This review is really long overdue. Before finding Capri Jewelry in 2018 we went to many jewelers, easily over 5. All of them either did not have a good selection, were trying to upsell, not personable, or it was evident that making money was their priority. Haygan and Gary from Capri were the exact opposite. They also thought us all about the 4 Cs, diamond certifications and were so patient with us throughout the whole process!

They allowed us to look at multiple diamonds under the microscope (despite it being a Saturday and past their closing time) and helped us pick the most beautiful stone within our price range. And many people continue to comment on its brilliance! We got my wedding band from them and most recently they made me another band. I sent them a picture of a band I wanted and they made it exactly and better than I could have ever imagined! Lastly, with our work schedule, we weren't able to pick up the band during their open hours. Haygan met us outside of work hours at a location that was convenient for us! They are now our lifelong friends and we know we have a jeweler we can trust! We cannot thank them enough! And really, this picture does do the rings justice

Was very happy with my purchase. Gary assisted me in finding the perfect engagement ring and was very helpful and informative on the different shapes and qualities of diamonds. Out of all the vendors in the area they were by far the most affordable and knowledgeable jewelers I encountered. Highly recommend and you will not be dissapointed that's for sure.

I was in search of a place with beautiful, affordable rings that I could customize and order to propose to my longtime girlfriend and after trying a few shops and running across aggressive pressuring sellers, Haygan and her family at Capri jewelry were a needed visit. Upon entering I was warmly greeted and made to feel like a valued customer. They spoke with me in a way that didn't make me feel pressured to buy, and explained pricing and options with me patiently.

Went to four different stores in the jewelry district to find my wedding band. Stopped at Capri Jewelry because of all the high reviews on Yelp. They gave me the best deal and were so nice to work with! I showed them what I wanted and they delivered, shout out to Nathan for being super responsive and helping me to get the perfect rose gold wedding band. can't wait to wear it FOREVER!

As soon as I set foot into Capri jewelry I knew this would work out. Not only was I greeted and treated like family, but I was put in a no pressure zone with an endless variety of engagment rings and bands to choose from. Not only are they family run but they really did their best to make me happy and they did! Nathan was very helpful and provided me with suggestions on what would look best. Highly recommend.

My Fiance worked with Haygan to customize my engagement ring. I thought I wanted an emerald cut, and she expressed to him how radiant is a better option. He trusted her and went with that, and I'm so glad he did. I go in to get my ring cleaned/ inspected regularly and Haygan always is so very kind, helpful, and pleasant to speak to. They all have amazing service, and I must say, I've cleaned rings elsewhere before and nothing compares to their style of cleaning.

As a first time jewelry buyer there are so many stores and options to choose from especially when you shop in the Los Angeles Jewelry district. You get overwhelmed and stressed out. Lost and confused. However, as soon as I walked into Capri Jewelry, I was amazed by the family-style service and care I recieved. There is a reason why they have been in business for over 40 years and I can proudly say I hope to see them for another 40. They helped me choose the perfect ring and I couldn't be happier.

I came in to Capri looking for some men's watches. From the moment I stepped in, I knew I would find what I wanted. Other vendors seem to be very pushy and desperate to sell, but Nathan at Capri was the complete opposite. I've never recieved this kind of quality and friendly service anywhere. He educated me on watches and what would be a good investment and had exactly what I was looking for. Don't go anywhere else!

This is by far the best Jeweler in LA! Garo is super honest and helpful and found the best diamond at the best price! It was super hard finding a GIA diamond with the shape I was seeking and only Garo was able to find it. Not only that the stone is rated VVS2 with the highest clarity and perfection. I have definitely found a jeweler who will serve all of our jewelry needs and desires for years to come. Thank you, Garo, and the rest of the team at Capri Jewelry!

Excellent and very friendly jeweler. Met with Haygan for the second time this week to finalize the perfect engagement ring for my girlfriend. This family-run jeweler has a very straightforward approach to their job and won't try to BS you into buying a poor quality diamond. Haygan was extremely helpful in maximizing the carat size at a great deal and at no point did I feel pressured into buying the ring. Highly recommend this place and definitely will come back in the future for more jewelry or an upgrade to our current engagement ring.

Since last year my wife has been wanting a pear shaped diamond ring, and we certainly had a lot of options. There are many stores and a lot to choose from. but we knew exactly what we wanted, so we searched endlessly to find the perfect ring After 2 months of shopping, comparing and educating ourselves, we found Capri Jewelry and met Gary and Haygan who not only were not pushy or forceful in anway but rather helpful and extremely pleasant people to deal with.

They showed us all the options that would fit best and we showed them a picture and they made the exact same ring! Were in love with how it turned out and I can't recommend a jewelry store any highly then Capri We will be back!

Stopped by Capri to see Hagen who helped my now husband pick out my gorgeous engagement ring. We also went back to her for both of our wedding bands. Today we went in with my husbands brother and it was so special (she had my ring polished which was amazing). Hagen is the absolute sweetest and will always give you the best deal. To start off, I want to say out of all the jewelry stores I've been to within the downtown jewelry district none of them offered me the variety and service that Capri jewelry did. I wanted a simple ring as a Christmas gift and I wanted it before the holidays. The fact they were busy, as any business would be during the holidays, didn't affect them. They wanted to make me happy and they did! They worked with my budget, and gave a me a quality piece at an affordable price! Thank you Haygan and Gary!

I've been wanting to upgrade my diamond for a while so decided to shop around. Capri Jewelry had lots of good reviews so I alled ahead and told them I wanted an upgrade. Arrived there and the transaction took probably 40 minutes. They got us the right diamond with the right price range and accommodated us to the best of their ability. And because I wanted to keep my settings, they actually remade my settings free of charge!

My rings arrived and I absolutely love them! Definitely coming back for my next upgrade! Thank you, Haygan for being so sweet and working with me, I absolutely loved the interactions.

I was looking for a promise ring for my girlfriend. And for anyone who has ever experienced searching around the jewelry district it can be a bit overwhelming when choosing which one to go with. But out of the 10+ different places I visited I knew this was the one I wanted to buy the ring from. We absolutely love Haygan and Gary. We got engaged in 2017 and this review is long overdue but better late than never. Haygan and Gary are the most sweetest and caring jewelers in town. They were very patient when my fiance was custom designing my engagement ring. He even had the opportunity to actually watch the jeweler create my ring. I've had strangers stop me and tell me that I have such a beautiful ring. Thank you for creating this masterpiece.

I've never seen anything like the Jewelry District in LA! My fiance and I went back to Capri Jewelry to get my *ridiculously beautiful* engagement ring sized. He'd worked with Chris to make it and told me that Chris asked a zillion questions, down to how tall I was, my frame, etc. in order to create the perfect ring for me...and Chris did just that. It's stunning. Beyond his talent, Chris was very personable and really knows his stuff. Thanks so much!

My fiancé and I went to the jewelry district "just to look," and headed straight to Capri, as my guy likes to research things and found great ratings and reviews. The staff was very responsive, and not in a pushy way. I was sort of afraid to touch the pretty things with my grubby paws, but they assured me that it would be fine. As soon as I mentioned that I probably wanted to custom design my ring, we were referred to Claude. Omg, Claude!

This man made me an even more beautiful ring than I imagined! After a good amount of deliberation, I decided I wanted the band from one ring and the setting from another. Claude patiently helped us pick out the perfect center diamond, never appearing to try and upsell us. With a custom design, you never really know what you're going to get, but he absolutely hit it out of the park! Claude is also certified to appraise his gorgeous creations, so we got an appraisal certificate when we got the ring (it's worth more than we paid). I could not possibly be happier with my experience!

My fiance got a beautiful channel setting with a 1.3 carat princess cut center stone from Capri jewelry! He also purchased a matching wedding band that has the same setting as the engagement ring. The serve was phenomenal. Just warning you that this is a small and intimate shop, it is definitely not your average Tiffany's store. But this is why Capri is such a small hidden gem.

My apologies but I forgot the sales rep that helped my fiance and I pick out my room. I did my research, told him what I wanted and most importantly what I can afford. What I really liked is that thy will try to customize and find diamonds that are within your budget and close to what you wanted. My main thing was size, I wanted a big rock but did not want to sell an arm or leg to get it.

He asked me what I was willing to sacrifice on, clarity, color etc. In the end the sales person was able to find the perfect diamond for my fiance and I. We were very very happy with the purchase and did a wonderful job with the appraisal as well. We then went downstairs to the recommended jeweler to get the diamond set into the actual ring. Wonderful service there as well.

Best part is that we can always come back in the future and upgrade to a better diamond only paying the difference of the upgrade. Hubby promises that every 10 years we can upgrade haha!
