They sell very high priced jewelry. It may be good quality but seems to high end for this area. Most jewelry is over $1000.

Have been coming here since at least 1985 when we bought our wedding rings! Both Barb's have helped me over the year and I can't imagine going to any other Jeweler for service, repair or a new piece! Settle Jewelry restored my grandmother's 1920s wedding set to its former beauty. This included replating the ring and resetting the center stone as well as fixing broken prongs. They did a beautiful job and the sales woman was very excited to see the result! I never dreamed it could look like new! I always go here first in Bloomington. Good people and a local, personal feel.

I had taken my husband's watch to Settle for a new battery, and mentioned having my mom's 1947 wedding and engagement rings tucked away in a box for years, asking if they could either resize them to fit or figure out what else I might do with them. I scheduled an appointment with Barb, who was amazing in helping me explore my options. My mom had died earlier this year, and Barb understood that this was an emotional time for me.

She could not have been kinder or more patient as I finally decided that I wanted to remove the diamonds from their original 1940s settings and create a new ring with them. The new ring is simply stunning. At the same time, I also had repair work done on my wedding ring, which had been my grandmother's and is about 100 years old (the channel setting had worn down).

I could not be happier with my new ring, with the work done on my grandmother's ring, as well as with Barb and her colleagues at Victor Settle. The entire experience was simply wonderful, and I'm certain my mom and her mother would be astonished and delighted with the beautiful outcome.

This place is fantastic. After having a poor experience at another local jeweler, I brought in some broken jewelry to be fixed and they did an excellent job. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable, the service was quick, the prices were more than reasonable, and most importantly, they did an amazing job! I've returned a number of times now and have always had a great experience. They have some very interesting and beautiful pieces that are definitely worth checking out.

Family owned, smaller jewelry store. Location is in a good spot with parking. They've always done Great work with watches, excellent work but be prepared for the long wait time before getting it back. Took close to 2 months to fix a broken clasp. Reasonable/ Affordable pricing.

I brought my watch in here to get a pen replaced and to have the battery installed properly after I tried to do it myself and botched it! The gentleman that this store knows what's up and gets things done the right way, this is definitely the place to bring your jewelry to get repaired, and if you're shopping for something new they have a very nice selection of Bulova watches and other fine jewelry. if nothing else this place is worth the time to come in and visit and see the nice things that they have!

We came here hoping to find a battery for a Mickey Mouse pocket watch. Secondly we came to discover people who will repair mantle clocks. We discovered that they have someone who will design jewelry around precious stones. This is not your average chain jewelry store. They have many delightful jewelry pieces.

My wedding ring was my grandmothers and was worn by her for over 75 years and I've worn it for almost 15 years. This ring obviously holds a lot of sentimental value. I needed to have a repair done, and my husband took it to Victor Settle Jewelry. They went above and beyond my expectations. The ring looks seriously brand new, and the integrity of the ring is going to go on another 90+ years easily!

I purchased a dainty rose gold and sterling silver bracelet in 2017. The recipient of this bracelet loved it, wore it often. Unfortunately, she lost it in June 2020. I went into Victor Settle with a poor quality picture of the beautiful bracelet. Staff immediately found their record of my purchase. They informed me these bracelets are no longer available from their supplier and recommended I try eBay.

Ten minutes later Victor Settle staff phoned to say they'd found a similar bracelet in their clearance display. Needless to say, I marched back into the store, purchased the bracelet and mailed it off. Staff is kind, enthusiastic, knowledgeable, helpful and optimistic. I highly recommend supporting this family owned and operated Bloomington jewelry store.

They do a fantastic job of sizing rings and repairing jewelry. They are the only jeweler that still does sizing I know of in the area

I like supporting local businesses. They have friendly, helpful staff and a pleasure to deal with. I've bought several pieces of jewelry there and have always been pleased. I recommend them to family and friends.

I do not buy jewelry, but watches are my thing. I am a collector and have a number of watches - especially vintage mechanical watches. For batteries, repair or servicing of watches, Settle is the only place for hours where you can get any serious work done. I have a couple quartz watches that use uncommon battery types, but Settle always has them.

When I had a couple vintage automatics that needed repair, Settle fixed them and serviced them, even cleaning and buffing the cases and crystals. I don't have any complaints. Their staff is always polite and professional. Their selection of products is excellent especially considering the size of this little independent store and the area. The only negative I have is the length of time it takes to get work done on my watches. Their horologist/watchmaker is the only guy around who can do work like that and so he always has a backlog you wouldn't believe so be prepared for a wait.

I have been to this business for many years. Have an heirloom jewels made into lovely pieces, had old jewelry repaired, had watch batteries and bands put on and bought lovely pieces here. Always friendly and helpful. Good pricing. I trust them and so does my daughter.

Always a good and comfortable experience when I visit. They are down-to-earth and very easy going. Make them your jeweler of choice!

I went in for an estimate on how much it'd be to fix my watch. The stem had fallen out and it was a pretty simple fix : just buy a new stem and place it in the watch. 0 skill is required for that. I could have done it if I had the part. I called them after 2 weeks of waiting because I became impatient. They finally told me it'd be $50 to fix and they had the estimate the whole time, they just never called me. Needless to say, I did not give them my business.

Came here to have a watch battery replaced on the recommendation of an employee at Argentum. It took only a few minutes and was fairly inexpensive. The service was friendly and there was a cozy place to sit and wait. Thanks Settle's!

Great customer service. Their staff was friendly and honest - a huge plus in the jewelry industry. They also had a unique selection.

I haven't actually bought any jewelry from these fine folks but if I was in the market this would be one of the first places I checked. They sized my grandmothers ring for me quite splendidly and a year later I went in and they cleaned it and checked the settings for free! I also had a bracelet engraved there for Xmas and was quite pleased with the result. Friendly helpful staff and located right downtown. Check'em out!
