Almassian Jewelers was established in 2006 by husband and wife gemologists Shannon and Trent Almassian. Their intention was to open a retail jewelry store that would provide West Michigan with access to the international jewelry industry that was previously only available in larger markets. Trent is the third generation in his family to be in the jewelry industry. He is a Graduate Jeweler Gemologist from the Gemological Institute of America (GIA), and a Certified Gemologist from the American Gem Society (AGS).

I had gone to a couple of different jewelers who told me my antique ring could not be sized. Went to Almassian Jewelers and the staff and the jeweler their treated me with respect (unlike the 2 previous jewelers). And they resized my ring and did a GREAT JOB. I couldn't be happier. I highly recommend them for all your needs. They are VERY knowledgeable!

Trent and the team at Almassian have been A-1 since day 1. It has been about a year and a half since I proposed, and we are still scheduled to get married this August (his rings work!). In all seriousness, we will be trusting Almassian with our wedding bands and will refer anybody their way! They make it pressure free, and you don't feel robbed and uninformed leaving the store.

When my fiance proposed, the ring he proposed with was from generations back on his mother's side. I too had a diamond solitaire my grandmother had left me before her passing. Having both rings with such sentimental value, we knew we wanted to combine the two. Trent was absolutely phenomenal to work with and walked us through the entire custom jewelry process.

My fiance and I worked with Trent to find an engagement ring, and ultimately made my ring custom. The ring is everything I wanted and more. They were recommended to us by a friend. We took my wedding rings and a pearl ring and another diamond anniversary ring to them. I had to have them cut off for major surgery. They look as beautiful as the day we bought them. They did a fantastic job. Highly recommend them and will definitely go back!
