What a great place to buy jewelry. Went over to get my girlfriend a promise ring back in December had great service came back in June to look at an engagement ring had Gary Long himself's wait on us what service great atmosphere we will be back to get the wedding set what a great place.

I came in to look at men's wedding bands and to get a gold men's rope chain inspected that I bought from a friend to make sure it was authentic. Kim offered amazing customer service at the counter and Gary looked over my chain. Both were very friendly and just happy to help me. I will not hesitate to come here for any future jewelry purchase.

I have been looking for the right gift for my daughter for over 2 months. Within 15 minutes, I walked out with the perfect gift. If you want real quality go here. There is a selection for every budget. I could not be happier.

Took my sons 24k Gold chain in for repair and cleaning and Gary Long Jewelers did an excellent job. Great customer service and really fast turnaround time. Have bought many pieces from Gary in the past and the quality and service is unmatched!

Gary J Long's appears to be a reputable jewelry store and their selection looks top notch. However, I wouldn't advise anyone to take a watch there. They have no real interest in helping you. Even if you are the only customer in the store. Years ago I brought a watch in and inquired about a battery change and was shoved off to another shop that ended up damaging that watch.

They claim they don't have the tools to change batteries. Fair enough. Yesterday I returned because I trust real, privately owned stores, over mall chains. I simply needed a brand new Seiko sized. I had owned this watch less than a day and never wore it as it was too loose. I received help with the sizing only to find later that there are tool mark scratches on the links that were tampered with.

Furthermore the depth of the pins is not even with the stock setting. I can only hope they do not slip out and trash a watch I just spent $600 on. I know it's not a Patek or Rolex but that does not mean you should exercise less caution when handling my property. Maybe if I had a more enthusiastic customer experience I would return to buy jewelry for my girlfriend or mother. Ever think of that? Anyway, beautiful store. Embarrassing service. Just tell watch people to go away so that you can focus on the PGA channel. Cheers.

Absolutely in LOVE with my ring. My husband upgraded my engagement ring for our 5 year anniversary and Gary longs made all my dreams come true! Gary and his team are amazing and they work it very fast. I recently was looking to get my wedding rings resized and went to every other Jeweler that I could find in Stockton but they always told me that they had to ship it out and it would take 2 weeks to have completed and thats something I wasnt too comfortable with. I found Garys yelp page and read all the reviews and they did not disappoint!

I dropped my ring off on Saturday and was told I could pick it up Wednesday but they exceeded my expectations and called me Sunday morning saying I could pick it up! Gary and his team are now my go to jewlers! Now my ring fits perfect and looks amazing since they took the time to tighten and clean everything!

I just recently visited Longs jewelry for the first time! I was introduced to them from a good friend of mine who has taken all her jewelry there for many years! She refuses to go any where else! My friend had a couple of rings to be repaired so I brought a long a ring I had that needed to be repaired since she had the utmost respect for Gary and his entire staff!

Personally I was so impressed with the patience they had with my friend, even tho it was after closing hours they did not get pushy, trying to rush her out because it was closing time. As far as my ring they repaired it in record time called and told me it was ready. When I picked it up, I was so surprised how pretty and shined it was and the repair was not noticeably at all! Reasonable repair charge as well! I will be recommending them to anyone who needs to repair or purchase Jewelry!

New customer to Gary Long's about 3 months ago. Been married 8 months at that time, needed my wedding ring sized down. Here's a timeline of what happened: 1. Submitted ring for sizing down. Jeweler insisted full size down, against my suggestion at only a half size. 2. Picked up three days later. Ring now too small. Jeweler agreed to half size up for free, thankfully. 3. Picked up three days later.

Ring is now the correct size, however, so drastically distorted that my wife and I thought they had actually given me a different ring. Went back into the store and insisted they redo it. After stalling for about 20 minutes, they finally agreed. 4. Next day, picked up ring. Looks better, but still clearly patch job. Wife and I are devastated, as anyone who has had meaningful jewelry would be.

End result: Bold, high polish, white gold band with comfort fit is now a dull, hammered finish band with no comfort fit. I can tell they used the comfort fit gold on the inside of the ring to polish the outside to cover up the dents and crap. I now have a cheap looking wedding ring. Thanks, Gary and Co. Regards.

I thought this was a reputable business and I hoped Gary was an honest man. I was wrong on both counts. I brought Gary two engagement rings: my mother's and my grandmother's. (Both have passed.) I stupidly believed him when he low-balled their worth and offered me a ring in trade, which he was selling for $6500. In a moment I will regret for the rest of my life, I left my family's rings with this hustler and made the trade.

I showed the ring from Gary Long's to another jeweler; he told me he'd sell the ring for $2000. I feel absolutely sick at being so taken advantage of by a business owner whom I thought was reputable. All I can do is warn others: DO NOT SHOP HERE. GO ELSEWHERE.
