Jen, Adrienne, and the team at Greenwich St. Jewelers were so helpful, knowledgeable, and patient throughout the process of picking out our engagement ring and diamond. Customer service is exceptional and communication was very quick and efficient. I would highly encourage everyone to make and appointment to go in and try different rings- Jen was so helpful in showing us a selection of rings based on what I liked and we ended up with an Erika Winters Laurel cathedral setting and couldn't be any happier with it.

Molly at G St was so exceptional - from the initial interview to ascertain what kind of ring we wanted, to collecting a variety of stone options, to helping us create a custom ring. We felt like part of the G St family - that they were as excited for our ring and engagement as we were. We couldn't be more thankful for all of the little details from champagne at the appointment to following up to let us know how the ring design was coming along.

Honestly. I love both the rings I bought bought from this amazing, sister-owned store. It's frustrating because when I wear one, I feel like I'm cheating on the other. Greenwich St Jewelers replaced one missing and one cracked side stone on my engagement ring. I was able to send a photo of what I wanted. The jeweler and designer were able to replicate it. I am so happy with the final result. I found Dana to be professional and lovely. First off, I would highly recommend Greenwich St. Jewelers. I went there to buy an engagement ring and Dana was the best. Dana is super friendly and helped me through the process. She thoroughly explained all the aspect that make a quality diamond, and helped me pick out an amazing one. I never felt pressured to buy a ring the day I made my appointment.

It was such a pleasure working with the team at G. Street Jewelers. The quality and the customer service doesn't get better. My custom ring is beautiful. Molly helped me take apart and rebuild my wedding band (another jeweler created a design I hadn't approved, another one bonded my wedding/engagement rings without asking me. diamonds from the band fell out shortly after). Molly kept me in the loop every step of the way! I recently picked up my rings and they are PERFECT. I will never go to another jeweler again. I can't wait to see their new space and work with them for years to come.

When my partner and I started our search for jewelers - we were having a tough time finding LGBTQ friendly places. Greenwich st jewelers was the only one we found. We looked around at a few more places and came right back to here. Everyone is super friendly and knowledgeable. Dana was helping us and she was delightful. We felt super welcome and on our 2nd visit there - there was another LGBT couple there as well. If you're looking for a ring - this is the place to go. We are beyond happy with our experience and our rings!

Always with interesting designers and unique stones. They have simple and extravagant styles and everything in between. I've seen the wedding and engagement rings and they look nice (but no reason for me to browse). Lastly, the sales team is super-friendly and not high-pressure.

I loved my time at Greenwich St! Dana was super patient and never pushy, and really willing to play, letting us try on whatever we wanted to see. Super knowledgeable too - she could tell us every stone and maker of every piece and why it was interesting or unique. Their in-house collections are as fabulous as their designer stuff, and I was happy to hear that Dana had designed some of the pieces herself that I liked.

Very cool that everyone who works here has a hand in not just selling the jewelry but making it too. Dana followed up via email with the tracking number of my purchase and I really appreciated the personal touches in her customer service! I'll definitely be returning next time I'm in town. They got busy as we were leaving on a Friday late afternoon, so I'd definitely recommend making an appointment if you're planning to come at the end of the workday.

I had a great experience working with Greenwich St. Jewelers on an engagement ring for my now fiance (so you can tell the ring worked :). Right from the start, ethical stones and metals were of the utmost importance to me. That's why I zeroed in on GSJ. They were also given a vote of confidence from a ring consultant I had enlisted to help. Dana was my guide throughout the process.

She was friendly and patient, and didn't pressure me when I had about a MILLION questions. She sought out just what I specified I wanted, and then came back to me with something even better when it became available! The quality of the finished ring is outstanding, and I can rest assured knowing it came from a reputable, local establishment full of people who know what they're doing and who genuinely care about delivering ethical jewelry. Again, I have to thank Dana for her patience.

This is a review for a custom engagement ring made at GSJ, using my fiance's heirloom diamond. The ring took about six weeks using their in house goldsmith. When I received it, it looked rushed, unpolished, prongs off-center, two prongs not fully touching the stone, poorly engraved, and something clearly off about the proportions and the design.

It was sent back once to be touched up and came back worse. It also didn't fit correctly, and their advice was to wait for a weather change. We had chosen this store as they have posts and examples of nice custom jewelry, but our ring fell through the cracks. Greatly regret trusting this store, as it took away from a special moment.

There is lighthearted delight in the exchange of goods. Especially something as fun as jewelry. I love to seek out jewelers who carry my favorite designer's items. I have even taken road trips out of state for the journey. After my visit at GSJ, in my backyard, my option to continue to journey and meet individuals who express delight in this joyful transaction will continue. Frankly, GSJ customer interactions were underwhelming and disappointing. There is a pot for every lid and jeweler for every person.

10/10 experience at Greenwich St. Jewelers! My husband and I picked out our wedding bands with Molly, and she was friendly and helpful. Not to mention our wedding bands are GORGEOUS! Thank you for being a positive part of such a special time in our lives!

My fiance got my engagement ring here, a bracelet for my birthday here, and we got our wedding bands here. Needless to say we are fans! Christina, one of the owners, truly cares about customer experience and will go above and beyond to make sure it is a positive one. My wedding is this weekend and she welcomed me to stop by for a steam clean beforehand even though I recently had my yearly routine tune up (yes they provide yearly tuneups and are very accommodating to any additional needs)!

I took her up on that offer and when I just popped in for the cleaning both she and the other woman working there were so helpful and accommodating, as the staff there always is. Christina also works hard to ensure the people you are repeatedly working with are a good fit. Plus the jewelry is stunning - unique quality pieces! They've made a lifetime customer of me!

Really great service and nice selection of fine jewelry. I spent about 30 minutes trying on a bunch of marla aaron jewelry and Charis was super patient showing me everything. I ended up walking away with a relatively inexpensive pair of stud earrings from another brand, which came packaged really nicely. They also email you a list of things you tried on so you can order at a later time.

Before we stopped in at Greenwich Jewelers, my fiance and I had wandered around a few jewelry stores, aimless and unhelped. We thought we had a decent idea of what we wanted out of an engagement ring, but the truth is, our ideas were just starting points, and nobody had even started a conversation with us about those very basic ideas. That all changed when we met Mary at Greenwich Jewelers.

Before we were even fully in the door she was asking if she could help. Not the kind of pushy, upsell asking -- the entirely friendly kind, the kind of questioning that puts you at ease. Mary was our spirit guide for the rest of our quest to find the perfect engagement ring. She helped Rachel, my fiance, narrow down the kinds of rings she liked (this was done through a kind of "weakest link" process of elimination that felt more like a game show than a tough task).

She was knowledgeable and had a great instinct for what Rachel liked (and less importantly, what I liked), and also offered her opinion at the perfect times. This took a while -- a few months, during which we visited the store many times. In between visits, Mary and I emailed and called to discuss ideas. Mary never pushed us to make decisions, and in fact pushed us to take our time and keep looking on our own.

She entertained our abstract ideas and never batted an eye at our hemming and hawing. Eventually she got in touch with our jeweler, Jennie Kwon, directly so that we could add some custom touches to a ring design we liked. Mary so intimately understood what we were going for that when she called me to tell me she'd found the stone, I knew it was going to be perfect.

And it was. Mary made buying our engagement ring a joy -- and it easily could've been stressful, or even a disaster. She understood our budget, and worked so hard to find us the best we could get for our money. She was an absolute expert, and a pro. By the end of it all, we were happy to call her our close friend, and we still do. So: Go to Greenwich Jewelers, and ask if Mary is in, and if she is, tell her Chris and Rachel sent you. You'll be in the hands of a professional, and lovely, person.

I'm amazed this place has managed to stay in business for so long. I assume it must be the finance bros that have more money than time or smarts and send their assistants down the street when they realize they can't make their appointment because they might miss the personal training session with the celebrity Cross-Fit trainer. If you happen to not fit that mold they'll allow you to sit there for 20 minutes, apologizing for the delay because they're so busy - never asking what you'd like to do or if you'd like to set an appointment to come back another time, and then when you do finally speak to someone they'll tell you to come back later. Save your dignity and head up to 47th Street.

I worked with Amanda to design the setting and select a stone for my fiance's engagement ring. She was patient, helpful, and highly responsive throughout the entire process. We had some difficulties finding the right stone, but Amanda wasn't satisfied until I was thrilled with the selection. GST is a highly professional and premium jeweler. They crafted the ring from scratch in just over two weeks, which is a remarkable feat. The final product was remarkable and exactly what we discussed.

My fiance and I had an excellent experience at Greenwich St. Jewelers. We walked in with no appointment one weekend afternoon and Mary was quick to help us out. She gave us her undivided attention and was very engaged in helping us. She was funny and knowledgeable. We felt no pressure to buy on the spot. After visiting numerous stores, it was clear that this shop had some very unique jewelry designers!

Greenwich Street jewelers. I'm sure you treat all your customers who buy rings from you with the respect they deserve for shelling out thousands. However, if you're like me looking to just do a routine ring prong check and cleaning, I got talked to like I totally didn't deserve their time and they had no interest at all in turning it around quickly. Waited a few days for my ring back and paid a pretty penny for a service they provide free for their pre-existing customers. Trustworthy yes.

Customer service/value? Not sure. Yes it has been years. But I remember these things especially when it's an expensive ring. Needless to say haven't been back since. And I'm writing this now because I had a great experience somewhere else!

I have been going to Greenwich Street Jewelers since 1980. I relied on the expertise of Milly and Carl Gandia and now Jennifer and Christina for custom pieces. I've had diamond rings and precious stone rings reset with absolutely no issues. Even though I no longer work in Manhattan, I still make the trek from northern New Jersey to Greenwich Street Jewelers.

I go to this jeweler alot of all of my emergency fixes. They do a great job cleaning and resetting lose stones. I've treated myself to a few glittery things over the years (ssshh don't tell my husband). The staff are friendly and helpful and never try and sell you on things you're not looking for.

My long, 2 year engagement is almost over with 2 months to go, and Lauren and the Greenwich Jewelers team have been so helpful from day 1. Or really, a couple months before he proposed, if you want to get technical. Anyway, as I said in my previous review, Paul and I went back to Greenwich Jewelers for our wedding bands even after we moved to Boston because we didn't want to work with any other jeweler.

This weekend we drove down to New York for his birthday and our rings were ready! Our wedding bands came out PERFECT. Paul and I picked out sentimental phrases to engrave inside our rings. I was a little disappointed to hear that my ring had to be hand engraved, I think due to the shape of it, which was out of my budget. I was ready to forego the engraving of my ring but Lauren went the extra mile, once again, and was able to get my ring engraved free of charge.

We plan to move back to NYC in the near future and will continue to be loyal Greenwich Jewelers customers. (Happy wife, happy life, am I right?);) Thanks again to Lauren for your amazing service.

My boyfriend told me that for my 30th birthday that we should go ring shopping before my party later that night. So it turned out my mother had been saving a diamond from my Grandmother to put into a setting as an engagement ring for quite some time. So the week before I called to make an appointment, my mother had wanted the owner, but we made an appointment with Lauren who was available that day instead.

When we came in to the store, the space a small but choked full of amazing jewelry. Lauren was extremely gracious, kind, and knowledgeable about my grandmother's diamond, the setting it was currently in, and the settings that we were looking at. As I began trying on styles, she held out constant encouragement about my opinions, while still valuing the opinions of everyone else in the party.

She was generous with the champagne, cider, and chocolate to make the experience everything we could have imagined and more! Finally, I picked out the perfect setting, we also purchased an appraisal for insurance purposes. Finally, on our vacation last week to Mexico, my boyfriend popped the question and I was able to see the ring with my grandmothers stone. it is stunning and everything I could have ever wanted!
