Caspian Tattoo & Body Piercing

I have only ever gotten tattooed at Caspian in the past. It's been a number of years since getting a tattoo. I would've loved to get a tattoo from them again, although after going in and being given an email to set up an appointment with an artist because he doesn't do consults apparently. Sent email and two weeks later I hadn't received a reply and it wasn't until a mutual friend of mine and the artists contacted him was I able to discuss (on a separate platform other then email) getting a tattoo from him.

I sent him all the ideas and told him to have some artistic freedom and make it his own on how to layout the sleeve and so forth. When I arrived for my appointment he came to the waiting room pulled up our conversation and said you want these pieces but in american traditional which told me he probably hadn't even looked at our thought about my tattoo or laying it out in the three-ish weeks between our conversation and my appointment.

Then I sat in the waiting room for a half hour passed my appointment time with zero communication. I left the shop and received a phone call 12 minutes later. So 42 minutes passed my appointment was I even a thought about getting service. Idk if that's normal at all shops and if so I just won't get anymore tattoos my time is valuable to me which is why we use appointment times to not waste our time or the artists time sitting around waiting.

I'm sure if I was 42 minutes late for my appointment I would've been moved passed. anyways hope the artists can enjoy some chipotle on my $35 deposit. 8 tattoos from Caspian tattoo and I'll never step foot back in that shop if they offered to pay me to tattoo me I wouldn't go. Hope this helps someone make an informed decision to get tattooed somewhere that would value your time maybe.

My oldest daughter and I went here for the first time. She wanted to see about a tattoo she wants to get done and get a price at the same time. Nice staff, nice place and good price.

Amazing work as always! Every tattoo I have has been done here & I will continue to return to them for all of the ones I get in the future.

Would not recommend Dos woods to do any tattoos for you. He is not professional at all took over 3 months for a consult, he gave a price agreed to price but never followed through with drawing for approval. Had to show up at shop just to talk to him because he wasn't replying to any emails. In person he would seem so interested in doing the tattoo and would promise to send drawing for approval, even scheduled the tattoo to be done put the session on both our calendars but still never got a drawing of my tattoo and when the schedule day came he said he didn't have me scheduled.

All he does is waste your time and string you along like my time isn't valuable. Other workers there know this is true as they (Cole and Nicole) have been kept informed of this every step of the process!

Got a double nose piercing. Willow was great! She made me feel super comfortable. If I ever get another piercing I'm going back to Willow.

I went in for a quote on a tattoo for my back in Old English letters. The designer for the tattoos was gone for the day and I was told I'd be getting an email with details of a design including the price. I never got anything in my email. It ain't hard to design something, maybe because they thought 4 in height was too big I was given an excuse just to get me out of there.

Absolutely amazing! Everyone was so friendly and awesome! I was super nervous to get my nose pierced for absolutely nothing! The gentleman who did my nose piercing was great! I believe his name was Dave! Thank you so much! Price was great also included the jewelry as well! I definitely recommend Caspians to do all my future piercings and definitely do tattoos!

If you are looking for someone who is going to give you an amazing tattoo & entertain you. all for the same price, look no further than Garrett. I took the time to do extensive research and traveled 4 hours to come let him do a watercolor tattoo on me and the result exceeded every expectation I had. Super laid back & accommodating, from music preferences (even if you choose Disney songs or Luke Combs) to keeping your mind off the tattoo with conversations about loving on gerbils. I can honestly say I'll never forget this tattoo experience and you should definitely check Garrett out & let him put some beautiful artwork on your body!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE CASPIANS! I have 8 tattoos 7 which I got there, (the other one I got at Kiss of Ink and that was awful) and they always do a FANTASTIC job. Very reasonable prices considering how clean and professional everything is. My tattoos always turn out looking exactly like I want, they make you feel super comfortable, and they answer as many questions as you have patiently, they are super quick and super efficient! Hands down the only place in Lynchburg I'd ever get a tattoo at! LOVE THEM

I have been here for multiple piercings and have never had a bad experience. The studio is very clean, and the staff is super helpful and nice. I would definitely recommend it for anyone looking to get a new piercing!

I'm in town exploring new places. Wanted to get a tattoo to commemorate the trip across country. While waiting for my consultation, a rather large male employee decided it would be wise to berate another employee (John) behind his back about John's political beliefs. Very unprofessional! Then, he started getting louder as the blue-haired girl running the cashier just smiled, as he decided to let his views about politics and the President be known, quite rudely I might add. Again, very unprofessional.

If I'd wanted to hear politics and the beliefs of an ignoramus, I could have just remained in my hotel room watching the news. I vote for a business with my hard-earned dollars, needless to say, I voted NO! I'm not giving my money to a business that hasn't got the sense to keep their mouth shut and just do their job. This guy should be fired, and re-educated in the ways of business.

I walked out and I was able to find another shop in town that did great work, the same day, did it cheaper, and knew enough to keep their mouth shut and just work. I'd suggest you do the same.

Walked in for a cartilage piercing and it was such an awesome experience. The man who helped me was so nice, friendly, informative, and funny which helped me from getting nervous! He was very clean, sterile, and quick. You could tell he is experienced. Definitely recommend!

One of the best tattoo shops I've been in. The studio is very clean. They offer a great selection of artist with all different styles. Customer service is good. My artist was very professional, creative and outgoing. I plan to come back and get work done in the future.

Can't complain about Zobel tattooing me. Done great work on my bio mech piece. Overall I think it's a solid shop. All artists have there style and are skillful. Prices are very fair also. I'd recommend coming here and figuring out what artist fits your type of ink you want. I wouldn't go anywhere else in Lynchburg

My friend and I went there tonight after making an appointment last night. First off, we were not told when we made our appointments that the tattoo artist that we were booked with only did black ink tattoos, despite the fact that you have to put down $35 to even book the appointment, not all of which goes to your tattoo. Then when we arrived tonight for our appointments with John he was quite rude to us and constantly talked to us like we were complete idiots and had no idea what we were talking about despite the fact that we both already have tattoos.

He then proceeded to tell me he couldn't even do what I want (even though I have talked to other tattoo artists and they have confirmed it can be done) so I lost my $35. My friend did wind up getting a tattoo and it was done well and quickly, but John did NOT make it an enjoyable experience and we will not being returning for another tattoo.

I've gotten a bunch of great work from Cody. Absolutely recommend him as an artist and also recommend Caspian as an establishment. Bottom line: Cody is an amazing artist and the staff of Caspian have always been very helpful and professional.

Rob is the best tatto artist. I live in Maryland and come to lynchburg to get my tatto done. My daughter was the first one he tatto then my sister and myself. We look forward to getting our tatto done anytime we in town

Do not get your belly button pierced here. They are very helpful and nice when you get it done but have no idea what the are doing. They pierced too much skin and a terrible infection grew, we came in and we were blamed and not treated well.

The only place I would go for a tattoo or piercing in Lynchburg! I got a tattoo from Rob a few months ago and it was beautiful. I still have to go in to get it retouched, but I expect that to be just as professional as the original tattoo. I recently went in to get my rook pierced. The piercing itself was wonderful. I was taken care of quickly and professionally and the entire experience was much less painful than I expected.

But I was informed just to clean my piercing with warm water, which I did for a few days. But, of course, my ear swelled up and was very painful, so I had to take to the internet to see that I should probably clean it with water and sea salt, which helped almost immediately. So, overall, a good experience!

Love this place, only place in lynchburg ill get a tattoo done. And almost all my piercings are from here. The prices are great for the quality of the tattoos.
