Was quoted at 2 weeks for a watch repair that took 2 months for my fathers citizen that he wore when he was my age and gave me. I was extremely nervous to trust this watch with anyone, but heard good things about Spencer's. I understand they had to wait on parts, but when I received no updates and have to call and get told someone else would reach out, and then they don't, or getting told they'd call the manufacturer and call me back, but then they don't It got pretty frustrating.

Maybe it's because I'm young that I wasn't taken seriously, I'm not sure. Had to get it shipped because I moved and they did waive the shipping fee when I asked. I still had to pay the full $185 though, which honestly only would have seemed fair if it was still within the time frame or a week or two after or EVEN follow ups we seen through when I was told. Two. Months.

Nothing could ever replace this watch. I just paid the $185 though because I lost a lot of trust and at this point just wanted to get it back and was not going to risk anything even if I did not find that fair. Watch does work though and they're cordial when you call which can be rare so - 2.5 stars. This was a rough experience, but it was mine so take it for what it's worth. Just happy I've got my fathers watch back in my hands again.

I had a half shank band put on a ring that belonged to my grandmother, and it came back in perfect condition. I am so happy with the work on my ring. I've had other rings sized here in the past and they are always perfect. I can't recommend Spencer's highly enough!

I think Spencer's Jewelers is the best jewelry store in Athens. Mr. and Mrs. Spencer know me by my first name when I walk in the store. Spencer's Jewelers is a family owned business and has been in Athens for as long as I can remember. I love their dog, whose name is Champ. 5 stars.

The Spencer's are true professionals, very knowledgeable and kind. Thank goodness, I have access to them as they can do repairs right in their store. 5 stars!

This is THE place you want to go. Family owned. So gracious and go all out to accommodate. Redesigned some heirloom earrings for me and I purchased my granddaughter's birthday ring for her 5th grade graduation. I wouldn't leave my jewelry with just anyone but here. Had one like this when I lived in Atlanta but had never found one here.

Excellent service. My fiancee and I came in and asked about resizing an engagement ring. Although the salesman thought it too risky to have the ring resized, he was very friendly and seemed to genuinely care about our problem. I would absolutely recommend.

I found out about Spencer's Jewelers through a co-worker. They helped me through the engagement ring shopping process. They made my wife's "vision" of a ring into reality. We have used them several times since then. Every time has been an enjoyable experience. The quality of the jewelry and price is unbelievable compared to the chain stores. Extremely friendly and helpful! I brought my broken watch in with small hopes of it being repairable. Within minutes they had it fixed, and I was on my way. Highly recommended!
