T. Q. Diamonds, located in the heart of the Midwest (Madison, Wisconsin) , is pleased to offer eyeglass and sunglass repair with the advanced technology of our laser welder. Since 2003, we have fixed thousands of eyeglass frames with a 99% success rate.
The Laser Welder can repair virtually any break on almost any type of metal, including Titanium. With this awesome new technology, solder and a torch are no longer needed. The Laser simply shoots a beam of light, which actually welds the two pieces together producing little to no heat. A filler of gold, platinum, silver or titanium wire is then used in the Laser to fill the groove where the two broken pieces were joined. A laser weld is eighty-six percent stronger than a traditional solder. In addition, with the laser, T. Q. Diamonds can fix breaks that wouldn't be possible with solder, such as Titanium (which cannot take heat) , glasses that have a finish, or glasses with a plastic bottom to hold the lens in place.
We are now offering mail-in repairs, so that we can service you no matter where you're located! With two laser technicians working 6 days per week, we are able to offer same day shipping if we receive your glasses by noon. At just $45 with free shipping, this is definitely less expensive than getting new glasses! In addition, we give you a 30-day warranty on the weld. If it doesn't hold, simply send your glasses back to us for a second repair.
We will send your glasses back via USPS First Class Mail at our own expense. We do not provide insurance, but offer it to you for an additional cost. Please refer to the order form for insurance pricing. Since eyeglasses are generally very expensive items, we highly recommend that you insure your package! We are not responsible for glasses that are lost or broken in the mail.

Everyone at TQ Diamonds is wonderfully helpful and amazing. My engagement ring was originally a size 5, and I needed it resized to a 7. I was worried it would be a hard/impossible resize, but they were able to do it, and the ring looks beautiful! I also had them custom design my wedding band, and it's prettier than I ever imagined it could be. Highly recommend!

Nothing but great things to say about Jessica and TQ Diamonds! When my fiancée and I began to “just look” for rings we had no idea where to start. Jessica was amazing at easing us into the process by navigating us through each part professionally. We went to a competitor in the area before stopping at TQ and sadly our experience was a complete 180. Jessica was so professional and listened to what I liked about each ring she showed us and then would bring out different options based on all the factors involved.

Jessica at TQ helped me recreate a ring that combined two family rings. It was a sentimental journey for me and she made it very easy and was a great listener. Her creativity in just sketching out what she thought I was talking about was AMAZING! Every step of the way she was good at keeping me in the loop. The two rings had three different diamond shapes (marquis, princess and round), I was dubious to start with that it was possible to combine them, but she did an impeccable job with a stunning result. It was worth every penny and I feel like I got to know her so well that I've gained a friend. Win-win!

I am so impressed with TQ Diamonds' customer service and personal touch--their friendliness and attention to detail (even for online orders!) is outstanding. I do not live in the area, and recently used their online site to purchase a bracelet with a couple charms for a gift, not realizing that one of the charms I ordered would not fit with that bracelet. Sally called and left a detailed voicemail explaining the situation and checking whether I'd intended to order what I did (nope!), and followed up with an email in case I didn't receive the voicemail.
When I called her back, she was so helpful in suggesting a replacement charm, adjusting my order, and making sure I wasn't paying more than I needed to for shipping. Many thanks!

I have so many positives about TQ. From our initial experience 5 years ago when my then boyfriend surprised me with ring shopping. To the first time we came back for a cleaning and check up, to buying our wedding bands, to even today. Today Mike, gave me a call to let me know they fixed my ring. Earlier this week i was in a minor accident where my hand got smashed.
Lucky for my hand I was wearing my Verragio. Sadly the ring took the force and was smashed. We overnighted the ring to TQ; they got it today and Mike gave me a call personally with the update. It's as good as new. Mike and the team have treated us amazingly ever since we walked through that door five years ago. No matter if it's the first purchase or just a repair, they make you feel valued. THANK YOU for being a great company!

The whole choosing s ring and setting was a lot of fun and Ted was knowable and worked with our budget to create a beautiful piece. When our rings arrived and I tried mine in for size, I was blown away at the quality and craftsmanship and of course the sparkle of my ring! TQ Diamonds is hands down the best jewelry store there is. WOW! Worked with Lora - she's been there over 14 years and 28+ years in the jewelry business. Her experience save us time and money. She brought in some great diamonds that fit our budget, got the Tacori ordered for us, got us approved (literally in minutes) for no interest financing for 12 months and the ring came earlier than promised! Not only did we get free financing but we have a shot at getting our rings free if it snows more than 3" on New Years Eve.
