I can't thank the owners and team enough. Every time I have gone in there I have had the best customer experience. Not to mention their inventory is awesome! They have so many different furs and pelts to choose from. Their artisan crafts are beautiful and unique. Thank y'all for this GORGEOUS fur coat I can confidently wear going into Fur Rondy. Love it! Exquisite work!

Coolest place ever! I never knew we had so many mini-museums in town! This one greets you right inside the door with all kinds of indigenous torsos above your head, so amazing, then you walk into a wonderland of native and local art wares which leads you around naturally to the furs, jackets, and eventually pelts. Some of the most gorgeous things I've ever seen and definitely felt . There's something about fur, or petting fur that is good for the soul.

Drove an hour to look at antler that is listed on their website for $8-$12lb. Get there and it was priced much more per pound than what they advertise ($30-$38lb for the junk antler). As a life long Alaskan, Yes, we know what quality antler goes for. Then we are told prices are subject to change when their antler page does not state that. All that aside they didn't even attempt to make it right.

I love this store! Their products are so unique and beautiful, and I treasure the jewelry, fossils, carvings, and all the native Alaskan items I have gotten there over the years. Of course this is our first stop when we go to Anchorage, but I have also made purchases by calling the shop and having my items shipped. Always friendly staff to help select just the right thing even over the phone, always quick shipping, and I always love what I receive! I highly recommend Alaska Fur Exchange.
