Dan Grunwald, a Minnesota native, received his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from St. Cloud University. Dan started his jewelry career in Oklahoma before returning to Albert Lea, Minnesota to work as a bench jeweler. Then in 1991 he co-founded Hanson-Grunwald Jewelers in Mason City, Iowa. In 2005 Dan partnered with Jaimi Kiger to form Grunwald and Kiger Fine Jewelers.
Dan has won numerous jewelry design awards. Dan is a married father of two grown sons and a published children's author. Jaimi Kiger, a Mason City native, trained under local jeweler David Lee while in high school.

Jaimi Kiger did an excellent job with my fiancees ring! She helped me pick the perfect ring and I couldn't be happier! My fiancee loves her ring and gets compliments all the time. Every person at Grunwald & Kiger is friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. They do fantastic work and have a great selection. I've brought several things in to be repaired and every time the price is reasonable, they get the repair done in a reasonable amount of time and the work is excellent!
