The J Oliver's brick and mortar store served the central Arkansas community for over 12 years. Prior to Mr. Benton's retail location, he spent over 15 years as a wholesale jewelry salesman traveling thousands of miles per year cementing professional relationships with jewelry store owners throughout the South.

If you are cleaning jewelry over a sink be sure to plug the drain as to not lose your jewelry. It is best to have a jeweler clean jewelry as they will also inspect that all prongs, clasps, etc are in place. Avoid things such as toothpaste, vinegar, aluminum, etc as it is abrasive and can damage the jewelry especially if it is silver and not completely sterling silver. Use warm (not hot) soapy water and a new, baby-sized, soft-bristled toothbrush to clean small crevices Infest in a jewelry cleaner to use at home.
The custom jewelry process can vary depending on each client's needs. Some pieces can be created in a short amount of time while others, such as our intrigue pieces, can take longer. The best way to know how long it will take for your custom jewelry to be completed is to speak with Tim. He can take your needs into consideration and help you decide what type of custom piece will work best and how much time it will take to create your desired piece.The wonderful thing about custom jewelry is that the cost can often be determined by your pre-set budget.

Had the best experience with J Olivers. The owners are so friendly and knowledgeable. My husband and I went to another jeweler first for our wedding bands and they said they would call us in a couple of days with pricing info. We never heard from them again. We went to J Olivers and they knew exactly what we wanted, gave us a timeframe and prices and followed through on everything exactly when they said they would. Every time we walked through the door they remembered who we were. We will be going to only them from now on!

What a wonderful and fun experience! Tim did a fantastic job designing just the ring I wanted. I told him what I was thinking; what I liked and didn't; showed him some pictures; picked out some things in his inventory they were my "style"; and he created a ring design right before my eyes! A tweak here and there and we had our ring! Tim and John made us feel super comfortable through the whole process. Thanks so much. I can't wait to do another piece. I can't say enough good things about this place! I went and customize an engagement ring that turned into a memory of mine that I will never forget. These guys took the time to not only make me feel like I'm buying the biggest diamond in the store but made me feel welcomed, at ease and more than anything appreciated. If your in the market for a ring for your special someone I suggest going no where else! I promise they will deliver anything and everything you want to your exact needs while making it such a memorable experience! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Visited today to purchase a couple of watch batteries. John had what I needed in stock and offered to install them, but I didn't have my watch with me. Very friendly person and although I only spent $10, he treated me like I was buying $10K worth of jewelry. I will be back to have some custom jewelry made.

If I could rate this business a zero, I would I'll explain since it's only fair. Years ago I needed to sell some 14 karat and 10 karat gold went here because best prices well the owner and my fiance was talking and then next thing I know the gentleman weighs out the gold put two prices on a piece of paper handed me a lil over $100 when he wrote down $400 himself I kept looking confused as I was looking down bewildered at the money n was walking toward the door I opened the door put one foot out and then turned immediately and said to the blonde gentleman who I think is the owner excuse me sir I think you only paid me for the 10 karat I see where you did not pay me for the 14 karat and that was even more money and he said quote once you step one foot out the door our transaction is done.
Well just because I wasn't there to buy jewelry but just to sell my gold I guess I wasn't an important customer. it hasn't set well with me all these years and I felt compelled to at least post what happened to me and hopefully you'll take this in consideration before you deal with a business that to me does not seem that honest
