I have been here several times and the customer service is unprecedented. Especially my last visit. My brother-in-law, John Crowe, had been in the hospital for over 2 months after receiving a bone marrow transplant and was not doing well. On Thursday afternoon he made the decision to stop receiving treatment and wanted to go home so he could be there when he passed.

A few days before, he had asked my wife and I if we could get his lass ring repaired. It was missing the black onyx stone. He said wanted to give it to his wife of 25 years, whom he loved dearly, and ask her if she wanted to go steady with him. On Friday, the day after his decision, I took it to Hoosier Jewelry and was waited on by Tim. I briefly explained why I needed to have the ring repaired. Tim asked me how long he had and I let him know the doctor had said only 2-3 days.

As busy as they were with repairs, Tim found a black onyx that fit perfectly and immediately took it into the repair shop and had the ring repaired and cleaned while I waited. I was able to take the room back to the hospital, give it to him and he asked his wife if she would go steady with him. She of course said yes. Tim had also found me a nice chain so his wife was able to let him see her wearing the ring around her neck.

They were able to get him home that afternoon and he passed less than 24 hours later. Thanks to Tim, we were able to help John fulfill his wish. And for what he charged, I can't see how they even made any money. I will never buy jewelry anywhere else.

I dropped off a ring I inherited from my grandmother to be resized up and cleaned. The process was really quick, and everyone was incredibly helpful. The ring came back right on schedule and looks fantastic! I will definitely be going back to them for more jewelry needs!

The jewelry here is high quality and gorgeous but the customer service is what really shines! like nothing I've ever experienced in a jeweler. very attentive, educational and not even a hint of pushy salesperson. This is my personal experience: I brought in a necklace my grandfather gave my daughter that needed repaired and since it was her 18th bday we were going to replace the ratty looking chain and try and find a set of earrings to match, first the jeweler explained it was no ratty chain it was actually very good quality and simply needed cleaned which he proceeded to do for free, that chain came back out looking like a brand new piece! he was attentive to what we wanted in regards to a finding a Matching earring set ( the necklace was not previously purchased there) he pulled out catalogs and educated us on what would fit our needs then proceeded to order two sets we liked and told us there was no obligation to purchase either but that way when we picked up the repaired necklace we could decide which if either set we preferred seeing it in person.

We just picked up the necklace last night and chose the earrings we liked best and the jeweler packaged everything up in a beautiful gift bag with cleaning supplies so we were able to present her with the -better than new- repaired heirloom piece and a brand new set of matching earrings that same night. needless to say we will be shopping here from now on. I HIGHLY recommend stopping in even just to look at the gorgeous selection or ask questions without feeling any pressure whatsoever to purchase.

My Fiance purchased my engagement ring here. He stopped on a whim and did not see anything he liked in the case, or at least nothing that made him say that is it! So the person helping him said "let me go see what I have in back". I am not sure how many rings he brought out, but my fiance saw "the one". He was able to make payments on the ring and they seized it for him.

Now I have been wearing it for about a month and a half and felt it needed to be just a bit bigger. My fiance called and asked if I could come in to have it resized. They told him absolutely and remembered who he was. He was very impressed that they remembered. They told him I should have it back by Friday. When I arrived and said who I was, they were like ah your fiance just called. They took it back and had it size by a quarter size right then and there, no waiting. They also cleaned it for me! I cannot wait to do more business here. Thank you!
