Our Four C's of Diamonds guide can help you decide on the most important factors when shopping for a diamond. The word carat derives from the word carob, a Mediterranean seed, which has an extremely consistent weight for measuring. The greater the carat weight, the rarer, and more valuable the diamond becomes.
Jones Jeweler has been an active member of the Independent Jewelers Organization since 1996. The Independent Jewelers Organization is a group of over 800 independent retail jewelers nationwide, which offers supreme quality and unmatched service, providing an excellence that customers can count on. As our area's exclusive Master IJO Jeweler, we maintain a leading role by keeping up with the latest fashions and trends in fine jewelry, educating ourselves about every aspect of our industry, including innovative technologies, and listening carefully to each one of our customers.
Some people want to buy the biggest diamond possible. Is this always the right choice? The larger the diamond, chances are the more inclusions it likely has, and because it's larger, these inclusions are typically even more visible than on a smaller diamond. But most importantly, if the diamond cut isn't proportioned correctly, it won't return the maximum amount of light through the top of the diamond. This illustrates that no matter how large the diamond, its cut and proportions determine how brilliant the diamond really is.

Went here to buy a wedding band to go with an engagement ring that i already had. Being young and very excited i never brought the ring along with me when i picked out the wedding band. And the jeweler didn't ask me if i should wait to see of they would match, so i bought the ring only to find out after paying over a thousand dollars that they didn't match.
I was very upset and asked the jeweler if we could work something out. So he said he would take the ring and see what he could do. He wasn't too keen on working with the ring because it had emeralds in it. After a month with no response from the jeweler i called and asked if he had found anything he said he was looking, but said that it would be a challenge.
I grew tired of being treated like a dollar sign and went and got the ring and brought it somewhere else. They said they could do it for me no problem. Needless to say Jones treats you like you are nothing more than money, and it shows. They lost many life long customers in this ordeal from my family, because of their failure to work with me.
