Outstanding customer service. Wow! I went there today to sell my old wedding ring. The guy I talked to (maybe the owner?) was super knowledgeable and friendly. He took a look at my ring and very selflessly told me I could probably get more if I were to sell it to a private party. He weighed the ring, told me the brand and size and that it's 14 k white gold.

He told me the approximate value vs. what he would give me for it to just melt it down. Then, it gets better. He polished it all up for me and gave it to on what looked like thin parchment paper so no finger oils would get on it. He did all of this for me without getting anything in return (except for this review). It's selfless, awesome customer service like this that matters tremendously and that builds trust. I would recommend AK to anyone in the market for fine jewelry. In the future, if I'm in that market, I will definitely be taking my business there.

Very happy with the pricing and quality of repairs performed on my diamond engagement ring. The team was honest, helpful and courteous throughout the estimation and final pick up process. They made my ring look so beautiful after cleaning too. I hope to return to find a band/bands to accompany it someday.

My family and I have been going to AK Jewelers for over 40+ years. We have always loved the people who work there and all the jewelry we have purchased over the years. We even continue going there even after we moved to Oregon state. We either go there when we drive down, fly, order over the phone or send pieces to them when we need to clean, repair, appraise or purchase over the internet. We love them!

I picked this local jeweler based on good recommendations. I had them fix a piece that I have had for over two decades. They did not disappoint. When they were finished it looked brand new.

I've been on the search for a watch repair shop in the Sacramento area for the better part of a year. While they are primarily a jeweler, their watch service is phenomenal. Brought in an old watch for a battery change and had it swapped out in less than 10 minutes for a very reasonable price. They also buffed out a scratch on my omega speedmaster- for free! Incredibly and friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. I look forward to coming here in the future for any future watch needs.

AK Jewelers is an outstanding jewelry store. I went to them to purchase my fiance's engagement ring. The ring my fiance liked had to be custom made due to her small ring size, and AK Jewelers we're very helpful and called to inform me on its progress. Even though I was buying from out of state, I felt like I was always aware of what was happening.

The custom ring came out even better than the one it was based off of. They were priced very well, and I don't think I could have gotten that quality or service anywhere else for a better price. My fiance absolutely adores her ring, and we both love AK Jewelers.

Had the team at AK do appraisals on a diamond tennis bracelet and my wife's melded wedding set. They were great. Quick turnaround and during the process noticed a minor issue with one of the diamond prongs and fixed it. Really enjoyed talking with them and getting more educated about custom jewelry and how they operate. Highly recommend for a reasonable priced, non pushy, local jeweler.

I've been doing business with Art and Lydia for over 30 years now. From the days when they were on Folsom Blvd. and Art still worked the store until now. They've made me custom jewelry and repaired my broken jewelry, chains, etc. They've always been consistent in their quality. Not many people know this, but the big jewelry stores don't repair their own stuff.

They send it out to places like AK Jewelers to be fixed. Their kids are taking over the business now. But, Lydia still works the counter. I highly recommend them for custom jewelry or pre-made blanks that you fill in yourself.

AK Jeweler has been my go-to spot for jewelry and repair. They've always been able to fix and repair anything I've brought in. I recently went in and they were very helpful in picking out an excellent set of earrings for my girlfriend based off a vague description I gave them. Needless to say, I'll keep coming back.

I came to AK based on a friend's recommendation. I believed I had developed an allergy to my wedding ring and went to get rhodium plating. The owner took a long time giving me differential diagnoses and suggestions. He was very knowledgeable and thorough in his explanations. He showed my where there was some product buildup in the ring that could be causing the irritation.

I opted to clean and plate the ring. I was quoted 2 days, but it was ready the next day! For $35 my ring looked brand new again: the white gold was back to its original (non-yellowing) color, and the diamonds sparkled like I didn't remember they could! Best of all, I don't have a rash from wearing it anymore! I feel better educated about what may have (or will) caused the reaction, and my ring looks fantastic. I highly recommend this business!

I brought my grandmother's wedding ring set in to have the diamonds reset into a ring that I could wear daily. The wonderful ladies working at AK Jewelers were friendly and helped me design something that would be perfect for a more casual daily look. They were fast and reasonably priced. The final ring turned out amazing and brought me to tears. It's such a special piece of jewelry for me and I couldn't have asked for better customer service and workmanship. I highly recommend AK Jewelers! I'm sure I'll be back for more projects in the future.

What a fab first experience I just had here. I have a 3.3 ct cushion cut engagement ring and a silver Tiffany's wedding band that were in desperate need of a cleaning. I decided to pop in while on my way to Starbucks to see if a cleaning and polishing was something they offered. They did! I totally expected to drop the rings off and have to come back another day but to my delight the friendly ladies told me they would have my rings done in the time it took to get my coffee. Yay!

My rings look gorgeous and the best part, when I reached to grab my credit card to pay for the cleaning they said it was something they offer on the house. What?! Amazing! I will absolutely be back for my cleaning and polishing needs.

Six years later, they still take care & pride in our rings in cleaning and maintenance. We even drive from Auburn and tell everyone, it's THE only place we trust and want to do business with. You don't just buy things here, you really do build a relationship on trust & gratitude!

This is the jewelry store you are looking for. Phillip knows everything there is to know about the industry and he will get you EXACTLY what you want and do it for less money than you expect. Every other jewelry store I had been to (and, believe me, I tried a lot) felt like I was buying a used car from a sleazy dealer in a cheap suit. AK Jewelers was the exact opposite experience. I cannot recommend these jewelers enough. I can honestly say, without hyperbole, that they were everything I wanted plus a little extra.

Had a great experience at this place when shopping for an anniversary. I didn't really have a clear idea of what I wanted, but Victoria and Philip were awesome in helping me find the perfect pendant. It was a breeze as I was in and out in 20 min. Also, I had them do some custom stamping on it and they had it ready for me within 2 hours. Great customer service and a great selection.

I found this place, ironically, on Yelp. I brought in a ring that I wanted to add an attachment to. After careful inspection and an explanation on what was going to happen if I add a modification I had the work done. I was very impressed with the work, the customer service, and timelyness. When I left they cautioned me on how to handle my new piece of jewelry.

I snagged my ring. Took it back. They fixed it again, free of charge/questions. I picked my ring back up a couple days later. Again, great job and customer service. I would most definitely recommend this place.

This place is fantastic. They are really there to help you and not take your money. I came in just to see if I can have a ring cleaned and polished and they helped me without any ifs-ands-or-buts. Customer service is fantastic. I won't think twice about coming here. Update: Had my wife's wedding band custom made here. The quality of work is unmatched and at an affordable price.

This great little family business has been making beautiful jewelery since the 70's. Previously located on Folsom Blvd they have been at their Fair Oaks location for ten years or so. Lydia the mom is the store manager with daughter Victoria in sales while Phillip her son is the head Jeweler. The store carries your normal variety of chains, ear rings, rings, pendants etc but AK really shines when you need something special, something custom made. Phillip was taught by his father Arcadio and is a master jeweler.

He can pretty much design anything you can think of and do it at a reasonable price. I highly recommend this business for your jewelry needs and remember their prices are negotiable.
