We have found our jeweler. We have been so pleased with Mark and his team.

When we were visiting the area several years ago now, i noticed a prong from my emerald ring was missing, and I went into Bay Street Jewelers, very worried because #1 my ring was missing one of it's 4 prongs, and #2 also worried because I didn't know the personnel in the jewelry store and didn't want things to go wrong. I was absolutely delighted with the friendly and professional service that was offered and my husband and I trusted these folks from the minute we were welcomed!

The owner/jeweler was so nice and had my ring ready in no time. My hubby was so pleased that he bought me two bracelets while we were visiting, and we visit Bay Street Jewelers, whenever we are in the area.often times purchasing one or more of their delightful pieces. We had such a wonderful experience meeting Mr. Stokes and his team! I had lost my wedding band and, while on vacation in Beaufort, found the perfect replacement at Bay Street Jewelers. I have never felt like I was being pushed to buy anything in the times that I have been to the store, which is a rare occurrence in a business such as jewelry. Bay Street Jewelers allows you to shop local without compromising in service or product and the prices are remarkably fair.

In addition, the post-sale support available (appraising, cleaning, repair) is top quality that surpasses the big store chains. Even though we have moved away from the Beaufort area, if I ever buy jewelry items I make a point to make the trip rather than settling for someplace else.

I'm from out of town and I'll wait till I come in to get my ring cleaned or fixed. It's the only place that keeps the ring to clean it well, instead of taking a simple brush to it like you can at home. He goes over it with a fine tooth and then a Sonic cleaner so it's actually clean behind the stone where it counts.
