Wish I could give more than 5 stars. Buy local. They care! Our experience was outstanding but it's been more than one experience. It has been time after time. At Christmas I took my daughters to pick out a present for my wife and they treated them like princesses the whole time. Then, about 2 weeks ago my wife's Diamond fell out of her wedding ring and we took it in to be reset. Megan was extremely knowledgeable and friendly.

She got everything taken care of and it looks amazing! The day I picked up that ring I was taking my middle daughter to pick out new earrings after doing good at a gymnastics meet. Once again, he treated her like a princess. She couldn't have been happier! He made it an experience she won't forget! These are the experiences that local businesses provide when it's more than the dollar amount that matters! Thank you

They fixed my ring for me when many jewelers wouldn't because of the type of stone. I was so happy to find a place that would. My ring looks clean and shiny as well. Definitely recommend and I'll be back for future fixes etc. Thank you so much!

My husband and I have made several purchases and have had some jewelry repair work done at Pugh's. Jewelry repair has always been excellent. Sales staff have always been helpful and friendly. My kids also love to stop in and look at jewelry with me. The sales staff has always been super kind in showing my kids any jewelry they wanted to see and educating them about gemstones.

I recently found my daughter's add-a-pearl envelope in an old jewelry box that I had purchased at Pugh's the year she was born in 1998. Needless to say, I had forgotten about ever adding any pearls, and went into Pugh's in October to see what could be done with them for a Christmas gift. Caleb was incredibly helpful in creating a design for a necklace to use the 7 pearls, and it was one of her favorite gifts!

He was very patient and explained several different options, and I actually ended up having an antique ring set with a stone for my niece, as well as 3 other small projects and repairs done due to his expertise. My daughter was also newly engaged, and her ring was purchased at Pugh's. She went back to pick out her band, and is also going to purchase the groom's wedding band there as well. Caleb informed them that there would be a couple new lines of wedding bands coming in, and they were very excited by the new collections of different styles and materials now available.

In addition, years ago my daughter had received a simple necklace from her aunt from Tiffany's, and it had tarnished so terribly that it was unwearable. I took it in at Easton to have it cleaned, and they said that their department for cleaning was closed due to COVID, and could not say when it would be open again. I asked Caleb about it, and they cleaned it on the spot!

We have interacted with many of the staff there now and are always greeted in a friendly manner, no matter how small the job. It is wonderful to have a family owned jewelry store with such great employees and wonderful choices and service, and we are happy to support them in our community.

Pugh Diamond did an excellent job at polishing, advising, resizing and appraising a diamond ring set my fiance bought somewhere else. Highly recommend!

I have dealt with Patrick in the past and didn't have any problems. But this day he wasnt in. I was selling or trying to, a button of gold. I recover and refine it from electronic waste as a hobby so i get them from time to time not a large amount, usually a couple of grams. Like i said this day Patrick wasnt in. I can't recall the name of the guy who tried to help me which is a pity as im fairly certain he tried to pull a fast one.

I don't expect to sell my gold at full spot price, but its a hard commodity and has solid value. If I'm desperate i can sell to a pawn shop at 75% spot, but i like to get more if i can. Well this day i needed to sell a button I hadn't finished fully refining, it only tested at 18k. And weighed(i knew how much before going i) pretty darn close to 1.28grams. at $60/gram spot being 18k comes to $57.60 value at $60 per gram spot.

Well this guy "helping" me weighed it and told me it only came to.8. I knew something was up already at that point decided i wouldn't be selling it. After specifically asking a direct question about the weight he admitted it was.8dwt or pennyweight. Ok weight is weight i thought, he rounded down from my number but it was close enough. Then he told me it would only get me $30.

At this point i knew things weren't on the level. Thats less than a no questions asked pawnbroker would give percentage wise. Like barely half its spot value. At this point I lied and said i forgot my ID and would have to go get it. Because I might be unprofessional if i confronted him about it. It wasn't until a week or so later I figured out what he was trying to pull.

He weighed the gold as dwt but priced it as that weight measurement were grams. He was trying to give me 0.8gram pricing instead of 0.8dwt. if the gold only weighed.8grams at 60 gram spot that would value 18k at $36, hence the $30 offer. Look i know theyre a business and they gotta have a markup to make money. But thats downright shadey and unethical. I don't have good feelings about ever patronizing this store again.

Dropped off my ring for repairs. They did a beautiful job repairing the channels. The ring came back looking brand new as it should. They handled the insurance leg work for me, that's service! Trish was EXTREMELY patient with me, courteous, very professional and made me feel like family. Thank you Pugh's and a big thank you to Trish!

I LOVE this jewelry store. Everyone has always been wonderful to both me and my husband Kevin. My husband has bought me several pieces from here and even taken one of his old diamonds to have set in a beautiful setting for our anniversary. I have also taken some pieces of my grandmothers in to have fixed and this past trip Caleb was able to fix a ring I thought had no hope.

Between him and Brandon I was in and out in 20 minutes with a ring I thought I couldn't be salvaged. Thank you! They are also supportive to my husband with the community events and camps that he holds.

I went to this jeweler on Sat 11/25/17 for 2 batteries for my watches. I haven't been there in years. The young man who assisted me was helpful and a real sweetheart. You feel like family. Thank you!

Little pricey, but amazingly helpful! Best jeweler in town! And it's local to boot! They assisted me in an issue that I had with a Triton Ring that I bought at Zales (who I found out doesn't recognize Triton warranty, when Tritons website sad they are an authorized dealer, which is a whole other review in its self) They greet you with a smile and seem eager to help.

Had some 22K gold Jewelry that I picked up in India and in Europe that I didn't want. I weighed it and used an on line scrap gold calculator to determine what would be a fair price. I entered Pugh's as their "We'll beat the competitor by 10%" slogan enticed me. The quote I was given from Pugh's was about half of what I had previously been given on the net so I left and called a few other places in the area.

Same weights, same gold, sight unseen, the other 3 establishments I called gave me quotes that were more than Pugh's by 1,000 dollars or more. I felt a wave of relief that I hadn't done business with this horrid establishment. I had a very special ring to design in memorial of my fiance. I had a very specific idea in mind, and I worked with Tricia to pick out the setting and stone. She listened to what I had in mind for the ring, and she was very patient and helpful. The ring turned out spectacular. I took the ring back to ask her about a few inclusions I noticed in the sapphire, and without me asking she called in a couple of other sapphires to look at, and let me choose from those and switched them out with no hassle.

The ring is absolutely beautiful, customer service is impeccable. I have already since then ordered a replacement wedding band for my brother, and a mother's ring for my best friend. I highly recommend them!

Yikes! My boyfriend bought me a loose pearl in San Francisco and I thought it would make a beautiful necklace. He took it to Pugh's and they transformed it into an odd-looking kettle ball design (I posted a picture). The reason I'm giving them 1 star is because the original clasp that connected the pearl to the necklace broke. One week later, the chain itself broke, and now I have to get a new one. I was really disappointed in the quality of the work. I will try to find a good shop in Columbus.

The best customer care around and Quality merchandise. We've bought everything from watch batteries and Pandora Bracelets, to engagement/wedding rings from Pughs. Always satisfied. Great selection! I have been searching for a jeweler that can assist me in repairing or replacing my unique solitare wrap. I had heard good things about Pugh's so I decided to stop by. I waited for 10 minutes or so while two employees spoke with a couple and two employees spoke with a woman. They never acknowledged that I was even in the building. I browsed their selection and was rather disappointed, but decided to wait to see if they had something that was not on display.

I would have thought that someone would have at least acknowledged I was there, but nothing was said at all. After 10 minutes I decided to leave. I won't go back. I will continue my search for a new unique wrap.
