When things got so busy that Herb and Bunny needed help on the sales floor, Dad stepped in, and the rest is history. They all worked together for many years. Received a bracelet as a gift several years ago. Wore it a few times and realized it was defective. Tried to exchange it or order a new one. Many excuses were made, including that I was too hard on it at my job. No satisfaction whatsoever. I still have the bracelet, in my jewelry box, only ever worn twice. Will never do business here, ever again.

I got my engagement ring and wedding bands from Hoover's! They expressed my wedding bands to get sized and soldered in a quick manner, always going above and beyond. Stacey and Linda were always super to work with in all aspects of the choosing/buying/maintaining process! They always greet us with a smile and always recognize us when we stop in. I took my late grandmother's ring in to have it sized and checked recently. Stacy helped identify some areas that needed to be repaired and she promised that it would look fabulous. True to her word, it absolutely looked beautiful. They kept me updated on progress and the work is top notch. I would highly recommend them for purchase or repair. They are so caring and just wonderful to work with!

My wife went in to look for a gold chain. An employee stated they don't stock them because they are too expensive. When she asked to see a catalog she was laughed at by a couple other employees. The employee stated "we have kids come in here all the time wanting gold chains and they just don't realize they can't afford them". My wife said she never felt so embarrassed in a store.

Purchased a bracelet from there several years ago with a "lifetime guarantee". It kept breaking after little wear. Took in sevreal times to have it fixed. I was informed that I was "too hard on it". I only wanted it fixed. I was told that I would have to pick a different bracelet from a catalog and pay the price difference. Was treated rudely everytime I went in. I will NEVER purchase a thing from there again.

5/5 for environment and staff - they went above and beyond for explaining to me what I was actually looking at which was super nice. 5/5 for value: not a junk jewelry place, and nice to see quality in the middle of Nebraska. The staff listened to what I was looking for, and were super respectful of my budget and I never felt pressured or "upsold" for more than what I laid out and now I have a super please bride!

I can't believe I am the first review because this is one of those places that leaves an impression. Went in with a budget and an idea and they took the time and care needed to make sure we found the perfect ring for my bride. They never pushed me outside of my budget and they took the time to explain what I was looking at. Great friendly staff and super cozy atmosphere. Great experience
