Chris and Jim are institutions in the Danville community. Their store is always immaculate and has gorgeous and unique jewelry. I've shopped there for 25 years and they continue to solve my problem of finding special gifts for loved ones on short notice. They are also known for custom work and one-off art/jewelry. I'll add that they have shown the ability to adjust to a budget as needed, which at times, is handy. Love Christe James!

Awesome awesome awesome, i called and asked if someone can come over and cut off a resident's ring in an assisted living community. within 5minutes, the owner showed up to our community and it was done. He was so very sweet and caring to the residents. I was very impressed and proud that there are still caring people in the world like Jim Edmund.

I love all of my beautiful jewelry from Christe James. My husband and I have purchased our wedding rings and my wedding band here and were very happy! We love this family run business! Amy, Jim and Chris are always extremely helpful, warm, friendly and professional. My husband loved the lounge area he got to hang out and have a beer while he was debating on his big purchase before he popped the question.very cool! Christe James is the best place for personal customer service. They helped my husband pick out my engagement ring and made sure it was exactly what he wanted for me. Then we returned to by his wedding ring and they were the same way, making sure we were satisfied with what we were purchasing. They are accommodating as well, when my diamond of engagement ring was loose they took it with no hesitation and fixed it.
They always clean our rings when we stop by. They are extremely kind. They make it a point to remember your name and story. I would recommend anyone who is looking to buy a ring (or any jewelry) to go to their store. I cannot say enough great things about their store!

What a beautiful and gracious store! Chris and Jim who run it are knowledgeable, smart, and fun people. Their inventory is tasteful, beautifully made, and well-displayed. If you're used to cluttery, old-fashioned jewelers or, worse still, seeing the stock at Costco or someplace, this place is going to be a revelation. One other truly great thing about Christe James: every year they produce Danville d'Elegance -- a fine car show to raise money for Parkinson's Research. It's an awesome event -- great cars, a cool silent auction, and a great community builder. This is an event not to miss!
