After the passing of John Winstead, Ron Muffuletto continues to own and operate Jackson Jewelers as a full service jewelry store based on Christian values and the trust that can only be earned by having served the Jackson, MS metro area for more than 35 years.We pride ourselves on personal service as we educate and assist our customers at some of the most important times of their lives. The word carat derives from the word carob, a Mediterranean seed, which has an extremely consistent weight for measuring. Hoping to change my review, but for now 2 stars it is. I went in to get my wedding ring fixed. They were very courteous, very helpful, I reminded them that my stone is princess cut not circular, even showed them a picture. They called me when it was ready and when I came in it was circular cut. Now I have to wait another few days and drive another hour to pick it up. I chose this jeweler even though I live almost 40 minutes away because of good reviews. Probably won't be back.

Not impressed. Very Rude. I walked in to buy a pair of Diamond stud earrings; Paul, one of the owners assisted me. He pulled a pair out of the case for me to see and held it in his hand, he refused to let me hold them, because the "stones were so big". I'm not sure what he anticipated happening; but I was sitting down, maybe he profiled me and thought I was going to make a run for it lol.
I got up and left, the way that I felt in that moment made me not want to do business there. Who spends a substantial amount of money on diamonds that you cannot inspect? Maybe they try to pass of synthetic stones as real, and that's why they do not want customers taking a closer look. At any rate, I made my way to another local jeweler, where I was treated with respect. Graciously offered to hold and inspect the stones with a loupe to ensure my satisfaction. I would have loved to have bought $48,000 worth of jewelry from Jackson Jewelers, but I refuse to conduct business where I am profiled as a thief.

I recently bought a wedding set from Jackson Jewelers. I worked with both Ron (the dad) and Paul (the son). Both of them made the process so much easier than I thought it would be. They worked with me to create the most beautiful wedding set. My wife gets compliments literally everywhere she goes. They diligently worked to keep it within my budget and get her exactly what she wanted.
This is a family owned business that sincerely wants to take care of their customers. I found them because several people suggested them when they heard I was looking for a wedding ring. I'm glad they did. I'll definitely be referring other people to Jackson Jewelers. I suggest you at least visit the store and see for yourself. I couldn't be more pleased.

They are so friendly and they have always helped me in a timely and respectful manner. My wedding band and engagement ring were purchased at a different store unfortunately, but they resized it for me and my rings are currently at their shop being soldered right now! I told them I needed it by the weekend and they assured me they'd have me taken care of! I can not recommend them enough. They are so, so easy to work with!

I didn't even buy anything the first time in, but had some questions about my own jewelry, and they were so helpful and knowledgeable, without making me feel like a ditz, as I was embarrassed that I knew so little about the process. The staff is very helpful, I was able to to find a new wedding band for my wife with diamonds in it that perfectly matched up to her engagement ring. The sale for Valentine's day plus the lay away made the ring much more affordable than the nation wide jewelry stores. This place will always get my business.

My husband and I bought our wedding rings here. I loved their staff. They worked extra hard to find exactly the rings we wanted and within our tiny budget. They also were knowledgeable about my skin sensitivities and gave me great advice regarding stone and metal combinations. I would shop here again.
