$35 for the cleaning of one little silver ring. Only major surfaces cleaned. Little groove and insides seemingly untouched. Very disappointed. Just seems like a rush job. Was expecting professional level cleaning, they definitely failed to meet expectations.

What any amazing jeweler and establishment. Some 4-5 generations deep, and the owner is there to welcome and help, should you need it, to design the special wedding ring set, or custom one-off. We worked close with Guy, the proprietor, in the gourd up design of my fiance's wedding band, complete with over 3 carats of brilliant diamonds and a custom band.

Ask Guy and he will show you the cad drawings he does for these projects. Pricing was very competitive, having this been my second occasion of going through the process, however, this one was amazing. I went here because of the highly rated reviews on the other nation review site, and will be writing one their as well. Thank you Guy and your entire team. Great customer service! The staff is very friendly and Guy Ballard spent a lot of time with me showing me the various diamond band options for my budget. Very pleasant experience. I also had my existing rings polished and they look like brand new!

I just moved to the Fountain Valley area and was in need of a new jewelry store for earrings and necklaces. The location is in the corner of a nice quiet plaza and plenty of parking. The associates are always so kind and welcoming. Joyce assisted and greeted me on my first visit and was kindly handed off to Aivy who helped me find the perfect earring studs and white gold necklace I was in need of.

Even during the holiday season they were able to custom order me what I needed for myself and my mother. There was no pressure or pushiness when presented with what my options were and all the associates knew exactly what would fit my needs. For my diamond earring studs I decided to go with lab grown diamonds because they were most affordable and budget friendly for what I was looking for. The service was absolutely amazing and plan to continue to purchase more jewelry in the future from Ballard and Ballard. Definitely check them out when you have a chance!

I've used this Gem of a shop numerous occasions. Joyce (my jeweler) is amazing. Her customer service is something I've giving speeches about during sales meetings. Being in an industry where customer service is king, I value her attention to every question and need. They offer courtesy cleaning and can create any custom design you wish. I knew for my 20th Anniversary I wanted something special but wasn't 'exactly' sure what that was. I was looking for both an upgrade to my engagement ring and wedding band. My husband and I met with Guy 4-5 separate occasions to really fine tune what I wanted. Guy was patient, knowledgeable, a great listener and very accommodating and professional. I've had my two new rings for about 4 months and couldn't be happier with my finished products and the service Guy provided. One of my engagement ring prongs started to catch on clothes and would snag strands of fiber, cotton, hair, thread, etc. I brought it by to get an idea of what could be done, and Guy offered smoothing and rounding out the prongs as well as making sure all the stones were still tightly set and metal was polished. They quoted me a 48 hour turn-around time and I was not only pleasantly surprised that they got it done in 24 hours, but the price was very fair. My ring looks brand new, like the day my husband proposed. The workmanship is spectacular!

I was looking for an independent jeweler to assist with a mother's ring design. I made an appointment with Guy Ballard to discuss options for a 7 stone ring for 2 children, 3 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren. We selected a beautiful setting for the seven stones, 5 of which I already had. The quality of the work is amazing, and Guy and the staff were very friendly and helpful. My wife recently lost a diamond out of her 42 year old wedding ring and not having a jewelry contact we went online. Ballard and Ballard had been around for 100 years so I thought they must be doing something right. It turns out that they do everything right. From the moment we walked in the door we felt comfortable, . At no time did we feel like we were being oversold on the replacement diamond. When we picked up the ring it looked like it was new again. The store is family owned and has been in business over a 100 years! On the day I was there they had gorgeous estate jewelry on display, once owned by Shirley Temple, Elvis, Joan Collins, etc. I particularly fell in love with a necklace from the 19th century. They did a wonderful job fixing all my jewelry, replacing a gem from one of my rings that I had lost. Also cleaning my jewelry. The turn around for fixing the jewelry was under a week. Fantastic service and beautiful jewelry. Highly recommend Ballard & Ballard Jewelers.

Guy you provided me with an experience that I will never forget, I will never forget the feeling I had leaving your jewelery store after our 1st appt and me knowing that I was in good hands and was someone that I could trust with one of the biggest decision of my life. B&B has always been there for me and my last minute shopping needs for the women in my life, Lol. Today they provided me the ability to order, pay and pick up curb side for the Mother's Day gift I purchased over the phone. They have a wide variety of jewelry that you can shop online until the store is able to open again. They are very customer service orientated and make purchasing jewelry easy. They even can communicate by text. Ballard & Ballard are my preferred jeweler.

Excellent showroom and best of all owner Guy Ballard. I visited his showroom and Guy gave a personal tour of the facility and the 100+ year history of the company. The Ballard's are still very 'hands on' in the business and involved in every transaction. They have the capability to create about any custom piece a customer would want and have been creating custom jewelry for years. I highly recommend Ballard and Ballard.

My boyfriend and I started shopping for jeweler to make a custom Engagement ring for me as I was pretty set on what I wanted and we hadn't seen anything pre-made that came close. I did my research and narrowed our options to 5 places. Ballard and Ballard was one of them. Glenn was our point of contact and during our initial consultation, he was very thorough and gave us his honest feedback on our ideas and thoughts.

What made us ultimately decide to go with Glenn over the other jewelers was that Glenn also did the designing himself. The other places we looked at, while we felt they had the capability to do the job, the person we consulted with passed on our ideas to their designer who would then bring it back to the person we were talking to. We would rather cut out that middle person even if the designer worked specifically with that jeweler.

With Glenn's experience and expertise being there for every part of the process, we felt it was easier to be able to communicate with him directly. Pricing was competitive as well, being only a few hundred within each other. We also liked that when we initially reached out to Glenn, he asked us for our timeline to ensure he had proper time to make the ring.

He mentioned that he doesn't rush his work, which we appreciated. In addition to providing free lifetime cleaning, replacement of the small stones if they were to fall out, and rhodium plating for white gold, Ballard & Ballard also provides us with 3 years warranty on the ring. We commissioned Glenn for the ring on Feb 29, and it took about a week for him to provide was with a CAD image of our ideas.

He also sourced the center diamond for us as well, and was able to keep costs in our budget. We approved the design and picked the center diamond on March 6. Despite the coronavirus pandemic surfacing during this time, Glenn was still able to finish the ring for us to pick up on April 10th. Throughout this time, he provided us with weekly updates, making sure to keep us in the loop. Overall, we are very happy with the ring and would not hesitate to recommend Glenn and Ballard & Ballard to anyone looking to have a custom ring made. We plan to have our wedding bands made here as well once things calm down!

Love love love this place! My family has been coming here for many years (mainly my dad being an amazing husband) and they are simply the best! This store is family owned and you can tell they really care about what they do. My fiance recently purchased my engagement ring from them. Customer service was great: he never felt like they were being pushy or trying to up sell him. The ring came with resizing for life as well as 1 year of jewelry insurance. We both highly recommend Ballard & Ballard for all of your jewelry needs.

My friend recommended me to go here after I told her I needed to resize a ring. This is a family owned jeweler and they were all really nice! To resize my ring, it was a bit on the pricier end but I do think it was worth it. The location was extremely kept and clean, the staff are warm and welcoming, answered all my questions and price was reasonable. Definitely a great experience, 10/10 recommended! You know. I like these guys. I came in to talk about a diamond I had. I needed it taken out of the setting so I could send it into GIA for grading. I delt with Glen. SUPER nice guy and a pleasure to speak / deal with. I definitely left with the impression that he's a stand up, honest guy and THAT'S what you want in a jeweler. Oh and he took a guess as to the grading and wouldn't you know.he was spot on with GIA's grading. Impressive.

My husband and I had no idea what we wanted for our engagement and wedding rings. We shopped around all of OC and stopped in large places like Zales where we felt accosted, then to Costco where the price is right but sizing is not, then we landed here at B&B by doing a desperate Yelp search. We also were just out of college and did not have a large budget.

I am picky with my jewlery and every enagement ring I had pinned on Pintrest looked terrible on my finger. I wanted something unique (but dainty because of my small hands). Guy greeted us right away. We felt welcomed and relaxed, which had not been the case at Kay/Zales. We had the diamond spiel at Zales, but Guy was able to physically show us differences in cuts and reasons why some diamonds were more than others.

I found my perfect engagement band within 15 minutes then took quite awhile deciding which cut of diamond to place in it. Guy waited patiently through this whole indecisiveness. I decided on a princess cut with a floral band in silver plated gold (I didn't like how heavy the platinum was). My husband chose a rose gold knife edge ring which looks awesome!

We have since moved out of state but when we visit family we always stop in to get our rings cleaned. I have referred everyone who asks to B&B. They are truly a diamond in the rough. I am happy to support this family owned and operated business. I can't say enough good things about our experience. We went from doubtful we could afford our perfect rings at the large retailers to easily affording better quality rings and getting excellent customer service at B&B.
