Did not have a good experience. I wanted to look at wedding bands to match my engagement ring. We went in and they seemed not in the mood to help. The young man asked what type of band I was looking for and I was pretty specific that I wanted some vintage, I absolutely did not want it to overwhelm my engagement ring--something daintier. I tried to show my engagement ring so they would have an idea.

They brought out a bunch of rings that were exactly what I asked NOT to get--large bands that totally overwhelmed my engagement ring. Just a very underwhelming experience, it was clear that they were not interested in helping or listening to me. Luckily, had a far better experience at another jeweler that day.

I rarely write reviews but every time I pass Addessi Jewelers I do a slow burn. Having recently relocated from Manhattan to CT I decided to take a chance on Addessi to enlarge an heirloom ring that was too small. They measured the appropriate size and told my husband and I that the ring would be ready in about two two weeks. In two weeks we called them and discovered that they stretched the ring to the breaking point but would need to add more gold to achieve the required size.

The cost would be five times the original quoted price. Why a skilled jeweler wouldn't have known at the outset that there wasn't enough gold to increase the ring two sizes is curious. Deciding their repair shop was inept we decided to retrieve the ring. The ring cannot be worn or sold as is due to the fact they stretched the ring to the breaking point.

Despite returning a ruined ring to us they had the gall to charge us for destroying it because after all their repair person spent time working on it. If you need a valuable piece of jewelry repaired - do not rely on the shop.

Amazing! The staff at Addessi were friendly, knowledgeable, and provided the highest quality work. They resized and altered a family engagement ring perfectly for a fair price and in a very timely fashion. My fiance was blown away by the finished product, and she said yes! Shout out to Addessi Jewelers Ridgefield CT Wayne, Kate and the very talented Master Jeweler, Jeff, together they have again created a beautiful ring for me. My wedding/engagement rings needed to be cut off my finger, my knuckle became enlarged as a result of a fall. With help from Kate and Wayne and Jeff's consultation, I couldn't be happier with the result.

I have a ring that opens like a bangle (never knew they made these), so this solved the issue of a size 7 knuckle and a 4.5 size finger. Wayne and Kate willingly supplied any information that my insurance company required. How lucky we are to have a trusted jeweler like Addessi and a Master Craftsma Jeff right in house. I always feel confident that they will treat my sentimental treasures as if it were their own. Thank you Wayne, Kate and Jeff!

I went in with two delicate estate rings to be repaired, the jeweler did an excellent job. I go in with small repairs or to get a ring cleaned and I’m always treated well. This is a very family oriented, professional store with beautiful jewelry and old manners.

Just stopped in with my college age daughter before having ice cream to browse. We were met by a super polite young man, Thomas, who let us look uninterrupted. We found a GREAT pair of triple pearl earrings (30% off) but left without them so that I could later surprise my daughter with them for Christmas. When I called Thomas to purchase the earrings, he continued to be polite and offered to both wrap and ship them. Great selection. Superior service and local.

Addessi has helped me several different pieces of jewelry, including my wedding band, and each time they have handle each item with such care and detail. I always have such a pleasant experience with Kate and the rest of the staff. If you need jewelry cleaned, change a battery, or are looking for a custom piece I would always recommend Addessi!

Website has many offerings and is professional looking - including prices and SKU#s. But don't be fooled - most are not in stock nor available to sell. Store does not accept credit card for phone orders - wire transfer only. Definately not an ecommerce vendor. Might be okay for locals.
