I originally went to Jewelry Specialties to get a couple of my grandmother's rings appraised as I wanted to reset them. I thought I was going to use the jeweler that designed my wedding ring. After meeting and talking to John and looking at the reviews, I changed my mind and went with him. I'm so glad I did! He did a fantastic job. I am so happy with his work and communication. I will definitely use him again for the other ring and some other jewelry I have.

John took two of my Mom's rings and made them into seven stacked rings for her granddaughters. There are several different designs that they chose from and all are beautiful. He is extremely professional, trustworthy and most interested in a positive outcome. I found John to be incredibly friendly, organized and thoughtful with his ideas and my budget. John cares and he more than knows what he's doing. I brought him a beautiful old watch that had many small diamonds set around the outer edge and had belonged to my mother. We wanted to have the diamonds reset into a wedding band for my daughter but didn't want to destroy a potentially valuable watch. John gave us a free appraisal and we decided to have him do the work.

The results were simply wonderful. And with a few diamonds left over, we asked John to add them to my wife's ring. She was simply amazed! Our future son-in-law got his wedding band from John as well. Had my ring repaired here and the service was exceptional! Not only was John prompt with a estimate but he was very quick to get ahold of me when it was done. The ring looked better than brand new after he cleaned it. He also did a diamond replacement on my engagement ring after I had lost one of the diamonds. Very professional work and a comfortable environment.

In a work from home environment it can be a little questionable, but I fully intend to go back to him with all jewelry repairs I will need in the future. I would recommend him to anyone that needed repairs or any type of jewelry purchase. He is great!

John did my appraisal on my wedding ring and band. He was so quick and friendly. Made me feel that my ring would be safe left with him which meant a lot as I was newly engaged. Yet he did have the option of him doing the appraisal with me there but after meeting him felt it was unnecessary. He gave me a lot of information about my ring that I found very helpful. He knows so much & spends the time getting to know you as a person. Definitely recommend.

I first found John on here (Google Reviews) when I was looking for someone to appraise my engagement ring, I saw all the positive reviews and thought, with all the good reviews why not. I was so surprised, he has been even better than I expected. He reminds me when I should clean my rings and I even went to him to make two custom wedding bands to fit my halo style engagement ring.

I used John at Jewelry Specialties to update my wedding ring into a more contemporary design. I consulted with several custom design jewelers prior to finding Jewelry Specialties and chose John because he appeared to be the most patient, cost effective, and attentive to my needs. It was extremely important to me that he use my exact wedding diamonds in a very similar fashion. Thus, John completed several 3D computer drafts of proposed revisions until we had created exactly what I was looking for. He was conscientious about keeping me informed during the entire process and was able to work within my time frame. I would highly recommend him to anyone.
