You can trust our experienced Master Jewelry Craftsman to properly fix almost any broken piece or lovingly restore your fine heritage jewelry. We offer professional appraisal services including replacement cost appraisals for insurance and estate evaluations.
Montague's Jewelers offers custom design services as well as a thoughtfully curated collection of fine bridal jewelry by premier artisans. Working with only the most reputable diamond suppliers, we hand-select stones with the quality and characteristics you desire. We then invite you to look at each stone in the comfort of our store. We believe that in order to find your perfect diamond, you must experience the stone in person.

Our experience there did not inspire trust in their customer service attitude. Several years ago I gave my sister a Citizen Eco Drive solar powered watch with a 5-year warranty purchased from a reputable dealer in our area. When it stopped working last year, she took it to Montague's in Billings and they sent it to Citizen for repair. Finally she was told that Citizen had reported it couldn't be fixed because the parts were unavailable.
Then the manager sold her a new watch (unfortunately she told them the maximum she could pay--$120--first) for that exact amount and said it was half price. It was a very plain, traditional, battery powered watch and she didn't get any paperwork or warranty on it. It was a brand we don't recognize and for which we can find no information online. He only told her he would give her new batteries for life--but hey, she's in her mid-eighties now!
While we were visiting her in Billings last month, we went to Montague's and asked for her Citizen watch back so I could take it to my original vendor's watchmaker, who keeps older parts and might still be able to fix it. The Montague's manager told us he had thrown it away because it couldn't be fixed. My sister had not been asked for her permission to do this, so I was upset and complained.
From the get-go we thought the manager acted defensive and arrogant, and never apologized for throwing away a customer's property without permission. And we still have unanswered questions about the watch he sold her. I can only hope there are other employees in this long-standing Billings business who show more respect for legitimate customer complaints.

You were able to size my moms wedding band for my finger and have it done in a short period of time, and came in under budget for me. Chris Montague could not have been more accommodating or more patient with the type of ring I wanted and with my price range. I selected the ring both at the store and over the phone and he was great to work with. He had a ring made up for me so I could look at it in person, and then when I wanted it a little different he sent it back to the jeweler to be changed free of charge. It was all done very quickly as well. Fantastic business, don't get your jewelry anywhere else!
