My brother went into the store to have some changed looked at because he has a new interest in rare circulation coins. He came into the store to ask about some that he wanted some information on them. My brother came home upset because the clerk told him he doesn't want anything to do with it and when my brother said he just wanted info, he rudely said he doesn't care.
Now I understand if someone does not want to deal with that but our family has been coin collectors for generations and we have never had such a terrible and unprofessional experience with asking a question. We will not be doing any business there.

Sold them $20.00 face value 90% silver of nice quarters and dimes for melt value and after I left I realized they cheated me out of $40.00. They quoted me $142.00 for $10.00 face value, and the correct melt value at the time was $161.75. I was paid $284.00 and had I been paid fair it should have been $323.50. $39.50! Used to do business with them but, had a bad experience 10 years ago. First time I had been there in 10 years. Ran me off again.

I understand how it works that's the root of my frustration. I also understand that when you've been in business as long as you guys have, more than likely you get really good deals on all that except the light bill and such. I felt it was an unfair deal. Not to mention the item was a Carl poul Peterson pedestal centerpiece. Anyway sir I know you will continue doing well and I wish you the best, I just wanted people to know before they went up there. Last time I called got a price per ounce drove up there and was given less.

I have two dollar coins, the smaller ones, that I have had since they were issued. Have always wondered the value of said coins. Social media has lead me to belive that perhaps the gold one has some value greater than face. Some 30 years ago I did some business with Loop Coin and Jewelry in buying and selling baseball cards. I always found them fair.
Off to LC&J I go. I found them to be very professonial and knowledgeable. Willing to take time to answer question and show pictures of coins of value. Sadly our coins were only face value but we had a good time. For a while I thought I was on Pawn Stars.

I have been visiting the Loop Coins and Pawn for the last year. I have been treated with professionalism and respect since first visiting. I have found that their knowledge of gold and silver coins is extensive and reliable. Angie and Josh have been exceptional, but all of the sales staff have been great. I am from Ocean Springs, Ms and the drive and time that I spend going to Mobile is well worth it.
