In 1985, Jimmie and Peggy DeRamus opened Silver Dollar Pawn & Bargain Center, a 900 square foot building which employed 2 loan/sales employees. Over the years this business has grown into a 20,000 square foot retail/loan outlet housing 100's of unique, one of a kind items, 1000's of pieces of fine jewelry, a showroom full of precious collectibles, a complete line music store, an outstanding range of firearms, an in-store jeweler, and a loan facility housing many loan associates.

No wonder this place is going out of business, first the lady that greeted me was on the phone the entire time and told me that she couldn't help me which was rude. Last the people in the Showroom area were rude as well, apparently they are too busy to help their customers! Take your items elsewhere people!

I drove 6 hours to check out the pawn shop. I came with what most would consider a ridiculous amount of money to purchase a few items. Well, immediately upon entering I was greeted by probably the most rude person that I have ever spoken with. Their attitude was terrible. Very condescending and arrogant. I was so disappointed that I left immediately. The ownership should most definitely review their customer service policy.

"They don't believe in gothic items or the beliefs behind the word gothic" omg like really!?! I'll definitely take my pieces elsewhere! Should have listened to my parents when they told me this was the worst shop out of all our local shops! And this was just a phone call, I didn't even get to bring them in for them to look them over

Had a small $125 piece of jewelry on layaway. Decided to cancel because of a know it all family member that works there. Asked not to speak to her. She jumped my butt when I jump back. Jimmy crybaby Deramus, thinks he can boss me. Rude worker even sent police to my house. Poor customer service. Please shop with caution and read all reviews on Yelp and Google.not. highly recommended.
