The most common reason for appraising your jewelry is to schedule insurance coverage. There are two very important elements of an appraisal for insurance: value and description. The replacement value provided in an appraisal sets the upper limit of insurance coverage while being a key part of determining the premium you pay.
A common misconception is that an appraisal is necessary in order to sell your jewelry. Most of the time, it isn't. Mary was extremely responsive, reliable, kind, and knowledgeable. She worked around my busy work schedule so we were able to meet at a convenient time for me. Upon meeting, she immediately told me her process and made sure all my questions were answered. She was very professional but she explained everything in layman's terms, which made me feel comfortable about leaving my precious rings with her.
Her response time and turnaround time were quick, and her report afterwards was incredibly thorough. I feel like I know everything about my rings now! For how outstanding she was, the cost of her services is very reasonable. I highly recommend her service to anyone looking for a jewelry appraisal!

I needed insurance on a new Rolex but didn't know who to use for an appraisal. When I asked around, everyone told me to go to Mary. Even my watchmaker said "I only use Mary". I took a tanzanite stone in for an appraisal. Mary Reich provided me with a very detailed report outlining the history of the stone in general, a market analysis, and a precise description of the stone. She explained all of the valuations through the different market levels. Mary Reich proved to be a professional expert in evaluating the value of my stone. Excellent service. Reasonable price.

Almost 30% more! As an accounting student at UNM, this does not go overlooked. Honesty, integrity, and fast appraising is what you will get if you go here and do business with Mary. While I waited for my jewelry to be looked over and analyzed, Mary was kind enough to teach me a few things about the age and style of my pieces.
