My wife and I have shopped Jack's since we were on our honeymoon in 1988. Every year Jack and his lovely wife Sherri have a shop stocked with custom made jewelry in a price range for all tastes. Jack's specialty is tourmaline jewelry, the Maine state stone. A finer selection cannot be found anywhere. The personal service that they provide to their customers is rarely seen.

This year Jack and Sherri informed us that they will be retiring, deciding to spend more time with family, children and grandchildren. Selling for their final season, they're discounting prices to clear the store out. For quality and prices that Bar Harbor will never see again, shop Jack's Jewelry. We wish them the best in their well earned retirement. They will be missed.

Had a dispute on a piece of jewelry I purchased and we were treated very rudely by Jack. I've been buying jewelry for over 45 years and this was by far my worst experience.

Visiting Bar Harbor wanted to get our daughter a nice gift. Found that Tourmaline is found in Maine and thought a tourmaline necklace would be nice. We searched every jewelry store in the area and could not find anything. We finally came across Jack's and I am so happy we did. The selection is amazing and everything is so beautiful. They had plenty of choices in our price range. The owners are so nice and helpful. You know that it is important to them that you leave happy and with what you want and a price you feel good about.

Great little shop, very knowledgeable owners. However, quality of some products is not great. Bought a ring that was supposedly sterling silver but turned my finger green the next day. : Happened with my other friends who bought rings as well, and a bracelet. These were some of their less expensive merchandise so not indicative of everything they have. But just a warning.

I bought a beautiful ring thanks to Sherri. She is patient and helpful. They have a fantastic selection of rings and every color. I love the ring and got many compliments on it. Thank you so much for my wonderful memory of Bar Harbor Maine.
