McCoy Jewelers came to life in November of 1992. Dreaming of one day owning a store, but not thinking it was possible, out of the blue Dayna McCoy received a call asking if she wanted to buy a store in downtown Bartlesville. Before she knew what hit her, Dayna was the proud owner of McCoy Jewelers. Since 1992 Dayna and her husband Larry have enjoyed seeing their hard work grow into a new store, three times as large as when they began.
Second generation, Matt McCoy took over ownership in January of 2011 and plans to continue providing the high level of service and merchandise McCoy Jewelers' clients have become accustomed to in the previous years.

Our Four C's of Diamonds guide can help you decide on the most important factors when shopping for a diamond. The word carat derives from the word carob, a Mediterranean seed, which has an extremely consistent weight for measuring. The greater the carat weight, the rarer, and more valuable the diamond becomes.
Some people want to buy the biggest diamond possible. Is this always the right choice? The larger the diamond, chances are the more inclusions it likely has, and because it's larger, these inclusions are typically even more visible than on a smaller diamond. But most importantly, if the diamond cut isn't proportioned correctly, it won't return the maximum amount of light through the top of the diamond. This illustrates that no matter how large the diamond, its cut and proportions determine how brilliant the diamond really is.
Solitaire settings are great if you have a stunning singular stone that has been passed down through the generations as an heirloom, many choose to display it in a classic Solitaire setting. This setting generally allows for the maximum amount of sparkle by allowing light to pass in through the bottom sections of the ring.

I took my wedding ring set into McCoy's Jewelers to have the prongs replaced. Besides doing that, they cleaned my ring and I wasn't expecting that. It was a wonderful surprise! The new prongs look great and. even after 46 years of marriage. my ring looks brand new! I recommend McCoy's to anyone who needs help with a jewelry need.

I have a lot of jewelry and have purchased many items from McCoy jewelers. They are top notch and the work they do on repairs and adjustments cannot be beat. The staff is accommodating and always contributes and enhances decisions about making the item better. I have since moved to another state, but will be sending my jewelry to them. Matt and Dana are the best in design and workmanship. Thank you!

Won't ever do business again with them. Was happy with the service years ago but the business has changed and is very poor. Had an appraisal done that was so far off I went to two other jewelers who said there was no way they could make a ring like it for the appraisal value. Went back and they weren't confident they could either! But wouldn't change their appraisal, makes sense.go it reappraised and there was a $2,000 difference which aligned with the other jewelers. Service was also poor, lady was very arrogant. They over price everything and make average jewelry compared to other jewelers in town.
