Bowers Jewelry, a family owned and operated business, has been growing each year since the doors opened in 1952. What began as a single showcase and workbench operation inside a small general store has grown into an expansive showroom with expert jewelers, designers, and a highly skilled professional staff. The original "Bowers Jewelers" store was opened in 1952 as a small counter and repair bench inside a general store in Huntington, Indiana. Ralph Bowers was the mastermind behind this new jewelry adventure, as he was forced to leave the railroad industry when polio took the use of his legs.

BENJAMIN BOWERS, Graduate Jeweler Gemologist and owner, functions as general manager and lead designer for the store. He graduated with honors from the Gemological Institute of America in 1991, as one of the youngest graduates to ever complete the series of classes to become Graduate Jeweler and Graduate Gemologist.
Our collection of beautiful pieces of Estate Jewelry are hand-selected preowned items of various age and style. We select them specifically for our estate collection because of their beauty, quality, and integrity of structure. The estate jewelry has been visually inspected and cleaned and polished individually and gives all evidence of lasting value and wearability.

My husband bought me a couple bracelets from there and within a month one had broken-they fixed it but said it would be the only time. Then again within 2 weeks it had broken again and has just been sitting ever since, then the other one broke. Pretty irritating that he spent what he did on them, and you guys won't even fix them when they break. Pretty bad business in my opinion, had I known that before he bought them we would've went elsewhere. I don't recommend this place and won't ever buy from them again.

I cannot say enough about the quality of the work Bower's Jewelry has done for me. They took stones from my mother's ring and created a beautiful new ring for my niece. They also made new links for a gold bracelet with sentimental value so I can wear it again. They are so friendly, personable and do excellent work all right there in the shop.

I cannot thank Bowers Jewelry enough! It has been a world class experience working with the staff. I purchased both my wife's engagement ring and wedding band from them. Although I made the purchase nearly a year ago, they were more than willing to send me an appraisal when requested. I also just received a Christmas gift from them in the mail. My wife's rings are holding up and we expect them to for many years to come. Not only do I feel great about making a quality purchase from a local business, but I know that the staff does not take my business for granted.

Amazing service and excellent craftmanship! took in my father's wedding ring that had been handed down to me and it was way too small. aged with an intricate design. not only did they add the gold to make it now fit but matched the aged intricate design flawlessly! So impressed and Gwynne Cotton took AMAZING care of both me and my wife! we will do all of our future business there and will recommend them to all! This is my all time favorite jewelry store! The people are so friendly and helpful. They aren't pushy trying to make a sale, they listen to what you are looking for and then offer recommendations based on what you said. They are patient and let you try on as many pieces as you'd like and offer their honest opinions. I love all the pieces I have gotten from here and have received so many compliments!
I recently moved but, still stop in the store whenever I am town because a girl can never have too much jewelry. As an added bonus they will also clean your jewelry when you stop in with no pressure to purchase anything in exchange.

Great customer service! I went to several other jewelry stores before going here and had a totally different experience. At Bowers I was able to pick out the ring of my dreams without feeling like they just wanted my money. They had a much better selection of engagement rings than the other stores and better prices.

I have bought a few pieces of jewelry from them and have had wedding rings polished a few times and always found the staff helpful and friendly. When my wife's engagement ring slipped into a running garbage disposal and was destroyed, they gave us amazing service and a beautifully reconstructed ring for a very fair price. I will be going back for any future jewelry related needs. Highly recommended.
