I stopped in to look for a wrist watch. They only have 3 watch brands. Rolex, the brand that is creating a short squeeze on the market. One Swiss quality brand which didn't have anything I was interested in. They also had a fashion brand of crap watches at real watch prices. I would only recommend this store to people looking for jewelry and engagement ring shoppers. This is not the place for wrist watch enthusiasts.

The best best best place for jewelry! Lucy is the most amazing person to work with. She designed my wedding band and I just went to try it on and it was perfect! Size, style, quality, etc. everything was perfect! She texted me along the way to give me all the updates. I never had to worry about a thing! Such a great process

Customer service is wonderful! We needed to have a new chain put on a pendant that had a small opening so a jeweler need to do it so we brought to Roman Jewelers and they did a beautiful job. We've been dealing with them for the whole 17 years of our marriage and we have a lot of great memories and pieces from them. I recommend you going to Roman Jewelers if you're looking for a forever price. They will always serve you right and cater to you're every need!

What a wonderful place! All of the associates were super welcoming and very helpful. I was having my ring resized and the jeweler was very accommodating in capturing the size that made me feel comfortable and secure. From the moment I walked in the door to the time I left, there was no shortage of lovely associates asking if I needed help. Everyone was very attentive and I will most certainly come back for any of my future jewelry needs. Highly recommend this establishment. They certainly know what they are doing.

I usually don't do reviews for places unless the service was exceptional. Lucy and Angela were such a huge help in finding me the right stone and setting that my fiance wanted and worked within my budget to make sure I stayed to my budget but also got a quality diamond. I would HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone trying to find the right engagement ring.

They were such a huge help, were so kind and also worked with me price range. They even gave a gift to the person who recommended me to their store. Highly recommend this place!

Exceptional service by all! We dealt with Gregg, my 17 year old engagement ring was damaged. She gave me so many options and it has now been lovingly repaired in keeping with the original design! The jeweller has done a wonderful job, it looks brand new

Roman Jewelers continues to surpass my expectations. (My husband and I purchased my original engagement ring from them back in the mid 90's.) So of coarse when it came time for that upgrade I knew I could not go anywhere else. From the moment I walked through their doors I was greeted with the warmest hello. The service I received was exactly what I expected from a luxury jeweler. Daniella was amazing even with my indecisiveness.

She was so patient and so kind. Lucy also stepped in at one point just to extend her expertise knowing I was a "Second Guesser". I left with an amazing purchase and look forward to my next visit. At Roman Jewelers you truly are family.

Roman Jewelers is just absolutely fabulous! From the moment you walk into the beautiful and meticulously kept showroom, you feel welcomed like a member of the family. All the staff are friendly, knowledgeable and just lovely to work with. Everyone is very accommodating and they go above and beyond to ensure you are happy with your purchase or repair.

The jewelry selection is just amazing and, ooohhh, that sparkle in the case is just mesmerizing! Their pieces are second to none. I've been a customer for over 20 years and would not buy my fine jewelry anywhere else, they are absolutely trustworthy in addition to being the best in the business!

Visited Roman Jewelers for a surprise gift for the missus. @Angela Vereb was a tremendous help in this challenging task (of finding the right gift). Angela was a pleasure to work with, very easy to talk to and develop a rapport quickly, patient, gracious and extremely helpful. She quickly grasped the requirements and rapidly showed us a piece that was EXACTLY right, checked all the boxes from my standpoint (fit-for-purpose, unique, and aesthetically pleasing). Angela was also very efficient in closing the transaction and ensuring I was on my way with the right gift and confident frame of mind that the item would be well received (which it 100% was).

Exactly why I remain a Roman Jeweler customer for the last 5 years since I first bought from them. Roman Jewelers.my go-to place for gifts and Angela, my go-to-person to help me find the exactly appropriate gift.

It my was birthday and my husband wanted to gift me solitaire earrings. I go in there I see 4-5 salespeople busy with clients. Ok so we waiting right near the display to be acknowledge. Approx 5 mins went by. We saw one salesperson in her 60's got done with a customer and then she looks right through us without acknowledging us. We looked at her to help us.

She looks at us and pretends to look around as if she didn't see us and then one young couple walks in and she does to them and helps them. It was like we were not needed there. It was so hurtful to not be acknowledged I don't know why they treat you like this. I had my daughter with me and it's sad for them to experience this. She asked me why they did that I don't know why. They are snobby and I wouldn't recommend them. The manager should ask her why she did this.

I can't say enough good things about Roman Jewelers! My boyfriend and I initially came in looking at engagement rings. We worked with Stephanie and she was kind and patient, showing us many rings and offering us opinions when we asked. We didn't feel pressured to buy at all. A few weeks later, I was given a family ring that needed some repair.

I went back to Stephanie and again she was so wonderful to work with, she really put my mother at ease about leaving the ring for repair. The ring came back looking absolutely gorgeous, I could not be happier with the work Roman Jewelers did to fix the band and prongs. My now-fiance and I just went back last weekend and worked with Stephanie again to order our wedding bands. It is a pleasure just being in the store, everyone is really lovely and Stephanie is a joy to work with! Thanks so much!

I'm not a huge Yelper, I really only write a review when I have a truly positive or negative experience (new profile with my e-mail here). This was an immensely positive experience and I have to really thank the staff of Roman Jewelers who were all wonderful but especially Edie. I was window shopping with my soon to be fiance which can be a little nerve wracking. I'd attempted to do the same at smaller stores with a general foot traffic in NYC just to get an idea and it usually ends up with a salesperson who's quick to engage/very intense which isn't the experience you want with such a large purchase.

At no point in the experience with Edie did I feel like this. She was attentive but not at all pushy, knowledgeable, focused on really finding a proper fit for my girlfriend's taste, really spent some time with us. At each almost perfect match, she made sure to get her input and make me aware of the price point, as well as bring out similar options below and slightly above, and go into the details of what set them apart from one another.

I was in sales for 8 years before my current profession and I am very aware of when I'm being sold or led. This was more a conversation with someone who seemed generally interested in helping us find what worked for us both taste wise and what worked for us financially. This is a very emotionally charged purchase, and Edie took the care to address that.

We were shopping for a sapphire centered halo oval cut ring in a navy, Edie found us the perfect band, told me she would have a few options for sapphires in a few days. I got the call and went back in few days later to select the sapphire. She had some beautiful options, and presented them to me not by price but to get my opinion on them on physical appearance alone.

I asked for a customization to the halo and she was able to get that done for me as well. I pulled the trigger and we're currently waiting for the ring to be crafted to our specs. This is a big moment in my life, and Edie treated it with as much importance as I am. Everyone at Roman is wonderful/professional but I would ask for Edie by name. When we start a family I'll be visiting her again for a maternity gift, maybe some matching earrings. Thank you so so much!

I highly recommend Dana at romans! She is an absolutely pleasure to work with. There is never any pressure and she will search for whatever item and budget you have if it's not in the store. The quality and workmanship is excellent!

I was in search for a Jewelry shop to get my ring cleaned when I moved to NJ. I remember going to store for free ring cleaning with "Yelp Check-In" almost 6 months ago. Staff there was very welcoming. They cleaned my ring & didn't pressure me into buying anything & had few suggestions also. I wasn't in mood to buy anything that day anyways but I loved how pressure-free the whole experience was.

I loved their excellent customer service with friendly staff & decided that day that this will be my Jewelry store for future purchases. I did return to store two weeks ago for ring cleaning & Marie helped me with it. I told her that I was looking for some earrings & She showed me few pieces. I was torn between two pieces & finally got the earrings that I loved- first piece she showed me. Marie is so sweet, friendly, knowledgeable and I had the best experience working with her.

I didn't feel pressured at all & it was comfortable experience. ON TOP OF THIS- I love my earrings. I will highly recommend this place for anyone in search for jewelry-their staff in top-Notch. Thank you Marie:)))

My husband took my simple, inexpensive Mickey Mouse watch (yeah, I know) to have a band I had purchased put on (didn't have the time or patience to do it myself). The band was a 14mm extra long band which I needed to fit my wrist without discomfort after carpal tunnel surgery. The jewelers did not use the band I provided telling my poor husband that it was the wrong size for the watch.

They replaced it with another band (amazingly, also a 14mm watch band) charging my husband $65.00 for the band and the service. Complaint #1 - the band provided and the band replaced were the same size. Complaint #2 - the band I provided was an extra long band while the replacement band was so small I doubt it could have fit a 12-year-old. Complaint #3 - It's not rocket science to compare the two bands and, at least, ask if the larger size was needed.

Just good customer service. Complaint #4 - Roman's charged $25 for the band which is easily identified on Amazon for $15. Complaint #5 - So, with the band costing $25, that means that the charge to actually change the band was $40. $40 for what amounts to 5 minutes worth of work? Really? I had to tell my poor husband (who was just doing me a favor) that he was taken to the cleaners. Roman's kept my original band so for the time being my little Mickey Mouse watch remains unwearable. Am reordering my original $15 band and will take the time to do it myself. Caveat Emtor!

Service was mixed and left a bad taste in our mouths. I don't want to go back. We went in to have a piece of jewelry that we had bought online appraised before the end of the complimentary return period. We were willing to pay for the service, but the independent appraiser was not in. The woman who initially helped us was very nice and told us that she and the manager, who was a gemologist, could take a look for us.

The manager, however, was brousque and condescending. When she came out to take a look at the jewelry and its certification, she trashed the rating system upon which its certification was based, implying that jewelry rated under that system, IGI, was worthless. She then saw in the certification report that the jewelry had a lab-created diamond and smugly stated, "so, it's not a real diamond, " betraying both a dismissive attitude towards a potential customer's jewelry choices and a lack of understanding about lab-created jewelry.

Finally she declared that she was going to have the stone steam-cleaned so she could inspect it better and when my fiancee told her that the other woman had already done that, she paused, rolled her eyes, and snidely emphasized that SHE was going to clean it, as if he was being intentionally difficult instead of trying to communicate information. The experience affirms our decision to bypass the brick and mortar jewelry store for our purchase. No rude salespeople to deal with.

My sister has been shopping at Roman Jewelers for years and recommended I go when I told her I needed to buy a nice watch for my boyfriend. The 45 minute drive was extremely worth it! The sales woman who helped me was very patient with me and showed me all of the different watches that were available. I was very pleased with the service and was happy I got myself an Alex and Ani bracelet as well! I can't wait to give my boyfriend the watch for Christmas. He'll love it! I recently went to Roman jewelers to look at anniversary bands. Edie was recommended to me and I am so glad she was! She was so great to work with. Edie helped me pick out an anniversary band that went perfectly with my wedding and engagement rings. Everyone working was very friendly and the store is beautiful. With the holidays coming up, I highly recommend Roman Jewelers for gifts for that special someone!

I usually don't write reviews but my experience at Bridgewater Roman Jewelers this past weekend was worth to share with others. I felt like a Julia Robers from the movie "Pretty woman" who stopped at the wrong store for shopping. The moment me and my sis walked in there was this silence and a stare from all sales reps sending us the signals that we probably shouldn't be shopping here.

We just came to resize the ring, but the attitude was so wrong that wanted to leave the store as soon as possible. The only nice person seemed to be a doorman/security guy. They do have a nice collection of designer jewelry, but I would never think of going back there to shop.

I've become a loyal customer of Roman's Jewelers over the past few years because their service and quality of merchandise is the best in Central NJ. Over the years this has been my go-to store for birthday and anniversary gifts. On more than one occasion I would go into their store with a vague idea what I wanted. The sales staff - Jen and Dana would take their time showing me a variety of different options. What's great is that they keep photos and a record of your purchase history so they can better help you with gift ideas!

They are friendly and knowledgeable. Now that they have moved out of the mall into their beautiful stand alone building the selection is even better. Recently I bought my wife a ring that I thought was perfect for her. but as it turns out she is moving away from yellow gold, preferring white gold or platinum. Oh well, it's great to know that Roman's had no problem with my wife coming in the following week to exchange it for something else.

She picked out a Classic Sapphire ring with a platinum band. Happy Wife, Happy Life! Insider tip - give them your email address and you will get notified of events that will save you money and you'll see items not commonly found anywhere else. recently they had a Hearts on Fire Event that was over the top. I love this place for their SERVICE and QUALITY. If you're looking for cheap stuff you're better off going to one of the chain stores in the mall.

Beautiful new location. Went in to look at the Alex and Ani bracelets. I was given my first one recently as a gift, and love it! Well, they didn't have exactly the one 'Celtic' that I was looking for, but they did have another I wanted to see and thought was lovely. The gal that helped me, however, did not want to go into the case to take it off a sleeve full of bracelets.

She pulled out a box behind the counter with a gold bracelet and kept saying she would get the silver one "if I really wanted it". I made a comment on how she seemed reluctant, after several gentle comments that I wanted to see the silver one, and then gave up. I tried another silver one on, then left and went across the street to buy my bracelet at Bloomies. Business must be 'good' for them to be so reluctant. Was rather put off by the whole experience.

Bought my wife's engagement band and wedding band here 9+ years ago. The stone I purchased from a dealer. Overall, very pleased with their service. Even to this day, when we are in the mall, my wife stops in and they clean the rings at no charge. We are not big jewelry people, but if we ever need anything, this is where I will go back to.

Loved Roman Jewelers! Lucy and the staff were incredibly helpful to my husband and I with my engagement and wedding bands. They went out of their way to make sure the whole process was seamless and that I had the unique, custom ring I was looking for. They can make anything happen and are great at understanding a customer's needs and translating it into an amazing design. They're also not pushy about selling and very personable. I get compliments on my ring everyday and will definitely be back for more jewelry!

Please be beware of this store - I had a really bad experience here. Bad quality of jewelry and bad service. My fiance bought my ring from this store and I absolutely loved it. It was, after all, a beautiful ring. Months later I noticed that it had a chip in the corner of the stone! I was so sad, but my mother assured me that it would be okay, that these things happen- and that the jewelry store would take care of me.

Her diamond actually chipped as well (25 years ago), And her jewelery store was so embarrassed that they had sold her such a diamond that they replaced it right away and continuously apologized. This was not the case at Roman jewelers. I came asking for help but the sales person was so snobby towards me. Maybe I wasn't a high enough paying customer but she just accused me of mishandling the ring and treated me very poorly.

I told her it is not wise to accuse us, but she would not apologize. They did replace the ring for free, but I will never go back to this store again. Just be careful, these situations are hurtful and if you are going to spend a lot of money, you will want to be sure that the service you get is good. I would not recommend Roman Jewelers.
