance and her mom had envisioned.

We visited the store on multiple occasions and everyone who helped us was knowledgeable and friendly. Lastly, Anh and the team at May worked with us to give us the best deal possible on the rings we chose and the final price tag was well below my top budget and the quality that we received for the price we paid was astonishing. The rings I was able to get for my fiance is one of the things I am proudest of being able to do this far in my life and I'm so grateful Anh and the whole team at May Jeweler's was able to make our dreams a reality.

May Jewelers is a wonderful jewelry store located in Vienna and is close proximity to Tyson's mall of a mile. Growing up in VA, visited this place many times with my family and also when buying exquisite jewelry pieces for special occasions. My wedding jewelry was most from here. Recently visited them and nothing has changed. They still provide the personalized attention and really listen with what you are looking for in jewelry pieces.

They are extremely accommodating with creating your vision. So for example, you like earrings that do not have a matching bracelet, they can design a bracelet with your liking etc. My fav-Their diamond pieces are beyond gorgeous with good quality in grade/clarity. I know whenever I buy a next jewelry piece, it will be from May Jewelers. Too bad it's not my birthday or anniversary month, I'll patiently wait until then. :

Anh and John were very thoughtful and incredibly helpful throughout the entire process. Anh must have answered a thousand of my questions and pinpointed a diamond that fit all of the criteria I was looking for at a very reasonable price without much negotiation at all. When it comes to larger purchases I'm very skeptical and never once questioned the honesty / integrity of the product or customer service. I really appreciate my experience here and my fiance absolutely loves the ring (see pics). We will definitely be customers for life, just as my family has been for years.

I feel as though they should treat every customer the same. Unfortunately if you look like your rich or talking about $20,000+ jewelery they treat you like royalty and give you all the attention. For us little people who do not have much money but would still like to purchase something maybe around $1000 they treat you like your garbage and poor they are racist and discriminate they do not treat you fairly.

I purchased an engagement ring online (sight unseen in-person, except through photos and videos) from May Jewelers, which was recommended to me from a friend who had purchased from there previously. Anh helped me select a great diamond and band that was within my price range and looked amazing when I got it! I was looking at less-than-flawless diamonds and was worried about buying one without seeing it in person first, but Anh assured me it was eye clean and gorgeous, and she was right on!

The band (halo, platinum) also ended up being a great value, even though I had been mostly focused on the actual diamond. When I went to get the ring independently appraised, the appraiser commented that the band looked very high quality. Buying diamonds online is super stressful (especially for less-than-flawless diamonds) and having somebody knowledgeable and honest like Anh in your corner was very helpful. It was a great experience and I would highly recommend May Jewelers!

Knowing my fiance and his ability to do an extensive amount of research, I was not surprised that he chose to Goliath May Jewelers and Vicky. I am very impressed with May Jewelers' service and inventory. The Tyson store has a very large selection of beautiful engagement rings and high-quality diamonds. The prices are very reasonable. The owner, John Phat Nguyen, is an honest and helpful person.

He patiently worked with me to find the diamond that fit my taste and budget and he answered all the questions that I had. He also gave me a copy of my GIA diamond certificate and let me compare the price to big diamond stores such as Blue Nile and Tiffany's. No one could compete on price and quality. The ring was perfect. I get many compliments about it every day. (See attached pictures) I am very satisfied with the value and service that John and his staff provided.

Friends.the wait is over. I'm the type of person who does about 3 weeks worth of research before I buy a set of towels, so you better believe I was doing my homework before I bought a diamond. Let's just say understanding the 4 C's barely scratched the surface of making me feel comfortable. I spent the better part of 8 months learning the entire diamond industry, how wholesaling and trading works, where cutting and sourcing is done, margins on every level from the miners to the retailers.

I visited multiple stores in DC, Maryland, and Virginia -- every reputable online retailer (James Allen, Ritani, Blue Nile) and I can say with certainty May Jewelers is the best VALUE. I can tell you that, their willingness to price match online can show you that, but if you're anything like me you won't believe that until you see it for yourself.

Value in the sense of not only the best price and highest quality -- but also in the sense of unparalleled customer service. I kid you not when I say Ahn and I exchanged over 50 emails going back and forth about different diamonds, prices, and GIA certificates. We (my parents and I) visited the store three separate occasions, twice we spent over 2 hours there.

Her and Vincent treated us like family, warmly welcoming us and displaying a level of patience I never thought possible. Doing so much research quickly leads to paralysis by analysis but Ahn gently guided me towards making the perfect choice. Bottom line: Ahn and Vincent are not sales people who will push you to make a quick decision. They genuinely care about your experience and understand how significant of a buying experience this is.

My Fiance and I are SO glad that we discovered May Jewelers thanks to the amazing reviews on Yelp. Yelpers did not disappoint! They are by far the best value and best prices that you will find in our area. The fiance went to several Jewelry stores in our area and even looked online at Blue Nile but never found a better deal or as beautiful of a diamond than he did at Mays.

We ended up ordering both the engagement ring and our wedding bands from them and Vicky was amazing through the entire process. My fiance ended up custom making my engagement ring right down to every detail of the setting and Vicky was informative, patient, knowledgeable and communicative every step of the way. He said it even came in way earlier than the estimate that he was given.

I am in LOVE with how it turned out and can't wait to wear it every day for the rest of my life! I am extremely picky when it comes to jewelry and I always ask TONS of questions. Despite my multiple trips to the store and emails to Vicky - she was always super friendly, patient, and professional.
