Fresno Coin Gallery Jewelry

I was ultimately disappointed. My wedding ring split after 40 years of wear, - needed to be fixed. I was directed to Fresno CGJ&L for repair service. I showed the broken gold band and after their review, I was told that they could resize it from a 10 to 11.5 and repair the break for $55. I was very pleased to hear this. I came back after a week and found a nicely polished and repaired ring. Perfect!

But 4 - 5 weeks later I notice that I again have a broken/split ring. I brought it in again and explained the situation. The salesperson brought the ring back to the repair for review. Upon her return, I was told that they don't weld repair but use a laser (not impressed), and the break was not from their previous repair! It was a totally new break!

I was puzzled that the salesperson found me to be that stupid. I explained that it was a most incredible coincidence that a ring remains in perfect order for 40 years and breaks. It is repaired, and then breaks again a month after being repaired. And apparently these two breaks are completely unrelated. The salesperson offered to charge me $40.00 to repair the 'new break.' I decided to give another jewelry repair vendor an opportunity.

Very strange. I took in a brand new unworn watch to see if they would be interested in purchasing it. They offered me $3500. Just 4 days later I was able to sell it for $12,500.you get what I'm saying? Very strange. The difference is just toooo much. Apparently they don't follow the high end watch market.luckily I do.

Super great experience! Walked in to see what they had and walked out with 2 great pieces of jewelry. A beautiful yellow gold and Diamond cross and a ring. The sales team was friendly and we worked with Clairesse - she was patient and non pushy. Super great staff and security too. It's a busy place and the location is not the best but you feel ok because of the security presence.

Even wrapped the gift in a beautiful bag and jewelry box with ribbon. That doesn't say "coin gallery " lol. They fixed the chain for me to make it shorter even that day As well. Awesome service and team! Cherry on top - got a complimentary gift of a box of delicious hand made caramel candies or a bottle of champagne. Thanks Clairesse!

This is not your typical 'pawn shop.' Their jewelers are experts at creating jewelry from various diamonds and gems; and fixing jewelry happens quickly with high quality. Cheryl is one of the best sales persons I've ever encountered. She gets to know your style and keeps you updated on pieces that come in that match that taste. You can't go wrong at Fresno Coin.

Very good experience. I've never sold old coins before so the lady was a total pro and walked me through the whole deal and I ended up with a minor education. Good stuff.

I made a purchase with Nicole and she was very helpful. Very detailed and patient with her descriptions and analysis. She knew I was inexperienced yet answered all my beginner questions with no hassle or attitude. I will return for future business. Years ago I went and sold them a ring.they were fair, I mean if they bought and sold stuff at the same price how would they be in business? -Pawn Stars, lol.

My family and myself have been doing business with Fresno coin gallery for years. Most people who buy gold coins do it because they do not trust the current monetary and governmental system. Fresno coin gallery will not allow you to conduct any business without a mask. They do not offer curbside service for people who do not want to put on a worthless face diaper.

I will no longer do business with this company because they have bought in to the government nonsensical mask requirements. Your better off buying on-line, lower premium and better quality coins.

I have done business several times over the past fifteen years. I went in to pay for some bullion using various denominations of cash. At first they said it wasn't a big deal. They counted and then mis counted my money in front of me 4 times. Then they took it in the back and had my money for at least 30 min. No one offered any explanation as to why it was taking so long. When I complained the completely bald guy about 40 years old said he didn't need me back if that was my attitude and came off as if he was doing me a huge favor. Jerks.

I had a ring that's a band broke after 25 years. I was told by a local jeweler it would cost about $1300 to fix. Fresno coin gallery did it for about $80. I understand profit by 1300 to 80. Fresno Coin gallery. Has my business.

No sign posted that says pay only cash, but they Conveniently have a ATM machine of course this is an extra charge. Total rip off.

They are lying to people about real jewelry being fake definitely would not recommend

I had a great time buying coins and currency here. The sales staff was very friendly and helpful. I purchased several items and will be back to purchase more on my next trip to Fresno. I don't much about jewelry but the they had a great selection of coins and currency some at very reasonable prices.

This place gave me the lowest amount ever for my precious items like silver and gold bracelet, necklace and earing. This place it a RIPPED off big time dont Waste your time or even the items your going to give up for mo ey cause it like you just give them your items for free to this pawnshop not worth it at all very disappointing

Stopped in to see if they did jewelry repair. They do! They inspected my wedding set and let me know I was in no jeopardy of any stones falling out. When they brought the ring back to the front counter where I was waiting, it had been cleaned for me! Looked new! They kept my hubby's wedding band to size it and said they'd let me know when it was ready to pick up. It was only a there a few days and I got word it was ready to pick up. Nice staff. Friendly, courteous, knowledgeable. They are following all social distancing protocols.

Love the fact that all the staff were wearing mask super Covid-19 complaint. As for the staff member helping me and my partner Tony Aguilar he was super friendly and super helpful. He took the measurements to take my necklace and pendant in to get it cleaned looked super great after. My partner had questions about buying silver coins and he was really informative with guiding her to get the best and right silver coins. Just all out great sales/customer service.

An amazing store full of friendly and knowledgeable staff who are always willing to help. They offer high end products at an amazing price. They have adjusted masterfully to the new Covid-19 circumstances to ensure a safe visit for customers. In addition to that they have a master class jeweler, James, who creates one of a kind jewelers masterpieces. Love this store

This place is the best. I sold my jewelry and Rosa waited on me. She was so sweet and accommodating. I made enough money to pay for my new flooring in my home. I definitely would recommend this business because they are fair and honest.

Wow, they were cleaning between every customer. The whole process was very nice. We had several pieces to get rid of. They took us into a side room and explained each piece as they went through them.

Went in with some old jewelry. I've not ever pawned anything before so I have no frame of reference. Friendly, secure and safe feeling. Two different buildings, one is the pawn shop and one is a gallery for sale goods- my wife pooped over there quickly but I only dealt with the pawn side. Security is very present, there is a little lounge area where you can get water and wait while they appraise your goods. If ever I need to pawn something else, I'll probably come here.

Customer service of the worst. I took a $1000 U.S dollars watch for pricing and the person helping said it was worth $17 U.S dollars on EBay they're scammers. It's ridiculous. DO NOT RECOMMEND!
